Obviously the welcome bundle is a better deal, thats the whole point of it. Pretty much every FTP game ever made has a super value deal for starters, that's how they get you to be willing to spend money in the first place.

There's 31 mage spells in standard (not including quest), so the way i calculate it would be like this:
(1/31) + (1/30) + (1/29) = ~10%
So you have a 10% of pulling the first one, then you multiply by 10% for every additional glyph, which gets pretty small pretty fast (sadly).
