I appreciate the response, but it wasn’t very productive either way. The solution I’m offering is one that should be appealing to both players and blizzard as it doesn’t have to hurt their bottom dollar. If anything people might waste more dust crafting Golden cards. Thus resulting in more pack purchases.
I’m sure that I’m not the first to bring this up, but since Blizzard is really set on fixing Hearthstone and drawing people back. Something simple I think that can go a long way to fixing some of the HS economy is fixing the gold craft/DE dust amounts.
Is it fair that crafting a legendary costs 1600, and a golden legendary 3200? Sure, it’s not ideal as a player, but it’s a standard I think everyone has accepted. What I would like to see fixed is the fact that a common costs 40 dust to craft, but 400 dust for a golden? 10x the price of the card, and if you dust one you only get 1/8th of how much it would cost? Shouldn’t it still be 2x the cost of non golden? I believe that’s way more fair. Again, regular rares cost 100 dust to craft, but if you want a golden rare it’ll cost you 800 dust, or 8x more. And if you dust one you only get the 100 dust. Epics cost 400, and 1600 respectively still a 4x increase.
i know Blizzard’s logic is to keep the dust economy in their favor like a casino because of all the “free” Golden’s they give out each month as rewards that didn’t generate any direct cash flow for them. The reality is Blizzard can not win players back to the game without first realizing they must correct the most obvious and unnecessary grabs for money.
TLDR, balance the dust economy to be healthier for players, thus encouraging more regular play. Golden card crafts should always be double dust cost and no more.
Make sure your computer meets the system requirements on the .NET page. Install Windows Updates until you no longer have any, then try again. Windows 7 is absolutely supported, but must be a minimum of SP1.
Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound He's Ancient, He's Green, he has a relation to the famously nerfed Yogg-Saron, Hope's End. You certainly never want to avoid top decking him for his cost but instead tutor/recruit him from a deck. Oh and if you've played against a priest at least twice ever, you've seen this card lol.
The reality is any changes to a card good or bad can still affect the way a card is played in decks and should warrant a refund of dust. Considering how few of cards get changed within each meta (3-5 max) I don’t think Blizzard is losing out on much at all by providing full refunds.
Perhaps, if they ever release the correct version of Crowley that should have been printed it’ll read “Summon 6 Crowley Bots” and the Crowley Bots will be mechs that read “Rush, For each minion killed by Crowley Bot, give Darius Crowley +2/+2 wherever he is”.
You are so right! Blizzard should fix their mistake.
1 month later: Darius Crowley received a new artwork to make sure he doesn’t look like a mech ;)
+1 Agree the Art doesn’t embody the character enough. I read somewhere if you get golden Darius Crowley as your very first legendary in an account, the golden version shows his mechanical components hiding under the faux fur.
For those of you who may not have noticed, Darius Crowley appears to be a mech in wolf’s clothing. The eye patch is a dead giveaway, and it couldn’t be clearer since the new mech announcements in Boomsday.
Who here thinks Team5 should do the right thing like they did for Ixlid, Fungal Lord and adjust his card to match his tribe of Mech! (Wanted to put a poll for fun, but not showing as an option on mobile site?)
PS: if you don’t have a sense of humor please don’t respond.
PS PS: A Mech in Wolf’s Clothing - sounds like a great future hunter card.
How do you know a streamer is getting a legendary in their first 10 packs? Do you know what their pity timer for that set was currently at? Also, you can get a legendary every 1 pack if you're lucky enough. Unless you know their exact pity timer your guess is sorta useless. Also, if it is a brand new account with no pity timer yet then the 10 packs is expected
I have been a huge blizzard fan since 1994 when I was in the 2nd grade and played the original Warcraft for the first time. Since then I have greatly enjoyed each and every title and universe of games over the years. With that said the Blizzard and Activision merger was indeed a travesty to the game community, and very few people besides the executives have seen actual benefit. Still I can’t help but wonder why this is even apart of your argument? The merger happened 11 years ago, before Hearthsfone even existed.... I get it they’re greedy SOBs. But hearthstone always will be an Activision Blizzard title.
If by very few people you mean everyone who believed in Blizzard enough to invest. That merger has made quite a few people who have never worked for either company very wealthy. And who knows if (insert Blizzard title here) would even exist as an ongoing IP today without it.
As to the OP, yes, I am still willing to pay money for this game. I'm always appreciative when they give full refunds (and VERY appreciative when they double refund the HoF), but that's a far cry from pretending they have a legal obligation to do so.
First of all I made it clear the Blizzard merger did indeed make the already fortunate more fortunate including stock holders... Secondly, Blizzard did not need any sort of merger in 2007. You can say anything you want about any intellectual property not existing without a merger, but in 2007 World of Warcraft was already reaching it's peak subscribers at a cost of $15 a month... if anyone had anything to gain it was Activision, not Blizzard. Nice alternative facts Trump
Since Hearthstone is becoming more expensive, I certainly would love to try other games to fill my time. Can you tell us what the expected cost of the average player is compared to Hearthstone? I know you mentioned it is a one time purchase, but for each expansion as well? No loot boxes at all? Any plans on this changing down the road?
It is indeed Charged Hammer. Slow because it takes 4 attacks to break to gain the death rattle. The windfury was a hint to Doomhammer which people often find better for just 1 mana more. And of course the deathrattle replacing hero power. Fun little weapon, but wayyyy to slow to use successfully.

It is quite interesting to see all the people posting “he’s a pirate” because they didn’t even make it through the OP.

Magnetic Buffs like all buffs are not retained after death, unless otherwise noted. Which is why the paladins new Legendary spell notes just that.
