The debate is not whether they really OP or not, im just so tired to still play against the same crap since BG was released. Every other builds has changed through patches and murlocs are still the same bullcrap. I'm currently on 9k MMR and every single lobby where Murlocs are not rotated out its almost guaranteed the winning tribe will be Murlocs. It's just badly designed. It's about time they address this and do a significant change like move Brann to tavern 6 which i think is the best way to nerf them cause it also makes Lightfang way more relevant and right now Managerie just suck.
I cant express how much i hate this card right now. I'd take Mackerel meta like 1000 times more. I'm so tired seeing this cancer build everygame and it always comes down to who attacks first. Worst card they have designed in BG yet imo.
I dont want to be the devil's advocate but i have a fear that Monstrous Macaw will still be a problem. Its definitely a nerf since you can no longer get it on tavern 2 with Spawn of Nzoth and there are fewer in the pool, but the Macaw-Goldrin combo is still going to be insanely strong. I think it would make more sense to make it a tavern 4 minion, give it much bigger stats, but make its effect an Overkill effect.
Hooktusk's only issue was Saurolisk builds. Apart from that she is a completely balanced hero. You want to make her unplayable because of Saurolisk? Nerfing Saurolisk seems a much better solution.
I had made a similar thread the first day of the patch cause i experienced the same thing. Apparently when they say "beasts" they dont mean all cards with Beast tribe, they mean all the cards that belong to the "Beast" bracket (most beasts,pack leader,etc etc)
Megasaus is a beast but it belong to the Murloc bracket. So it gets rotated out when Murlocs are rotated. They should have clarified that a little better in patch notes (maybe show the all the bracket cards for each pool in the patch notes).
Literally everyone plays this build right now. And its almost impossible to beat, even a godtier Murloc build struggles to beat this. This patch made BG 100 times worse, hands down.
Definitely hate this card already but im more concerned about Monstrous Macaw. The combo with Spawn is too easy to get and too rewarding, it doesnt lose to anything else in the early game. They need to move Macaw to tavern 3 so least you dont get the spawn combo this early.
Since pirates patch i literally feel like im playing in an aggresive constructed meta. Most lobbies end before you even get to the late game phase. Monstrous Macaw + Spawn of Nzoth is a BS combo and you can get it from tavern two. Also the cannons are Jugglers on steroids since they are triggered by all minions and you get them from tavern 2. I think i'm already starting hate this patch.

Brann should be moved to tavern 6. This would also make Lightfang more relevant.

I just played lobby where Beasts were excluded yet a guy rolled a Megasaur? Is this a bug or am i missing something here?
