Do NOT buy this game. It is a very obvious scam. I refunded this after an hour. I paid almost $AU27 for this game, finished the 2 game tutorial vs bots and was told to claim my reward, 2 starter decks, 5 event tickets and some other stuff. At the very bottom in small print, the game tells you if you claim your starter items you give up your ability to refund the game. I declined claiming the items so that i could try the game out a bit first before deciding if i would commit.
And.... you are locked out of any social modes, competitive or casual until you claim your starting items and tell valve they can bend you over. Red flags.

Because all neutral cards should make sense in ANY class. Just like these great examples off good all-round neutral cards:
Captain Greenskin, Naga Corsair, Phantom Freebooter, Lightwarden, Secretkeeper, Avian Watcher, Blackwater Pirate, Bloodsail Corsair, Clockwork Automaton

Gwavana posted a message on The Deck i had most success with in current Standard MetaPosted in: General DiscussionQuote from iWatchUSleep >>Quote from iWatchUSleep >>You're dead wrong, it's not even funny. The fact that you think it's a better tool against hunters than odd paladin shows just how little you know.
Odd paladin doesn't work against mid hunters : secrets and springpaw destroys odd pally early game and then you're pretty much screwed. Only 3 people bring odd pally in HCT america, this must mean something.
Y-you're not actually comparing tournaments to ladder, are you? Oh lord...
What secretS exactly? The top lists run one or no explosive traps if that's what you're thinking.
And yeah hunters having to waste one of their cards from hand to clear a hero power definitely destroys paladin early.
OKay, I realise that you're too rude and aggressive to be worth talking with, but I'll answer anyway :
1 - yes I compare tournament to ladder cause in current tournaments 80% of the players are playing hunters, so bringing a deck that beat them is a good idea. Odd pally would be played if it was a counter to hunters, period. People prefer OTK pally, and it's not because OTK pally is better against priest, believe me. :)
2 - what secrets? explosive, wandering, freezing, snake trap. add in the early game beasts and you'll have no issue (given the fact that hunter obliterate odd pally in mid game) But maybe you didn't hear about this archetype : check @wirer_HS 's list, he finished #1 legend last season.
3 - side note : the basic of odd decks is to weaken your deck in exchange of a stronger hero power. If your hero power is denied you're in trouble, especially with odd pally whose very goal is to flood the board and get the temp advantage. Remember that nowadays vinecleaver + level up is not available any more so if you don't have the board at turn 5 as an odd pally, things are looking grim for you.
4 - If you're not convinced, I don't really care, I haven't lost a single game vs odd paladin with hunter on my way to legend, so it will take more than your aggressivity and lack of education to make me change my mind.

If you violate rules, you get a warning, but violating rules is not a condition for a thread to get locked.

RavenSunHP posted a message on Barnes needs and can be nerfed in a healthy wayPosted in: Card DiscussionI don't think barnes can be nerfed without killing the archetype big priest was fine when you were able to summon minions once or twice it wasn't very consistent and it was a fun deck but blizzard gave every tool it needed to be a monster
Drawing barnes isn't consistent enough here have Shadow Essence so you can cheat out more minions
If your oppenent is still alive after waves 8 drops Lesser Diamond Spellstone will surely make them concede
Resurrect wasn't enough so have targeted ressurect so you can always ressurect Obsidian Statue Eternal Servitude
Big Priest has never been fine.
It apparently became fine when it turned to Wild, and the vast majority of players forgot about it.
I really don't see the difference between old Naga decks and current Big Priest: both highroll, both with class-dependent specific counters.
As of the OP: text is what matters. What is broken in Big Priest is that it can cheat out broken texts. You could still resurrect broken texts after silence (just trade). Sure, weaker bodies, but texts are enough to turn the game.
Barnes should simply cost (6) exactly like Shadow Essence.

It's like Kabal Crystal Runner, only not dependant on secrets and instant instead of cumulative. I like 5/5 more than 4/4 though, but not a bad card nonetheless.

Hi N'Zoth's First Mate, hi Patches the Pirate! Goodbye N'Zoth's First Mate, goodbye Patches the Pirate! Finallly, we make it past turn 6, go team! ;)

Let this synergise with their deathknight, otherwise you can only drop it in controlpriest with a semifull hand and like 6 cards in each players decks... Hmm they must have a still hidden agenda for creating this...right? pls say i'm right ;)

It seems quite logical that they're introducing "lifesteal" with the coming of the deathknights. It's healing prolonges the game enough for the deathknights to become active on the board. Also i see alot more of the trade mechanics like tokens and revive options. I think they want to balance things out by pushing away the turn 6 winner facedecks a bit. Maybe things will get interesting and more formats can be played again. Also i think people should stop hoping for the next OTK card, as this game is much more fun without 6 or 7 playable and ranking standard decks. Sofar so good Blizzard...

Yeah, i know ;) The point of the pun was that a polymorphed lyra can't come back a second or third time as they can choose now, at least IF you polymorph it on the first cast.

Hopefully they made a 2 mana 2/3 battlecry neutral card "defrost your minions" oh well maybe yet to be revealed... ;)

And a lifesteal minion and ur set ;)

Well i think you're exaggerating a bit, besides the current midsummer festival that's giving double coins, blizzard has been most forthcoming in its last updates, handing out dust for the legendaries that have been demoted to the hall of fame, or giving us c'thun. By the time this expansion comes out i will have so much coin to spend for a good start, as will many a f2p player and which i have been except for most of the adventures that came out. Being good with your coin will get you a long way too , as even a good arena player will have provide a decent advantage. What i don't get is that i see many people complaining about a series that hasn't even come out or proven itself. But you don't need to spend hundreds of pounds, euro's or any other coin to be decent at this game and that's a fact. #kappa

Thanks for the comment Locke37. I use the resurrects because you can get your 1/3 healer (carddraw) or your Hobgoblin back early. Then I often inflate them with with power-word shield for an extra card. The 1/5 or 1/6 can become 10/10 or 12/12 and your Djinn too if you're later in the game, but maybe swapping out the Impmaster for Brann clears the deck up more. Thanks i'll try out both your suggestions. I sadly don't have Boom though,.. Grz
