posted a message on Can Hearthstone compete with the Pokemon rage?

I prefer hearthstone. I've played a lot more mon than HS as well, but I just prefer this game really. pokemon has been around forever and the game really are not any different from the very first ones, albeit a few features here and there.

breeding your own mons and fighting real people is the main draw, but you have to play through the piss-poor campaign first pretty much unless you gen your mons or get into trading via a forum or already have them from previous games etc... it's a good game and I'm not saying it's bad at all as the multiplayer is gold, I just prefer hearthstone personally!

I also think pokemon go is a dangerous really. I know it's the stupid people using it, but this had to be factored in when they created it!?

all just my opinion, not speaking for anyone other than myself here!

amazing.. I just faced something very similar before, had some weird tricks. I'm not used to facing good locks that aren't zoo though, was not prepared for it at all.

posted a message on safe to dust, list!? (looking for some quick advice, please)
    Quote from Sparhawk >>

Fair enough, as a sales man I deal with this quite often, you need to have information from the customer to really be able to give them a qualified pitch suited to them.

I would stick with your plan as such based on that latest information. As for what to dust, I personally wouldn't dust anything for cthun cards full stop. Your plan is tempo so just tinker and have fun for a bit, in the meantime you can at least try cards you might dust and get some fun out of it in your friendly games etc. I have both hoggers and won't dust them, but i'm in a position where I have all the tier decks and 7k+ dust so it's different.

I think once you have your adventures play through those and use some of the cards you are considering dusting, having some fun and learning why they are not competitive right now has a lot more value than just dusting without ever trying them. You could also watch some streamers that play decks you are interested vods if nothing else, hotform plays a version of tempo.

Another thing to keep in mind is there are usually a few variations on each type of tier / net deck pre standard there were 3 distinct versions of tempo mage and 2 distinct versions of freeze, it varies by meta. The other thing is tournament tuned decks during stuff like blizz events or starladder etc are a different beast than lists composed for ladder, so this can lead to false starts and dead ends in your crafting.

When there are different versions of tier decks you usually will have to play the variations to know what you want to play most, so you should prioritize your crafts based on how essential they are and the cost, a legend being missing and substituted often doesn't impact your win rate as much as some other cards, so you can often play a build that is not the voltron 5 version but still very good. I played a second account with zoo and made 5 with a non "best" version list. I had a plan I picked a version and I got to the end point with it, I learned the value of alternative cards to imp gang boss as it took me a bit of time to open the wing on f2p. This is a valuable exercise even for a veteran and opening the collection and seeing what is available that you can use without crafting and what the best option for crafting are can be very valuable especially if you ever want to be able to make decks yourself or tech cards in existing decks for shifting meta.

But your new, so tinker enjoy the game, don't craft dust stuff till your ready for phase 1 of your tempo if that is where you want to start.

If you want you can add me my hs id is posted.

For crafting DE etc I would stick to the actual tier list threads versus random advice and as always each player is different in how they value things, for example I don't value gold cards some spend fortunes on them, some never de anything that is not a dup including gold it all depends. I can tell you the main tier list threads are constantly critiqued by the upper end players so you will generally get a better sense there than me saying keep hogger and the next guy saying dust hogger.

just keep in mind the cost for 20-40 packs and that is the cost of your legend, would you dust $20 for a $5 to buy pizza slice and a pop now? that is something worth thinking about. It also means in a way your rank rewards like rank 5 etc kind of have a monetary value if you think about it.

Good luck and have fun, just don't craft veklor, as cthun warrior / druid are a lot of dust otherwise your friend gave you solid advice.

thank you for the advice. with the dust I already have I might just get spells then for later like the epic ice one, that's pretty essential to a freeze deck. I put hogger in the list in place of one of my sorcerers. I think I'd like to get a doomcaller as well now hogger is my poor mans twin lords. The doomcaller seems like a decent card that could be used in other c'thun decks. I know those cards are not as good as regular ones though as at some point they will not be used any more. I should get some life out of it though.

will add you as well, yeah.

solid looking deck. I will build this next week when I get the expansions... I'm running a sort of c'thun hybrid at the minute, but I know I'm going to have to break away from that before long, would just like to get the deck as far as it can first.
