Save gold for the adventure. After it drops, wait to see what the cards are like. Then decide whether to buy all, or some, wings, or craft the cards you need (if there aren’t many important ones) and buy packs.
Crafting the adventure cards won't be an option if history is an indicator, the cards will be locked behind the paywall. Still, it should be overall good value, even if it's underwhelming.
Like we get nerfs after A WEEK, and they still complain.
The nerfs were not adequate, and I think you haven't been paying attention to how the meta has developed, the game is seriously unbalanced and needs a BIG retuning to be respectable again, which didn't come close to happening with the nerfs. But sure, go all toxic poster and say it's just impatience and complaining, which is in essence the most basic and simple opinion to have.
Shaman is far from obliterated. That thread title is exaggerated.
We all got Jebaited thinking some kind of meaningful change was in the pipe, so I can at least understand people are confused. As a Rogue player it just makes me sad that tons of people will play the class only to take advantage of obviously broken synergies, but that's the state of the game.
Is that it? The problem With this deck is that you could play fully invoked Galakrond on turn 7. Now it can take you 1-2 more turns, and thats a big deal. And will also be harder to snowball With evolve now. I think Blizz did a great job!
Those nerfs count as a great job? I'm not trying to call you out personally, but objectively I can't see how great is justified, at all. This is a deck that has dominated the Wild meta immediately upon impact, these are not the changes that will shift a deck down a meta tier, it's just window dressing. Also the Mogu change could be construed as a buff in some instances, is that also great?
It will still be a staple in several classes, especially Rogue. Rogue can't even afford to NOT play this card, despite the nerf, cause how else will they clear a board?
So Corrupt Elementalist is just delayed a turn basically, you can still get 32/32 of stats if you choose, or just a measly 16/16 and again with Shudderwock. Nothing done to the 5 mana 10/12, yeah it will come down a turn later, will that make a big difference? I've been one of the biggest proponents that the nerfs wouldn't solve the fundamental issues with the game, and I've been proven correct. It's Mean Streets of Gadgetzen all over again, help us all.
Also I'm still running Faceless Corruptor in every one of my rogue decks, still an insane card at 5 mana.
I hope the dildo hammer is so big and hide nobody will dare touch a shaman deck until the next expansion
I will do, if that makes you cry everytime on a public forum. Have some respect for yourself and git gud
oh look, the net decking "git gud" guy rofl
Ut, oh, one of the loons who hangs out in the Salt thread just escaped.
That's cool 'n all, but when someone says git gud it's not hard to distinguish whatever opinion they have is only a thinly veiled troll, that's all. It's transparent my dude, and the majority can see through your little act, and subsequently assume your opinions are just more trolls.
To be honest, it's bad design for hearthstone to have a strict tutor, but there are MANY examples of specific synergistic tutors, in fact there's at least 1 each expansion amongst the classes. So it's already in the game, rejoice!
Actually there is a card that draws one specific card: Kronx Dragonhoof
Still a synergistic tutor, in fact it's the definition of one. Also I agree with TheArcanist, the logistics of letting you pick one specific card in your deck is not feasible at all on mobile, and cumbesome at best for PC/etc. Also Zephyrs in theory is kinda that card, so yeah, for all intensive purposes it already exists as much as it ever will.
You can't beat the tempo of Galakrond Shaman, so it has distorted the meta around it. Things will somewhat normalize but to what extent is unknown, and quite frankly given the track record of years of balancing, I don't have my hopes up. Props if you do, but you're not living in reality.

No one's going to miss one of the most broken decks of all time, except apologists of the deck, which you clearly are; in other words your opinion is worthless because of your bias, which is a shame when you can't have a POSSIBLITY as a meaningful discussion simply because people can't get their head out of their ass to think critically.
Lol, seems not so long ago when Shaman was completely unplayable. Now all the sudden it went from Warriorstone to Shamanstone, and people want to kill the class completely.
While this round of nerfs is definitely warranted. I find most calls for nerfs come from folks that are butt hurt the deck they love running and winning with becomes a complete loser.
Guaranteed. Soon after the Shaman nerf hits. There will be a new call for nerfs to the next deck that takes over the ladder by a fresh crop of butt hurt players. It never ends.
It never ends, but it's necessary, so your point is completely redundant. You say you agree to the nerfs, but complain people will replace said broken deck with another. That WILL happen, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be fixed IMMEDIATELY, and it also doesn't invalidate opinions that there might be another broken, unfun, imbalanced, uninteractive deck. Like maybe I see this wrong but your opinion just comes off as mean spirited, just so you can call out "people" for pointing out obviously unfun and imbalanced. You don't seem to understand how balancing works, or you are the one frustrated about this whole thing since you have immediately taken a confrontational position.
Its fun as hell, no slow booring warriors in sight. Fast games fast gold.
I think everyone can agree this type of thinking is toxic, as it has no consideration for the other player, in other words if they are having fun. That is the whole point of hearthstone, despite what the tryhards will try to make you believe to justify their own existence; most people play for fun. If they really screw the pooch any further they risk alienating those people completely, hell they're alienating the hardcores who normally live for this OP shit, casuals will just leave and not come back, and quite frankly I wouldn't blame them, investing money in hearthstone is not worth it anymore; it's necessary but not worth it.
The fact is most people have no idea how to evaluate cards, because it requires considering contingencies and synergies most people are unaware of, simply because they're ignorant and refuse to actually learn about the game. It did give me a good laugh when it was said that the shaman galakrond is dead on arrival.
