    Glad they're doing Q&A's, hope this becomes a regular thing that any player can easily partake in. 

    Hoping that goblins, ogres or pandaren get to be a tribe. 
    More group identities & synergies would improve the game thematically as well as mechanically. (Multicaster feels good) 

    Hoping for more overlap between classes, based on some similarity of identity.
    (there's been dual-class cards, tri-class, I was hoping for more of that in a horde v alliance expansion)

    My bet is on "reborn".
    They wouldn't touch "Echo" (they made a mana floor of 1 for the Echo copies, making the only fun Glinda deck unplayable)
    "Inspire" was kinda problematic and win-more.
    Maybe "Joust" could be cool to see again?

    Cool game where I had a T3 Eddy continue to grow in hand, then decide to go back on board (coins) and he had two "trigger draws" running at the same time. I call this deck and technique "surfing".

    Well, the 10 starting decks feature no Deadmines cards, so I'd still look forward to another article in a few weeks, once Raptor gets a feel for the new meta. Great work on this as always! even if I don't agree with the tier-lists (I prefer to analyze based on the situation, so I don't find tier lists useful in duels, apart from maybe a tier list of tech cards, I'd rate Rustrot Viper highly on that) Also, fun fact, Legendary Loot is actually pretty OP, as despite its wording, it DOES actually equip what you discover - I've experienced it first hand, and it's been reported  https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/hearthstone/t/duels-legendary-loot-card-text/74355

    Shadow priest getting Idol of Y'shaarj (plus new cards) is def a boost.
    The rat king multiplication was annoying in duels, glad of that fix.
    Jewel Kit + Prestor bug was sweet, even if it was a meme. RIP

    Don't forget to get that Free Entrance for unfinished Duels now, guys!

    The Mercenaries button is still not clickable (just glows blue) on any region, 18 hours after it was supposed to be "Live". PC. Don't even care for this game-mode, but neither do the team5, apparently.

    - 2x watchposts (bad lategame) for 2x Deeprun Engineer
    > provides flexibility in all stages of the game;
    > potion synergy
    > standard mechs pool is pretty nice (8 in total): 2 rush, 2 taunt, 1 "snowball", 1 stabilization, 1 Giant.

    Tempo - the "snowball" Replicat-o-tron cost-reduced to 3 means if they don't clear the engineer's unappealing 1/2 body it becomes a 3/3. Most of your early minions won't mind becoming 3/3s as well. You'll want to isolate Polkelt and the 8/8s (from the METAL MORDRESH party!!D) by playing a small body on the same turn, between them.
    The other tempo option is amalgam - 4/5 taunt on turn 3 feels nice and safe (but not nearly as METAL as a mosh pit of 3/3s :D)

    Value - Claw (draws minion &buffs by +3/+3); giant (vs big hand decks this is also a tempo pick)

    board control: not finding your reckless apprentices and wildfires on time? Explosive Sheep has you covered! and it comes down on turn 3 due to the cost reduction from deeprun engineer.
    Also remember: dirigible will cost 2 so you can corrupt it with any 3-cost card!

    This is my preferred deck to have fun in Stormwind, as it is full of strategic choices and the games feel both fresh and pleasantly familiar. As for viability, it looks like it can win both fast and slow matchups if piloted well.

    Wow! I wish I had the cards to play this!  Here are some thoughts/suggestions, from a fellow creative deck-builder: 

    -2 Freshman  +2 Safety Inspector
    Can be used to swap a 0-cost minion for (hopefully) something more useful; if your hand is empty, it's a 1 mana 1/3 draw a card. +With Gandling on board, it still draws, unlike Reader.

    - Cult Master - 1 Reader +1 Infectious Sporeling +1 Traveling Merchant
    Sporeling works great with carpet & amet, also plays well on T1, as it "checks" their tempo plays (I believe it overrides frenzy if played before the minion with frenzy, so it's good vs efficient octobot); disrupts taunts, deathrattles, rez-pools; Heropower can kill opposing sporelings, which negates that drawback. 
    Traveling Merchant is an alternative T2/T3 tempo play with zeroes in hand, or tradeable if you're looking for a combo piece. Wouldn't ever keep him in a mulligan, but a decent top deck.

    I can confirm that counterfeit blade does NOT acquire the Deathrattle of Mechathun when played after it's been Savory Delight-ed.


    I doubt it acqures it after Mechathun is overdrawn by Myra's.
