Yeah. This is pretty brutal. This is the only thing that beat the deck I was playing:

I've got some answers for it, but havent seen many people playing the ponies yet...

Just beat a shaman so bad he disconnected mid game. He had full board and mine was empty but I was just about to draw excavated evil probably. Sickest deck.

I'm glad to hear this deck worked out for you and you're exactly right. You just need to focus on getting rid of the troggs and then it becomes pretty straightforward.

SIDEBOARDS. I think your deck should be able to have a ~5 card sideboard. How it would work is that after both players' heroes are announced, they get to swap any number of cards from their main deck with cards in their sideboard. This would really help deal with combo decks since you can have tech cards for those match-ups in the sideboard and not have to play them in other matches where they are bad. It would also make cards like Arcane Explosion much more playable (you can sideboard it against Paladin or something)

I made legend for the first time a couple of days ago. My experience playing on the ladder has been nothing short of terrible. I made the climb with my home brew midrange paladin, facing tons of no skill brainless crap decks. You think it takes skill to play druid? It takes absolutely no brainpower what so ever. Ive been playing against that shitty combo crap since release, and its the same fucking deck, using the same goddamn combo still. Same with patron. And dont even get me started on face huntard, mech mage, and all the other retard "go for the face only" bullshit decks. Ive come to the conclusion that the people piloting them simply doesnt have the analytical skill to play a deck with depth, its the only logical explanation. I have a simple solution that will make most of the problems go away however:
Remove charge from the game. Thats right. Its been the primal souce for brokeness since beta. Remove the charge mechanic and face huntard dies, combo druid dies, patron dies, and almost all is well in the world.
Oh, and to the people complaining about OP cards. Nerf Dr. Boom? Mysterious Challenger? Noooo, the most broken card in the game since beta is, and has always been, Thoughtsteal. If you understand the concept of card advantage, then sit down and ponder on what this card really does. Oh, its random you say? Its hit and miss? No fucking way is it EVER hit and miss. All 30 cards in my decks are there for a reason, they have a specific function, primarily to counter my opponents stragedy . When a priest gets a hold of just ONE of those cards, its a MUCH bigger advantage than just drawing one extra card. Nerf that shit to kingdom come.
Oh, and btw. Im NEVER gonna try and get legend again. Facing "I win for free" in such quantity is mind blowing. Its like people dont WANT a challenge and a good experience, they just want to play decks on autopilot and feel good about winning, when in reality, it took absolutely no thought or tactical execution. Just pure shit. Good riddance ladder. Got the cardback and never looking back.

I took my some time to get Doomsayer out on turn 2 without him having either exactly 7 damage on the board or Confuse in his opening hand. But once I was past that it was a piece of cake.

I switched [card]Tuskarr Jouster[/card] with Harrison Jones and it worked out really good so far (especially that one time when Silvana stole my Tirion and I destroyed his weapon with Harrsion).

A weapon that damages minions when they attack the hero. Would that make sense? Should it also loose durability when that happens?

I played against the classic pay-to-win control warrior in casual mode and he never once pushed the end turn button. The game went over 20 rounds or so. I so hate this retarded guy. I think he just expects the opponents to concede. Why would anyone do this except for heaving a very small penis??

Of course you are absolutely right! It was more of theoretic scenario :-)
