I would recommend starting with the core Warrior classic cards: Shield Slam, Brawl. From there, probably Harrison or Reckless Flurry - Harrison has become less useful after the nerfs, but he has the benefits of not rotating out and can be used in multiple decks. Darius is currently more useful than Geddon, especially if you have Town Crier (though Geddon won't rotate out if that's important for you).
Sorry this is late, but it would probably be best to remove Ysera/Alexstrasza and try to add the Town Crier/Rush package since it's super useful vs Paladin and good against Spiteful Druid.
You can try replacing Elise with Ysera/Azalina/Faceless Manipulator and Mosh with Big Game Hunter/Mind Control Tech/Voodoo Doll. One Ooze is probably enough and Tinkmaster isn't core - look through the tech cards and see which ones you have/are useful against which decks you're seeing. Good luck!
The rush package is often useful just because it provides extra cycle with Town Crier, and can also be used as removal. Your list seems top heavy in my opinion, but I guess it depends on what matchups you're seeing
Thanks for the feedback! I considered Alexstrasza as a solid defensive toll - she's not a bad option. I like Voodoo Doll for more consistency dealing with Mountain Giants or other big threats (Tyrantus from Spiteful or Crystal Lion/Tirion), but it's not core. An extra Owl is for sure a good choice too.
Ah, gotcha. Yeah, Town Crier late game feels pretty bad, but he pretty much wins aggro matchups single-handedly (plus the extra cycle is super relevant). At least he can serve as a Brawl body in the lategame or be dumped without using too much mana. Feels a lot like Arcanologist for Ice Block in Control Mage.
Good points - the deck is definitely teched more to beat aggro/midrange decks since Faceless is a lot less useful against baku pally/rogue/hunter. If the meta slows down, I can definitely see cutting Gluttonous Ooze and the rush package for Faceless/Azalina/2nd Gorehowl/etc.
Lol, thanks for catching that! I'll remove it from the recommendations haha.
I found Countess Ashmore useful for improving deck consistency with the extra cycle, but she definitely can be awkward sometimes. If you cut her for a second Owl, what card did you replace with Tinkmaster? I'm curious to see your list.
Definitely a good point with the Cornered Sentry off of Stonehill Defender - I'll add that to the matchup guide. Is Cube the main target for Faceless?
Yeah, I started the season with Baku Quest Warrior, but didn't find the quest as useful as I thought it would be and ended up tossing it out of my opening hand in a lot of different matchups.
I messed around with TInkmaster (love the card, haha) a lot before the Witchwood came out, and he definitely won some games vs Warlock. If I start seeing more Hadronox Druid, I'm definitely going to include him. Would love to hear your feedback after a few games!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but that seems to be the obvious difference for me, thought I may have missed something if Control had changed his list.
Arguably, the Val'anyr gains more value here because of the potential synergy with Leeroy Jenkins, by cutting out a Keeper of Uldaman, but it is sacrificing a turn 4 play to do so. I can't say for certain how much more of an impact this has on the deck's curve. However, it does add more explosive potential to closing out the game.

Sorry for the late reply; I wouldn't recommend Ashmore anymore - try Mind Control Tech or an extra Ironbeak Owl/Gorehowl.

glad you're enjoying it!

Agreed, haha. You could make a decent list that cuts out several of the legendaries (Elise, Countess, and Mosh would be at the top of the list).

Thanks, and good luck!

Interesting idea! If I had Zola I would try it out... let us know how it goes!

I believe the only difference here is that Control ran 2 Keeper of Uldaman, and this list is -1 Keeper of Uldaman +1 Leeroy Jenkins

Definitely better than the Knights of the Frozen Throne version!
