    i feel like even with the tempo loss from the 5 mana spell, by having the potential for almost infinite value, not to mention the fact that the game is balanced around having 2 copies of any given card, so getting the chance for 3-4 fireballs, or 3-4 iceblocks is crazy. I think That this card provides to much value.

    example

    I won this match as big priest, but he ended up having 4 counter spells. Caught my holy nova with one, I caught the next one with a wasted silence. Assuming I’m in the clear, which I wasn’t, he got the 4 mana Rez. And his last one got my dragon fire potion. secrets are twice as strong when you can realistically play around them. I won by a sliver using dk hero power, he was playing ele DK mage.

    I don’t understand people that play just Aggro- minion decks. How the fuck is it “fun” to just vomit out your hand and attack face. They literally just concede if the game get past turn 6. I’ve played like 10 matches today and those players literally did not interact with my cards one time.... not 1 time. It’s like playing a Bot. 0 thought, 0 skill. People that defend that crap like “there has to be competitive decks like that to balance the game” are just garbage that play those decks. For the record I don’t give a shit if I lose, because wining feels just as shitty, you don’t feel like you out played some one when they concede with 25 hp left cause they have 1 card in their hand and it’s turn 7. I really like this game, I just wish that blizzards game philosophy wasn’t to support having a 3 min card match.

    I agree that priest is obnoxious and I strongly dislike the OTK idea as a whole. But I feel like if you are going to rage about that kinda of deck it should be a dislike of the OTK concept in general not just priest. It was stupid when warrior otk was around it’s just as dumb with priest and mage.  

    Ive lost plenty of games as priest cause if you don’t have Raza early in the game you whole deck falls apart. You can’t stay alive, you can only board clear a couple times, and spending the 2 mana for DK hero power adds up quick. I’ve also had Raza dirty rat’d out and it screws up the entire game.  There are ways to shut it down and with the fact that priest has 2 class cards that make you draw 1 cards from your deck and you can only have one of each of them in the deck means it is easy to lose a game cause you have Raza Velen or Anduin on the bottom of your deck.

    I have posted on quite a few of these priest outrage post, but I like to ask around, why do you think priest is op and quest mage is not? Same OTK but it can do twice as much dmg. Better card draw, better consistency cause it isn’t a highlander deck, not to mention usually 6+ turns of pretty much invulnerability 

    just curious.

    I’m not lengend and I don’t even play more then 100-125 games a season. But even if I win against quest mage, the game is not fun. I do play a lot of control decks and don’t mind having a long game but I’ve had games where I see 4 or more ice blocks and 5 frost novas and that makes the game so freaking boring. I don’t feel that way when I’m playing against priest. I get a little annoyed for sure, aka thought steal got him Tirion and rag lightlord but I don’t feel completely helpless as often.

    on a side note I am surprised they don’t have a cards remove the frozen effect, it’s such a dull mechanic that doesn’t really have and counter and if it’s a thing they are going to embrace on shaman I think they should have one.

    I don’t understand how priest is getting flamed but people here think quest mage is somehow more fun to play against.  You spend 6+ turns EVERY game doing nothing against mage, cause your board of frozen or he has ice block, then at the end of the game mage does 75+ dmg in 1 turn, no amount of armor saves you.  This priest highlander deck is not as consistent as mage, Raza on the bottom or dirty ratted or Anduin on the bottomland you can’t close a game out. Unlike mage that has a way better ability to draw cards so that they have the cards they need. Quest mage is by far the least fun deck to play against in this expansion.

    posted a message on 64 health to 0 in a single turn. Is this a thing now?

    I get that jade and priest decks can be total bull, but there really is no justifying have 5 turns of invulnerability with extra ice blocks. I see three in most games, but I have seen as many as six. So even if that game was 20 turns long the fact that 25% of those turns you just had to pass your turn is terrible design, and that doesn’t even count the blizzard/frostnova+ doomsayer making the passing turns closer to 30-35%. There are a handful of cards that can prevent that from happening. Secret eater, which is trash, hunter snipe, mage potion of polymorph, and the 5/5 that increases spell cost by 2.  But you have to have those tech cards in your hand when he about to start that fiasco and the last solution many time he can just kill it and stall another turn so that it happens one turn later. I play all types of sub tier one control decks. There shouldn’t be decks in the game that can do 100+ dmg in “1turn”  ( I know it’s technically 2). Where you have no interaction with the opponent, which is only made worse by the 25% of turns that game you had to probably just pass before that.

    posted a message on Can control hunter be possible in the next expansion?

    i like the new hunter dk, the ability is fun and functional.  But if I don't have that card turn six it's lights out. Because hunter control cards are not effective at board clear and hunter has 0 draw capability. So my question is, if control hunter is a legitimate archetype blizzard is trying to have, what kinda of cards does hunter need to see for that type of deck to be successful?

    posted a message on frost lich + baron geddon

    played against a mage and got her down to 1 hp. She drops a Baron Geddon and "kills herself" followed by a heal for 8.  I understand that elementals have life steal but shouldn't the game be over if you are brought to negative hp. Cause it's dmg then heal not the other way around.  Does that same thing work for like Life steal weapons? It just feels like a strange interaction.

    I understand that the warlock DK cost 10, but that dk hero is 100% overpowered. The battle cry effects the board state and there is no way to catch up to 3+ minions on board and a hero power that makes a 6hp swing (-3 for you , +3 for him)  for 2 mana. Easily the best hero power. It's Not gimmicky (like the warrior) just straight up strong all the time.

    I thought that Blizz wanted to stop supporting decks that feel like this.  I get that having the whole combo doesn't come on turn 10 every game, but like the warrior otk deck, it feels like you are just playing against his draw. Not an actual deck or minions. Can he stall... yes... you lose.  No reasonable amount of health or armor can save you (I had a game with 30hp and 50armor he had 1 hp for 3 turns) . And between at least 2 frost novas, 2 ice blocks, 2 blizzards, 2 doomsayers, and never mind all the spells you generate through cabalist tomb, the glyph, the minion, it doesn't seem hard to stay alive long enough. I played a guy with 4 ice blocks.... wtf do you do without having a secret eater.

    i feel like there are a lot of useful legendaries in ungoro and I didn't get that many from packs. I've been playing since day1 and I have a lot of cards from every expansion and adventure. I wanna dust a lot of a bunch but I'm worried that they might rotate back in. I'm pretty sure I recall reading a blue post about it when they originally talked about standard, that they might bring some adventures and stuff back after a while. I was just curious what people think. Even though cards like majordomo are not something people use, even in wild, if it comes back it could be used in a deck in the future. I also don't play wild, pretty much ever, except on the extreamly rare occasion with a friend.

    I just opened 79 packs and got 1 legendary card.... 1 copy of 1 legendary. What the hell! Last expansion I opened like 10 more packs then this one and got 5. I secretly hoping they had a problem like last time and give me 25 more packs to open, cause that is bonkers.

    I think that the priest quest is going to be dope when they add another hero transforming card this year. If domo wasn't rotating that would be a sick combo. 40 hp rag hero. Although I guess warrior gets that anyway with all the armor they can have and their op quest.

    Im not saying that this card is some god tier card. I'm just saying that the people that say "it'll get insta removed" are not taking into account that they can deal with this and 1 other card with hex/poly/etc . Leaving other cards open to use. Running one of these, tirion and rag lightlord means you can't flat out remove one of them. And yes I do understand there are other removal cards but IF this is part of the meta, people are going to save a removal which is valueable by itself.
