I guess so, but generally i used to counter early game plays (pre-old gods) and win the mid and the late game but nowadays my matches go to round 7 at best and i can't seem to find a deck to counter this aggro style
2
So, ladder restarted and there i go again trying some decks with my favorite Class (which is priest) and i can tell by my deck tracker (which is also a stats tracker) that my winrate with priest suddently dropped a lot. Upon a analysis i noticed that most of my matchups against Hunter, Shaman and Tempo Mage resulted in me losing the game. And with the increase of these decks in ladder i started to question my ability as a player, i am not a novice player but with all those deafeats i am currently stuck in ranks 12-8. No matter the decklist that i try i just get crushed with all those early game and super aggresive cards. So are you guys having the same trouble or i just to get to know the game more? Thanks for the help and i hope you all have a good time.

I like playing Shaman.
Midrange Shaman.

If you guessed 7, you were right!
As I looked at my other recent games, the trend towards losing as second player is there, but I've never seen anything so blatant.
So a tip for doing well at Arena: always go first!

Quote from DontFeedtheEmu >>Oink Dracodin is probably going to my new DnD character name.

Wow m8 what a joke! I will say the epic was a nice touch BUT! lmao

Brann + Consort does work! I have a whole deck based around it called Brann Dragonsbeard :)
2
If you Brann'd Dragon Consort, yes, it is possible to have such a situation.
Dragon Consort into Dragon Consort doesn't work because Dragon Consort is a dragon itself, so this is most likely the situation.

This has a positive win rate?
Herald Volasj doesn't seem great. You can't hit Velen the turn you play it, or rag. Hitting Gadgetzan could be too much draw pretty easily. Every other target is a whiff.
Silence and purify only draw you could probably cut them completely, you still have a lot of cheap spells.
I think Entomb would be good.
Actually, I think it needs more draw too. Loot Hoarders, and Thanes maybe? This deck runs crazy fast and if you don't hit your Auctioneer your gone gas pretty hard.

I was just thinking about Shaman cards compared to the other classes cards.
Doomhammer vs. what happened to Blade Flurry. Shaman can have this but Rogue can't have Blade Flurry I'm sorry but fuck you sir
Spirit Claws 3/3 one mana weapon v. Fiery War...Warrior feels shame
Tunnel Trogg - one/3 buff attack multiple times if overloading multiple crystals v. Mana Wrym - just one buff per spell
Maelstrom Portal vs. Arcane Explosion
Hex 3 mana vs. Polymorph 4 mana
Druid you thought you were good at cheating mana, Thing from Below, Flamewreath Faceless, get rekt son

top five + legendaries based on power
God Tier - Dr. Boom - Separate tier because I just don't even want to deal with this card lets get it out of the way
One. Pre (maybe even post) Nerf Yogg - I don't think any other legendary can swing games as hard as Yogg
Two. N'Zoth - Even though getting to the super late game is very inconsistent with the meta being aggro this guy owns late game so hard
Three. Ragnaros - He is fast enough to be playable v aggro, and packs a sizable punch v control
Four. Tirion -Same deal but even better. He provides a destructive taunter v. aggro and super value control
Five. Reno Jackson - Bane of aggro decks
tied for Five. Leeroy Jenkins - Bane of control decks
top five legendaries based on fun
One. Confessor Paletress - getting a random legendary when you hit hero power awesome
Two. Lorewalker Cho - Especially back in the day when he popped off of Shredder he added a lot of spice to the game
Three. Elite Tauren Chieftain - He gives you the power of ROCK
Four. Yogg - As salty as Yogg makes people. Come on. You know it is still pretty exciting to witness the power of madness, the Yogg fails at Blizzcon make it totally worth all the salt, now that you can insta purify Yogg. That was hilarious
Five. Jaraxxus - You know you shit yourself a little the first time you saw this card, and the hero turned into Jeraxxus OBLIVION

Yah, but I don't want to either play Shaman or a direct counter to Shaman.
I honestly wasn't sure about just auto conceding every Shaman game, but I am legitimately having more fun playing Hearthstone.
It is basically the only deck in the game right now that is broken. So just ignore it and move on.
1
To be honest I do enjoy the game more now that I always concede turn one to Shaman
There really is no other match up that is consistently that frustrating and anger inducing
1
Shaman has a 70% win rate I just troll then concede when I see one.
Qued into 3 Shamans in a row.
Guess I'm not playing HS until the new standard rotation.

Well second worst....
If your ranking the adventures and the expansions by their effect on the meta. I think Karazhan has to be second worse right under Grand Tournament (mostly unremarkable cards but also Secret Paladin arguably the most cancerous deck in HS history.)
Karazhan has a pretty similar record. The few cards in the set that get used just slid into existing archetypes making good decks better and doing little to nothing for bad decks.
The biggest impact it had was making Yogg decks better. yay.... Also making Shaman WAY better. yay.... It didn't introduce new cancer like Grand Tournament but it turned the cancer we had up to eleven. I mean a one mana 3/3 weapon for the strongest class in the game what were you thinking.
For arena players though I know that this is hands down the worst, near game breaking, omg everything I have in brain is telling me to stop playing this horribly balanced game release in the history of HS.
The only new deck, and I have been playing only decks with the new cards because I try to be the solution to freshening up the meta in HS and not the problem, but the only deck I have in the roster of decks that use Karazhan cards and is actually a new archetype and is slightly viable is Rez Priest. As you know Rez Priest is both not very good because it lacks consistency, and extremely frustrating and not fun to play against when they do hit the dream of turn 3 Blademaster, turn 4 rez x2 into Onyx Priest.

I have a new interaction in Hearthstone that I'm sure few have seen
I have two Djinni of Zephyrs my opponent has a Djinni of Zephyr
My opponent plays Entomb on my Djinni of Zephyr
His Djinni of Zephyr also becomes Entombed into back into his deck
My other Djinni of Zephyr is not effected
The card text on Djinni of Zephyr says "After you cast a spell on another friendly minion, cast a copy of it on this one."
Because Djinni effect takes place after you Entomb the card you Entombed is technically at that point a friendly a minion...that was in your deck when you cast Entomb on it...which can't be cast on friendly minions....oh god the top is still spinning, I have entered the matrix, mobious loop, mobious loop

The didn't really nerf Aggro Shaman when you think about it.
Aggro Shamans didn't even run Tuskarr Totemic before they started running Thing From Below.
Rock biter is only abusive when they top deck it for 10 dmg lethal, that late in the game 2 mana or 1 mana what is the difference?
By question is: Doomhammer, where is it? Why don't I see see Doomhammer on this list? Am I overlooking it? I must be? I'm sure it must be on this list somewhere, it would be nuts if it wasn't.

Really don't need to. Trust me Yogg as a competitive card is dead.
