Pretty much the same as I explained above:  I like the syngery with Vilefin too when I tested it, still needs more testing but basically I find sir finely helpful in a lot of match ups that are faster than this deck (for healing, card draw advantage, armor, removal) depending on the board state, where as sometimes against control mage / druid/ hunter hero powers can give you an insane lead. Whereas the vilefin's value comes when you get the syngery cards only. Paladin's hero power it self is great yes, but a quick example of turning the tides with sir finely is playing him late when both sides have low cards and you pull ahead by getting the warlock hero power, or he has a dangerous creature that you can take out with the help of rogue/druid/mage hero power where as the paladin requires its 1/1 recruit to survive the turn to do so.

Why not play both? i saw a similar deck sunday and found this deck online yesterday at work so last night build it but with a few changes. Replaced  the bluegills for ysera and vilefin and remved the corrupter and sylvana for two ivory knights also added zoobot for technician. The 5 mana spot feels so crowded in this deck and while i love sylvana the flexibilty and value knight makes too this deck is great ivory knight is like an xfactor. not too mention the heal is invaluable in this current meta. Having both finlay and vilefin in the same deck have its values get finley early on maybe choose life tap draw a few cards later on you might feel youve drawn enough cards and decide too get the dudes back also the 1-3 body trades well with a certain 1 drop that lots of hunters are playing on ladder. Although the 2-1 body charge does also trade well against certain 2 drops. My experiences after one night is that this deck is pretty good, although got the feeling some people didnt know what it was like a hunter not trading with my giant tode plays animal companian and goes face with his two drop i play zoobot and effectively kill leok and took control of the game from that point.

posted a message on So.. is Priest not a joke class anymore?
    Quote from iLuvMapleSyrup >>

The thing about Priest is that its not a shit class. It's just shit in this meta. But if this were a control meta, they would be so good. For example, they have one of the best basic set. It's just that it's way too slow. Take Paladin. They have Consecration for four mana they can wipe a Zoolock's board clean. And Priest has a five mana Consecration with a 1 mana Aoe heal. Yet, Priest and Paladin have a hard time beating Zoo because Zoo keeps shitting on them by rebuilding a board. Priest which has more AOE like Circle-Auchenai, Excavated Evil, and Shadow Word: Horror and even runs Doomsayer and Wild Pyro at times can't beat Zoo any better than Paladin can. Zoo lock is just op and unless the meta changes, priest will keep getting shitted on by zoo, aggro, midrange, everything except control. So the real question to ask is how do you make Priest's meta better? Make Paladin stronger, Zoo weaker. This way Priest can be the counter to Paladin and yet not have Zoo be a weakness. But Warrior can remain untouched as it keeps Priest in check and Priest keeps Paladin in check. And Paladin keeps Warrior in check.

In a ressurect priest you have too aggressively mulligan for pyro against zoo, If you get pyro then well most of the time the zoo matchups will be a peace of cake since youle be ressurecting pyro alot and just clear board basically every turn. I have found the zoo matchup quiet easily since building my ressurect priest but i have been lucky asswell i gues getting pyro alot..and if not pyro then barnes pulls me a bog greeper. but yeah if no pyro and no barnes luck then it is hard excavated evil only helps so much but not enough.

posted a message on Opinion: Complaining about net decking is hypocritical and WRONG
    Quote from frankelee >>

I was really surprised there was any talk of "netdecking" when I started playing Hearthstone. The internet as a means to distribute strategy information has been a regular part of gaming for well over a decade. It's hard to read anyone whining about netdecking and take them the least bit serious, as they just sound clueless and completely unaware of the world. Yeah, decklists get shared. The vast majority of the community uses that shared information. Especially players who are good.

I build my own decks but ive never had a problem with net deckers. The problem i do have is though is that you get people that have never tried building a deck cause they dont know how too build a deck and in the process they are actually missing out on one of the funnest parts of a tcg..building your own deck and experimenting with it and making changes too it and winning with your own deck. These four things that makes tcg's fun for me is collecting/building/winning. Net deckers miss out on one of those three. Net deckers might say im still enjoying the game..i would say too you once you start building your own dsecks you gona enjoy it so much more.

confirmed worst exp ever gg blizz

I so agree that this is the worst[kappa]. No nax and gvg powercreeps yet..how am i suppose too replace dr boom and my shredders? Why is control and midrange shaman getting love? Only shaman archetype that should exist is cancer..where is the crackle replacement? Exciting, fun and unpredictable cards like this and "renounce darkness" and an alternative universe rag shouldnt exist in such a "serious" game like hearthstone..kappa. Seriously though with only 53 cards revealed so far and you confirming that this is the worst expansion ever makes your comment one of the "worst" premature comments ive ever seen since there is another 80 odd cards too be revealed

dude this just showing how bad player you are
Tell me how does my comment show that im a bad player? Did i say this card is great? i said its fun and exciting oh and if you haven't noticed midrange/control shaman is getting love. If you haven"t noticed that... maybe your not as good a player as you think you are. Even if my comment somehow prove im a bad player how is that even relevant in this conversation where you are stating prematurely that a expansion is the worst ever when more than half the cards has not been released yet?

