Kibler burns one card on a livestream now all we get is Kripp. Not only is he boring but the guy doesn’t even play contructed or even arena where u would see these cards. Idk what kind of set up Kripp has with Bli$$ard but its time to let someone with personality help reveal these cards.
Maybe im just garbage at this game but ive been struggling to win with this deck. Most decks seem to beat me down before i can properly develop a board. And if u dont draw that one Overflow theres no coming back.
Hunter is definitely gonna dominate the Meta for the next few weeks until the new expansion comes out. Dragonqueen Alexstraza wasnt really that much of an important piece in Highlander Hunter. Most games are pretty much decided by turn 7 or 8 anyway. At that stage of the game, most times youre just finishing off your opponent. Not look for any swing potentials.
Usually around this time Blizzard would have dropped some huge balance changes to shake up the meta, but we’ve gotten nothing. Yes the decks you can play are varied, however the decks are still the same, with the occasional switch of one or two cards.
Highlander Hunter (which has been a Tier one deck for months now), Spell/Dragon Druid, Gally/Stealth Rogue, Highlander/No minion mage, Tempo DH, Rez Priest, Pirate Warrior. Im even seeing quest warlock come back (but its not like thats a new deck, people just realized you can use busted Malygos). Im sure im missing a deck or 2 but the point still stands. I love the diversity but when the same decks have existed for months and have barely even moved in Tiers, thats a problem and leads for a very stale and boring climb & experience
Netdecks in ranked, netdecks in casual. Does anyone actually play unique decks or is everyone glued to HSreplay constantly refreshing the site and jerking off to every little meta change?????
I did notice that there wasnt a big mid expansion balance change, which usually comes out around this time to shake up the meta. Thats probably why a lot of people, including the OP, have been complaining that the meta is boring or stale.
I do agree that the Meta is a little stagnant at the moment, but there are a lot of other options. Arena, BG, wild, (im not gonna say casual cause thats basically ranked simulator lol)
Lackey's that discover need to be changed to random card generation. Too many times Rogues have pulled answers out there ass because of Lackeys or discovered insane dragons like DragonQueen Alex because their lackey gave them that choice. Making the lackeys give random cards lower the consistency and overall power level
Yet i went on a win streak from Diamond 10 to Diamond 5 using only Secret Galakrond Rogue, which is a deck that probably has the most RNG besides Mage. Being unlucky doesnt equate to rigged.
I usually just damage them and push through. Any card theyre using to heal is a card theyre not using to develop their board. Usually by the time their quest gets activated their health would be too low for it to provide any significant value.
I would change the wording from "at the end of your turn" to "at the start of your turn". That would be a solid nerf. Still powerful for 7 mana but gives the enemy player a chance to react.
I mean competitive is a place where you’re supposed to take strong decks and beat other strong decks. If u wanna have pure fun play casual. (I’m having a great time with Odd Mage win or lose). But u cant take a tier 3 deck with a 43% win rate and expect to win 100% of the time. (Just spitballing random numbers)
Now if you were arguing casual then yea id agree. I hate seeing odd pally & odd rogue in casual. You can still play fun decks on ladder, but u cant go in expecting everyone else to have the same mindset as you especially when most people are trying to climb. And its hard to climb with a heavy rng deck.

They have to be China friendly, so Bli$$ard can keep those international dollars flowing in.
