Tried it out a bit, it's pretty cool, but what's terribly annoying is the sheer amount of taunts getting played in todays meta. Almost every time I am about to play the combo my opponent just drops a taunt delaying it. Well I guess that's the fault of all the aggro players..
I switched out a few things and this is currently the version I'm running fairly successfully. I'm not encountering too much aggro so I made it a bit slower on the early removal part. The missile combo is pretty amazing, thought of that before release but somehow completely forgot it thanks for reminding me. Real fun man, and no one ever sees it coming.
I think there's some room for improvement here but I like the base idea.
For example the Antisynergy with Kat/Subject, Bomb Toss seems kind of not necessary. And a bit overkill on the traps, I guess because of subject. But that's just my opinion and all.
I just put a 15/14 lifesteal poisonous missile launcher in a zoos face, it was very statisfying.
Yes that's exactly why I felt the deck needs some work. Because it really doesn't feel like a Bowman Deck right now more like a Mech Hunter with Bowman as an extra. Spot on.
Grizzly is a nice idea, makes Kathrena more valuable aswell, however I had feared it would ruin the idea of summoning charged beasts with the bowman. Been playing this deck for a while now though and it really seems like that specific combo is pretty hard to pull off anyhow. When it works it's amazing though. Had one game where I summoned 4x King Krush in 1 turn.
Anyway, what would you consider cutting for the grizzlys?
All the mech package should work very well with, Abominable Bowman, unifrtunately it’s kinda uselsess if you play Deathstalker Rexxar you won’t get the 100% Charged Devilsaur ( or King Krush ) pull from the bowman. Mossy Horror is good in aggro and Goblin Bomb decks but i don’t think it fits well in yours. Also i see some card draw but there seems to be a lot of high cost card but not enough draw/early game survival cards, i’d try the secret package for the early mid game and sacrifice some slow high cost cards. Also Spiritsinger Umbra could be a good minion for the deck.
As noted Rexxar is just an additional Wincondition.. Mossy is tech against Plague/Giggling. The mech package is somewhat for the early game survival. Secrets/Spellstone don't work since they summon beasts. Umbra is considerable but not sure what to replace.
