You realize it pulls from the in game deck recipes not a tier list on something like HSReplay, right? Those decks are fine and playable but hardly refined enough to see any actual competitive play.

FirePalyHSplayer posted a message on Do you think Big Priest should be nerfed?Posted in: Wild FormatWhat a hypocrisy. If you really don't want mana cheating stuff, then you should nerf Voidcaller and Kobold Illusionist too. Voidcaller and Mal'Ganis are basically responsible for Cubelock being still strong and viable deck (I played this deck after 2 months at my Legend climb and it was slaughtering Big Priests,Odd Rogues and Renolocks). I'm against nerfing these cards but again, I'm also against nerfing some cards because people are salty to play against them(cough, cough Barnes).

definitelynotsalty posted a message on Balancing Spiteful Summoner?Posted in: Card DiscussionIf you think of Spiteful the same way as Reno, Baku, and Genn, you realize that it's not so overpowered. You must handicap your overall decklist by excluding powerful low cost spells.
As a standalone card it is bonkers. As a deck it's very good. "Very good" does not merit nerfing.

1xbenx1 posted a message on Balancing Spiteful Summoner?Posted in: Card DiscussionSpiteful is insanely good, but about 24 other cards in a spiteful deck are not.
Spiteful Summoner is near the bottom of my list of issues with the metagame right now.

MakiMaki posted a message on Balancing Spiteful Summoner?Posted in: Card DiscussionAre people not running BGH or voodoo doll? Or vilespine?
Nah, because running reliable answers to a turn 6 Summoner with a what ... 20% chance of giving you something good, would be too simple a solution ... complaining while not doing anything seems a lot more sophisticated. >_> -

genericuser1 posted a message on I'm not sorry to see Brode and Chu goPosted in: General DiscussionI'm sorry to say this, but if you really think Odd Paladin is the only deck that is seeing play/succes on ladder, you know nothing about this game.
Also Ben Brode isn't responsible for game balancing or card creation, so you're just being a dick basically.

Haters gonna hate. I'll bet my entire collection most of the haters here never hit legend before because of their scrub mentality.
Congrats to the OP. It's a big achievement to hit legend.

Question: 83% win rate at what level? Looks fun, though. I will try it.

I like how Dr. Six finally made Secret Paladin viable on the ladder.
The more viable deck archetypes there are on the ladder, the better.

You need to consider the overall effect of the discard mechanic on the metagame.
"Aggro with discard" decks will beat Control. (Just discard their mass removal).
Aggro with discard decks will beat Combo (Just discard their combo pieces).
The only thing that will reliably beat "Aggro with discard" are pure aggro decks.
Result: Metagame will degenerate into everyone playing either pure aggro or aggro with discard, because combo and control won't be viable.
The only way for discard not to become too powerful in Hearthstone is if there are also mechanics to bring cards back from the graveyard.
While I would love to have graveyard interactions in the game, that's another discussion altogether.

Depends what your other 2 cards are. If you have a 3-drop. coin Wild Growth.
If you don't, coin Aspirant because it gives you board presence.

Try this Secret Paladin budget version. Replace Dr. Boom and Tirion with 2 Divine Favor so you don't run out of steam for the end game.

The most OP card you can craft in TGT are NOT legendaries.
The best cards I crafted for TGT so far are my Mysterious Challengers. It just made my then-struggling secret Paladin deck come together beautifully.

People are netdecking. Nothing new here.

I got 2 from 50 packs, then just 1 more from the 43 packs I bought with gold.
1. Rhonin
2. Dreadscale
3. Eydis Darkbane
So that's a total of only 3 legends in 93 packs.
Not sure if Blizz decreased the drop rate of legends or something so I wanna see how others did.

You should craft the 2 best neutrals that can go into any class first.
As for me, I will be gathering win rate data for the next 2 weeks before deciding which cards to craft and hopefully make a better-informed, data-driven decision.
I won't do another Troggzor.
Last expansion, everyone else was raving about how awesome Troggzor will be, so I crafted it as soon as GVG went live. He saw action for the first week or so before he was ultimately cut for better cards like Dr. Balanced. Been gathering dust in my collection ever since.
