And priest seems more and more like the way to go for Dragon decks. Dragons are just naturally big, and so synergises well with the priest's heal. Priest has good draw mechanics, so can reliably get a Dragon in their hand and keep hold of it. And now with the egg and this card lending themselves very well to buffs and heals, looks like priest is the class for Dragon decks.
Whenever I've made legend I don't really worry about it until about 5 days before the end of the season when the players at rank 1-5 are worse, then just pick a strong deck and really concentrate.

If you are playing mech mage and you lose the board in the first few turns - you lose. There is no comeback and adding wild pyromancer won't help.
The classes you mention are tough matchups and if you face them a lot you should probably switch decks.

Play this on 3 but then have no mech on board on turn 4 to activate my blastmage?
Underwhelming - I'd rather have a mech in my mech mage deck.
Not good with spare parts we need to save them for Tony Midas.

It was about 80:20 before shieldmaiden, more like 95:5 now.
Like you say you need to make 3-4 fireballs with Tony Midas and also have Alex in hand to stand a chance

People have played chess for thousands of years with the same pieces. There are 9 classes and new cards come out twice a year.
