The thing is, if the effect was slapped on an epic, or rare card, that costed less, it still wuld’ve been kinda meh.

U can play Amara, and put 2 copies of her in your hand w 2 of these or 1 and zola.
Prolly too slow in most cases but this could push Fatigue Quest Priest a lot in standard.

CasmX posted a message on New Card Reveal - Crowd RoasterPosted in: NewsThis is a worse Blackwing Corruptor and that card was 29th in every dragon deck. Like Priest didn't even play it in dragon age. This one is worse. So I really doubt it.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure you're wrong on that. There's a pretty significant difference between 3 damage and 7, so it's going to be pretty common for this to outright kill whatever minion it hits. There's also the fact that Crowd Roaster is itself a dragon, furthering dragon synergies where Blackwing Corruptor does not.
Honestly, this card is much closer to Blazecaller or Firelands Portal, both of which are very good. Hell, you could even make a case for comparing it to Vilespine Slayer since the damage is so high, outright killing all but the highest of health minions.
In short, I disagree with you.

OzUnOo posted a message on New Hero Power OTK Mage - Rastakhan's RumblePosted in: New Hero Power OTK Mage - Rastakhan's RumbleGreat idea, but I think you're going the wrong route. The big spell mage shell is meant for pure control/fatigue, it doesnt support combo strategies well. I think it's better to get a blast from the past (lul), the old Freeze Mage shell!

You already have Jan'alai combo as a second win condition, no need for a third one, so its better to make your first one more consistent: more draw, better stall, and with Alex you only need 02 Automatons to kill your opponent the next turn in many matchups.
I also want to try out Spirit of the Hawk Instead of Artificer, to get both win conditions easier w/o trading one for another, but maybe that's too much, will require testing.

GetchX posted a message on New Card Reveals - Rabble Bouncer & Soup VendorPosted in: NewsSoup Vendor not meant to be played on turn 2 since it is unlikely you have taken 3 damage by then (or if you have, then the opponent likely can just trade into the guy). It's meant for a combo piece later in the game, but unless there is a reliable way to draw two cards off the guy, you are just better off putting the card you'd like to draw in your deck instead of this guy.
Rabble Bouncer is probably too conditional to play. If three minions on the board it is "fair", and "fair" doesn't cut it these days. It's good with 4 minions on the board, but really only if you play him on turn 3. If opponent has 4 minions on the board by turn 3, you probably are in trouble anyway. Too hard of a condition to meet to see play. Too bad he didn't have one more attack somehow

YJHS2000 posted a message on New Shaman Legendary - ZentimoPosted in: Card DiscussionSo much wrong in these comments. Let's start with:
- Unstable Evolution: Sounds nice, but need 4 minions out to get serious value (and Zentimo has to be on an end)
- Bloodlust Not affected, does not target
- Spells that do two things like Tidal Surge and Jade Lightning: You only target multiple minions, not cast on them separately. I.e., read Tidal Surge as "Deal 4 damage to a minion and adjacent minions. Restore 4 Health to your Hero."

C_A_W posted a message on New Warlock Legendary - High Priestess JeklikPosted in: Card DiscussionNew discard cards are very good compared to discard cards of past. Targeted discard and Guardian of Souls to get back discarded cards might just be good enough to make Discardlock viable.

Yes, that's why you sometimes have to use Hex instead of Crushing Hand, so that you can save it to upgrade your spellstone once you draw it. Spirit Echo is a really cool card, but Ancestral Spirit is obviously better since you don't want to get totems in your hand that potentially mill your own draw. Unless the meta is getting super control-oriented, I feel like two Ancestral Spirits are enough.

Well, honestly it doesn't work so well as other combo decks such as cube lock and big priest. But it's very rewarding when you are able to win with the giant combo. What's your thoughts on some of my card choices? Any other cards you can think of to be tried?

Great deck! I swapped a Spellbreaker for Tainted Zealot due to its synergy with Defile, and a Siphon Soul for Twisting Nether because it can clear opponent's Taunts while triggering your cubes' Deathrattles, all in a single card. I won several games with twisting nether. So maybe worth a shot!

Thank you for sharing your deck! I'm a mill rogue lover, excited to see other people's ideas in making the archetype viable for ladder. Here's my questions and observations:
1. What's you reasons for choosing Betrayal over Eviscerate as hard removal? I always run Eviscerate for its flexibility in dealing early board and close game damage, but maybe you can convince me to use Betrayal instead.
2. What do you think of Vilespine Slayer? I used to run 1 copy of it to deal with mid game threat, but sometimes it is a little heavy. Give me your reasons to give it up.
3. I was also thinking whether Sonya Shadowdancer would fit, because I saw other deck list includes it, but I doubt it might not worth a spot due to its inconsistency in creating value.

deal 5 damage. gain 5 armor. summon 5/5 ghoulem. why don't they have one that draws you 5 cards? trash, confirmed.

Not really. Dragon is the keyword. With Y'Shaarj you don't have that consistency. But I agree it doesn't worth the huge stats difference

Exactly.

At my first glance I thought it's name was "dustbreaker."
Then somehow it looks like "deckbreaker."
Finally I realize this is really "metabreaker."

I'm hesitant to add cards that work insane when you have played your raza+dk but can hardly be played otherwise (Confessor Paletress, for example) , because in most of the matches if you draw both raza and dk you win anyway.
To increase the winrate when you don't have both (especially raza), I think the deck should focus more on how to survive until you draw them or other ways to end the game. For me, Deathlord and Sludge Belcher are auto-includes in Reno-priest, just because they are so good against aggro and tempo decks.
