Haha, this is way over the top, and I speak as one who "rage adds" people all the time. If someone playing a couple extra cards before killing you or emoting or whatever is enough to send you into a giant fit of rage, judging people to be douchebags and sociopaths, while simultaneously calling it a silly childen's card game. . . well, I hate to say it man, but the problem is clearly on your (my) end. We have an entire world of people judging everything everyone else does, and if they dislike or misunderstand it, well. . . "douchebag" or "racist" or "moron" or "asshole", etc etc. You're not different, and no better, than anyone else. I take no pride in my fits of stupid rage over losing games, and it's certainly no mark of superiority.

Have no illusions, Activision Blizzard FOR SURE is getting the better end of the deal in the long run or they would not make this radical change in the first place. I bet this kind of business model is the most profitable on the market right now. Do not eat all this mumbo jumbo about you benefiting from a change a heavily profit-oriented company is making. Think for yourselves.
this, I did not read through the whole thing, but my first thought was 'such naivity..."
@OP: there is a business side to any gaming company and they tend to make these decisions, as opposed to game designers, balance team, etc. These people have to propose the shareholders how they will grow profits this year. This is how they will do it.
They are not spending time and resources to "repackage your rewards", the sole purpose is money. Any system that will be put in place will be designed to extract more cash from players. The reason why there is a survey is to find out how far they can go with it without losing a large amount of players.

icy133_ posted a message on I Am Disappointed in the Hearthpwn CommunityPosted in: General DiscussionI want to start off by saying that I love Hearthstone. It’s fun, causal, and had a lot of strategy that it quite enjoyable. Hearthpwn is a great site. It has amazing articles to outline important updates and an EXCELLENT card release overview that is updated on time.I joined the community back in the release of the grand tournament (so quite a while ago) and loved it.Recently though I have noticed an numerous amount of posts that have been mainly complaining that have seemed illegitimate, I understand them being opinionated, but the amount of the same child like drones, and I find it repetitive considering the improvement coming from blizzard.Nerfs in the far past were so distant that they were rare and unexpected (I’m sure many remember). However, ever since Raz Rumble it has been consistent and very helpful. The meta has seemed fun and more engaging and less boring than in the past thanks to Blizzard’s thankless efforts. When I say thankless I mean it. Especially from the community, the amount of excitement has dwindled and the complaints (unfounded in my opinion)/angry posts have risen dramatically. Now to the reason I posted this I’m the first place starts from the recent survey on a proposed progression change in hearthstone. Battle pass as it proposed is both free to play and payed, with payed also confirmed as merely cosmetic (hero skins, coin skins). This concept was confirmed by game director Ben Lee as works and progression and merely a proposal to the community, the players on this site were no happy. Many accusations were thrown in of Blizzard being greedy and threats of quoting when it was merely a survey sent out by Blizzard. ItThen comes the post on Hearthpwn by Ben Lee about said battle pass reiterating that it was merely a survey. He also says “To repack, not reduce” The amount of gold players earn. He talks about making the game more affordable and allow a more open experience. All good things right? No no, first comments are steaming, saying that “they are taking away our gold“, “with all due respect, f*ck you blizzard.” And “the game is over.”I respond, quite pissed, explaining how it seemed no one had read the post how everything stated as shown #1 this is not a final or even considered system to be implemented, #2 they are not taking away or lowering gold earnings, in fact they confirmed that there will be more gold earnings! That post got disliked so much that it has been hidden on the post. That fact that this community has begun so butt hurt and toxic to the point where anyone rightfully praises blizzard for their progress has been shut down is disgraceful. Keep in mind, I do not believe the whole Hearthpwn community is this misguided, and I also thing the Hearthpwn site operators are to blame (on the contrary). I also did not make this post purely because I got downvoted but more to the response of this community to every innovation from Blizzard. This kind of behavior is disappointing and is showing to blizzard that we are not be consulted with when they develop new ideas. We need to stop that. Understand that you must read the WHOLE post before posting comments, and understand that Blizzard has been improving drastically in their efforts towards the community. -

Warnerve75 posted a message on Deck with highest SkillcapPosted in: General Discussionhearthstone is a game of answers...if your opponent doesn't have the answer he loses. its a 30 card game with 2 card duplicates so you really have a 15 card game. Skill in this game is simple memory of the cards and what can be played to answer your board state. If memorizing cards is a skill so is wiping my a$$ without getting $hit on my hand
skill is dropping a target at 100 yards while it's running using a lever-action 30-30 with a boresight.
skill in hearthstone is a tad above rolling dice...
stop fooling yourself into thinking you need more than 3 brain cells to be good at this game and stop trying to validate your genius by being good at it because all you accomplish is making yourself look like a fool.

Evil_B posted a message on Group therapy! Need to blow off steam? Mega salty? Here is the place! V2Posted in: General DiscussionJust had a thread removed and I was given a warning against talking about things that we all know are true but can't say here or in the Blizzard forum. I was literally told that my posts were "not constructive"as opposed to super constructive posts like "Fuck Druid" and "secret mage players should kill themselves". The agenda here is clear. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.
Even though "methinks thou dost protest too much", you moderators won't have any more problems from me. I'll stick to constructive topics like profanity and death threats.

Once you played Priest Galakrond, you became a priest, and would be able to discover priest stuff.

On the new board, it has the effect of adding a dual class card to your hand, but since the scholomance cards aren't out yet, it just does nothing and ends up being a 2/2.

I do find it strange that they added the Libram archetype and did nothing with it. Hell we didnt even get a Libram legendary which i thought was strange as well. They introduced pure Paladin but havent followed up with that either. Both archetypes are seeing a lot of play and have pretty high win rates yet get no attention. I agree 100% either Blizzard doesnt know what to do with Paladin or they simply dont care.

Kibler burns one card on a livestream now all we get is Kripp. Not only is he boring but the guy doesn’t even play contructed or even arena where u would see these cards. Idk what kind of set up Kripp has with Bli$$ard but its time to let someone with personality help reveal these cards.

Maybe im just garbage at this game but ive been struggling to win with this deck. Most decks seem to beat me down before i can properly develop a board. And if u dont draw that one Overflow theres no coming back.

Usually around this time Blizzard would have dropped some huge balance changes to shake up the meta, but we’ve gotten nothing. Yes the decks you can play are varied, however the decks are still the same, with the occasional switch of one or two cards.
Highlander Hunter (which has been a Tier one deck for months now), Spell/Dragon Druid, Gally/Stealth Rogue, Highlander/No minion mage, Tempo DH, Rez Priest, Pirate Warrior. Im even seeing quest warlock come back (but its not like thats a new deck, people just realized you can use busted Malygos). Im sure im missing a deck or 2 but the point still stands. I love the diversity but when the same decks have existed for months and have barely even moved in Tiers, thats a problem and leads for a very stale and boring climb & experience

Netdecks in ranked, netdecks in casual. Does anyone actually play unique decks or is everyone glued to HSreplay constantly refreshing the site and jerking off to every little meta change?????

Plus he gets to shit on newer players who arent very good and ruin their experience for the easy youtube views

I would change the wording from "at the end of your turn" to "at the start of your turn". That would be a solid nerf. Still powerful for 7 mana but gives the enemy player a chance to react.

if u play tier one decks in casual you are a garbage human being. That is all
