Either something that has a strong chance of surviving 1 turn, or a deathrattle minion that will still contribute to the board should the minion be killed. The stickiness refers to its abiity to stay on the board for a full turn.
Would this ever see play in odd or Keleseth decks?
Keleseth decks traditionally run enough minions to make spell synergy underwhelming, it's excluded to combo activators, in which there are better activators to use. Odd decks are pure aggro so I doubt there will ever be spell synergy since it really doesn't need it to be effective.
Y'all ever play Lyra Priest, where Lyra is the win-condition? This is INSANE in that, 2/2 body is not terrible, and you get the banana's right away. Do not sleep on this card, there are lot's of uses for 1 mana spells that could be strong, if not potentially broken.
Thanks to this card pirate rogue doesn't HAS to be even(it's more consistent but this is a good option)
you run 2 of this, kingsbane and pirates, it's really good with the ticket guy.
Tempo Kingsbane is a deck close to viability, this was the last piece to make the strong tempo plays more impactful to allow Kingsbane value to win. I'm stunned that it even has the extra text, 1/3 weapon would have been enough I think. Potentially meta defining, but they didn't make enough pirates, so it'll be a mish-mash of stuff, as it should be.
Helps counter Zilliax value, which seemingly more decks run. That alone makes it 3/5, with Lich King rotating it'll lose some luster in standard, course that's remedied by new taunt minions entering the meta, which is a foregone conclusion. Very strong card.
3-6 stats is inbetween 4-5 mana, so it's balanced stat wise; 1 damage to all synergizes with pretty much everything warrior, if you need dragons, and you have the new 3 mana execute epic, this could be a core card. Decent stats, good effect, synergizes with your strategy, 4/5 for warrior.
... Is this actually so good, huh? Say opponent plays 1-drop like a 2-1 and a 2-drop like a 2-3. You play this weapon on turn 1 and hero power on turn 2 and clear both minions.
Opponent loses 1 card, you lose 8 health. 8 health for 1 card is a pretty good deal for many decks.
Excellent analysis, now if you wanted to dive into the scenario's where this basically wins you the game, this becomes a core card in odd pally, both now and for the next rotation. Simply absurd weapon for one of the strongest aggro archetypes the game has ever seen.
Zerek's Cloning Gallery pulling those three minions + Radiant Elemental = 52 damage 10 mana OTK: 2 * Regenerate (32 damage) plus one mana left for 1 * Mind Blast (20 damage).
Big Combo Priest is going to be nuts.
That's totally not how Malygos works, he just gives you spell damage which does not affect healing quantities. Velen on the other hand does have the "double healing" on its text so it would work.
It still gives you 12 extra damage but you would need to cut 3 cards to include the Auchenai Regenerate combo and I don't think gallery priest can afford that.
"Spell damage" means "spells that deal damage." Auchenai Soulpriest reads, "Your cards and powers that restore health now deal damage instead." This is exactly how Maly + Auchenai + healing spell works.
Kaladin is right, just in case some poor soul thinks what Mackie said is how it works.
I've been trying to make it work in Wild, I agree with both Geist being a hard counter, and that Burgly Bully is mandatory (which makes not getting the coin from it very frustrating). I think Time Out has serious potential, but it's matchup dependant which means it could fall off the meta radar; if Big Priest keeps its current numbers, or even goes up, there's a place for this deck, because it does have other strong matchups, and is hella fun to play.
Holy crap this is garbage. 8 mana 6/3. Wow. Man rogues are getting crap yet again. O wait we can this with the dumb shark and have 9/5 that gets silenced woohoo.
Here's the mistake you made Liam3Bucks, your two examples are LATEGAME cards, in CONTROL decks. Now look at Hooktusk, if it can't be played in Kingsbane (the only "viable" rogue control deck), what kind of viability in constructed formats will Hooktusk have? It's so unlikely it makes your comparisons ridiculous...like comparing Captain Greenskin with Alexstraza.

They pulled the ol' bait and switch by showing us a pirate first and giving us hope.

After all the UI's and Branching Paths, glad that this is gonna be one of your strongest cards this expansions druids. Feelsgoodman.

With Saronite Chain Gang alone that's insane value...

So many applications, value or tempo, it'll miss Radiant Elemental when it rotates, but until then this could be a real beast of a card.