For 8 mana? Really? Three Animal Companions=9 mana for three cards. This=8mana for one card. What is this? Value hunter?

That's a very poor way of thinking about it. Each of those beasts is worth at least 4 mana stat wise. This is like getting 12 to 13 mana worth of minions for 8 mana. It's a VERY strong card.
I know that the value doesn't exactly add up like that. But that just strengthens my point: 8 mana is ridiculously low, and the fact that the cost is even lower than playing the three original cards (hence, three vs one card) is also completely ridiculous, notwithstanding the value you're actually getting.
8 mana is definitely low. This is dr boom, shredder value if not more..i believe the beasts animal companion summons might get nerved thats why this so strong but gues well have too wait and see.

I really don't like this card.

I think that all 10 mana cards should read "Win the game" if you have set it up well.  That's why I think anyfin is just right, with the right set up in a control deck it is the win condition.  This card is 10 mana maybe win next turn if they don't have board control. Even then, you don't wanna run stupid deathrattles in a control deck that actually consistently gets to turn 10.

Sludge belcher, piloted shredder, sylvana, tirion are all mainstays in say paladin control. Definitely not "stupid" death rattles minions. Amazing card hey has the potential too bring more value then anything else in the game imagine the dream. two shredders -8 mana, two sludges -10mana, sylvana -6mana, tirion -8mana plus this cards whos stats are worth 6 mana that equals 38mana worth of cards for 10 mana. Even if just one shredder had died you breaking even on 10 manas worth of stats antyhing more than shredder is value.
Only two of those cards will be playable in standard. Not a very good arguments

Who said i was talking about standard? Everyone serious about this game and everyone except people starting too play now knows those deathrattles wont be part of standard anymore. This cards popularity in standard depends on the amount of death rattle minions we still have too see from this expansion. Nothing breathtaking shown so far of what i can remember.

the prime example of the idiotic part of the community..
now to the explanations part of the community, yeti was played before shredder was in the game, this is a Yeti with a good effect, it will see play
Cancer shaman player confirmed..he only sees cancer shaman as a valid shaman deck and that is the only shaman deck that this probably wont fit in.

this card has one glaring issue and that is doomsayer, the fact that every totem u ever make has a chance to become that and lose the game. I love the card dont get me wrong but a 4/5 for 4 that has a chance of blowing your board up worries me a bit. I will not get my hopes up that this card will be good.

Oh so its because of the doomsayer issue that we not seeing piloted shredder in constructed any more..kappa

I see a ton of complaints about the scared WoW lore but people seem to forget what WoW did the the lore of warcraft in general.

Wait, people actually care about WoW lore?!

Most people do i definitely do and love it. I'm open minded when it comes too cards like this though its fresh and exciting and a nice twist on rag. Some other people though are acting like blizzard is commiting some kinda sacrilege too their own lore.

Wow Ben cant believe you've been among us for 41 days. Well let me be the first then too thank you and the hearthstone development team for bringing us new and fresh content every 3-4 months since nax release. Thank you for sticking too lore but also making some twists like like this awesome looking rag card..it keeps the game exciting and fresh.

Who cares about the lore anyway.

HS has never taken itself seriously.

My only complaint about the card is, why is it not a dragon.

     Why would it be?
Because this would fit in a dragon deck obviously.
Woa guys..many people are already calling this card sacrilege. Imagine how tortured they would be if it was called Ragnaros: dragonlord of light lol. I still want them around hey so my rag can try too show their tortured souls the light. :p

You seem unable to grasp the point, so let me spell it out to you: them owning the IP is no reason to suspend all critical thinking and blindlessly swallow  whatever idea they come up with. Stupid things are stupid, who owns the IP doesn't matter.
I understood you the first time. I simply disagree. "Stupid," in this case, is a matter of opinion. Some people think this card is amusing.
I think it's great that Hearthstone has the freedom to play around with the more absurdly GrimDark tropes of WoW.
The point is Falbrogna its still their IP..its their game they can do whatever they want with it doesnt matter how stupid it is and how little thinking they put into their decisions. You either accept it or be in torture when ever someone plays this different version of rag against you and believe me they will cause this card is not stupid it looks awesome and i love its effect. When i sees this im not thinking of it as Ragnaros the firelord im thinking of it as a completely different Rag from a different wow universe that at the moment only exist in the minds of the creators of the wow universe and i love the wow universe and lore..but im also open minded to the thinking blizzard puts into its content for a lighthearted game like hearthstone that gets played in a tavern. Accept that or be sour every time you see this card.

Further proof Blizzard does not care about any lore whatsoever over the almighty dollar. Their merger with Activision really changed them as a company.

The rate at which blizzard is releasing cards now how long before they would have released every single material (character) from the wow lore if everything was original? 6-7 years? What do they do then make up characters or should they just stop releasing new content till wow gets more content? In a card game like this that is expanding so fast with a limited lore things has too be made up and used together with the original content from the lore so that the game can last longer. This is an interesting design on how blizzard think a different rag would look like and work and they should know they created the original rag.
I dont think i would want too play if all original content has been used and expansions has all made up stuff. So cards like this mixed with original lore cards is pretty much fine for me.
