I stopped playing the day Ashes of Outland released because it was clear that Hearthstone was heading for a nosedive. To no surprise, a lot of my friends stopped aswell. Some of them still play BG, but after they introduced that nasty, Call of Duty- looking pass system, I ditched it all together.
I come to Hearthpwn every now and then to see if anything changed, but to no surprise, the meta is stale as the first day of the expansion. DH is still very much alive and shutting down any fun people may have in their games. The only real viable deck for priest is STILL Ress priest (Don't tell me nothing aboult highlander priest. I am a priest main and know it all too well) and hunter still has 5 decks in tiers 1 and 2.
I thought picking up another card game but the truth is Hearthstone is far and away the most polished one so I guess I'll stick with singleplayer games again because I simply cannot enjoy HS anymore.
Lol DH players, the one class that dethroned hunter as the one requiring 0 braincells to pilot, crying about a spell literally never played until the last few days.
Another cancerous Ress Priest deck I don't even know how you guys can pride yourself on calling them your own decks with just while literally changing 1 or 2 cards.
I am a Warrior/Priest main and I miss playing control warrior. Galakrond Warrior was fun for like 2 hours and then I got sick because it's just facehunter in disguise. With the loss of Dr. Boom and Omega Asembly I just can't see how control warrior can be a thing.
I saw Regis try Bulwark Warrior but if that ever gets near playability people wil start running oozes and/or that pirate that STEALS YOUR WEAPON and it's GG.
The sole problem with the lack of creativity is the accesibility of netdecks. I remember when I first started actively playing. I played C'thun Priest and C'thun Warrior. I had NO CLUE that there are decks online you can actually just copypaste and voila! I never escaped rank 15 with those decks, true- but I remember enjoying every game and LOVING every victory because that was solely mine.
People would still in due time figure out the strongest cards, but nearly every deck would have something unique to it and that alone would make every encounter exciting.
Nowadays when I see Tyrande I know they won't play shit for the first 4 turns, play Infiltrator, and Psychopomp after Infiltrator dies and there goes any fun one could hope to have in that duel.
Blizzard made another braindead decision with not moving Whizzbang to Classic. He was no threat for future card designs now, was he? That would be the ideal way to try out many different deck archetypes and kinda see what you dig the most. But I guess we can't have nice things.
Man I am SO looking forward to Ress Priest getting the slammed by some fat nerfs. It's not overpowered, it just syphons the fun out of every encounter.
OP has a legit point. These "lol stop whining" are just miserable creatures. Their highlight of the week is to invade a thread where someone criticizes Blizzard so they could comment "lol git gut/ you salty" and feel.. what? Mature? Level-headed? F*ck off you boring twats.
On the DH note, I completely agree. I had 0 fun on day 1. 70% of the DH set is simply broken. Totally broken. These rainbowheads can't balance shit. I am this angry because it's rotation time and I really looked forward to it and they totally blew everyones day 1 experience. Except neckbeards who played DH all day long.
I'm just astonished at how incomepetent the developer team is. From the very first reveal EVERYONE AND THEIR MOTHERS knew that DH will be op and that literally 70% of the cards need a nerf. But yeah. Let's ruin Day 1 through 7.
I am a fully f2p player since 2015 and have been dusting wild cards since the introduction of the Standard format. It is quite simple. If you, as a f2p player, want to have formidable collection of cards- then you should keep them. But if you do so you will be heavily restricted with the cards you can play in standard because you will be missing a lot of resources. I personally believe the people when they say Wild is fun but for me that is and will forever be a secondary mode which does not interest me. So my 2 cents on this is- as a f2p player, the best way to enjoy HS is to dust everything you don't need.

Not the best place to be in.

As I main warrior and priest, I craft all of their new cards every xpac and hope that someone smarter than me will come up with an idea.

I can't wait for Blizzards response. What sorry excuses will they come up with this time? It's always so exciting.
