Thanks, now I have Nazi in my google search history.  I thought that was a HS card or some gibberish lol.

Bomb Warrior is pretty midrange, why don't you include the bomb package.

Reaper and Gan'arg are better weapons for tempo and helping weenies make better trades and go face, of which this deck has a number of.  Basically I'm putting my stock in the (mostly) newer cheap minions and Troublemakers over bombs.

After theorycrafting a ton of Midrange Warrior over the past few days despite taking a break from Hearthstone for the last two and a half expansions this is what I came up with.  Overall it's the best (or very close to best) list I believe I'll come up with for the non-control, non-aggro archetypes of Warrior; that being said, I am still not 100% sure I'm on the right track.  Thoughts and suggestions appreciated!

The singletons are all justified in that they're most desirable as a 1-of's for the sake of adaptability and versatility.  WW is strong against aggro, plus there's no other way to ping for 1 damage in the deck save Lord Barov's deathrattle.  It also clears the board with Barov and enables a turn 9 wombo combo with Kel'Thuzad in the mix.  On top of that it can enable cheap or even free Bloodboil Brutes.

Risky Skipper could included instead (or as well?) for mostly the same reasons, but regardless I like the upsides of WW; the obvious downside of Risky Skipper is that it harms the other weenies but the repeatable WW value of it is amazing regardless.  I'm not positive grabbing Ancharrr and stuffing in a pirate package is the way to go here though, but it does sound like it has potential regardless.

Regardless of what decks are good, Voracious Reader and Secret Passage will get nerfed by 1 mana.

And will still see play lol

    Likely it replaces everything.

The secret that draws 2 cards when an opponent casts a spell might see more play alongside Secret Passage because of this!

There are so many insane 1-drops that Aggro, Tempo and Midrange are all going to have a field day and leave Control in the dust on ladder.  The sheer volume of powerful 1-drops is even more impactful than Secret Passage, Glide and Voracious Reader, granted they vastly improve these cards as well.  Keep in mind just how powerful Divine Favor was in comparison to these.

I'll do me one better: Control decks will see fringe play in tournaments.

Edit: regarding nerfs, Secret Passage will likely get nerfed to 2 mana, granted that just gives Rogues incentive to run Preps for it (which is brilliant as Prep is a strong thematic card).  Voracious Reader will either become a 1/1 or cost 1 more.  Nothing will happen to Glide; it's a somewhat clunky card that only really hurts control decks.  The 1-drops are still insane but at this point the cat's out of the bag; they're not about to nerf half a dozen 1-drops.

1.) There's definitely more than enough draw power here and not enough minions - Battle Rage has to go.

2.) Bloodsworn only shines with more minions and ways to ping said minions, and waiting until late into the game to combo with Playmaker is never worth it.  It should go as well.

3.) Rampage is unfortunately only playable with numerous cheaper, beefier minions; it too has no place here.

4.) The deck has no non-weapon cards that affect the board whatsoever pre-turn 4 - focus on filling that gap so you have something to mulligan for in those matchups.  Hench-clan Hogsteed is cheap, flexible and seems to have some decent synergy with Playmaker as well.

4a.) Add some cheap removal spells for anti-aggro.  It never hurts to run one copy of Whirlwind in Standard.    Awaken! is pretty sweet as it gives +3 attack that turn to boot; Bladestorm has loads of potential as well.  Finally, there is absolutely no excuse for not running Sword and Board in Standard!

4b.) Southsea Deckhand should replace the Pillagers.  The deck has five weapons, three weapon upgrades, two weapon tutors and some draw power in Cutting Class anyway so weapons are something it should never run short on; what the deck needs is speed.  Also worth noting is that if worst comes to worst on turn 2 the deck can Upgrade! and Deckhand to clear the board of some weenies.

posted a message on I'm worried that aggro will be a real problem.

2 mana one-sided Jeeves is absolutely insane.  That being said it's bad in decks with any curve whatsoever; it makes decks extremely highroll.  Aggro will either pop off with it early or flounder and draw multiple card draw effects or none at all.

posted a message on Shaman full card reveal discussion.

They'll be hilariously reliant - ridiculously, even - on legendaries and/or huge synergies.  Nothing about how Shaman plays out games is normal.  Overload spells were originally strong but have now been brought low by powercreep.  That's not to say the class isn't playable, but the last thing one can do is just throw together 30 Shaman cards and call it a deck.

That being said, that's some strong spell damage synergy.  Anyone who thinks Primordial Studies (or any Study, for that matter) is a bad card doesn't understand just how powerful a 1-mana discount on a reactive or combo card is.

posted a message on I just don't know what to do with my collection

If you're not sure whether to play an expansion, watch streamers play the first few days of the expansion instead.  If they're not having any fun, and the game gets boring to you, then don't play the expansion.

I understood that the current developers were much newer to balancing game modes during Rise of Shadows as well as Uldum, so I left and waited until now to come back myself.  I'm very excited to play the new expansion as I have a lot of faith that they have learned a lot (and the cards look fun, too)!

posted a message on At which rank do you start to face competitive decks?

In my couple dozen games so far from the bottom of Bronze to mid-Silver, I've played a few decks that are straight-up Standard decks and another few that are very much most likely meta lists (pirate Warr, lock variations).  The Cubelock player didn't seem to know what he was doing but other than him everyone has known how to play the game generally well despite ranks.  I'm super OK with my losses and wins at this point but I am miffed that it'll take so many more wins to get to higher ranks.  It'd be nice if they let you just skip 5 ranks pre-Gold if you're ever on a big winstreak but oh well.

It's been a fun way to earn some gold for SA if nothing else!  I'm glad I can still play with all of my old cards.  I'm milking my Big Warrior cards till its dry!

posted a message on Need help with spell damage dragon hunter

You have enough dragons and can get rid of the Feywings and Faerie Dragons; you can keep just a one-of of whichever between them you'll need to fill out your curve and then fill in the rest with goodstuffs.  Alternatively, you could replace them with Frizz Kindleroost plus two chungus whelps which net you a draw each, giving you a thicc body and more consistency which is important for your curve and finisher combos.

Getting rid of those bland bodies that keel over to AoE and Rush minions is omni-important imo; you'll find yourself drawing enough dragons with seven in the deck anyway, particularly since the two of the cheapest ones discover a dragon as well.
