Thanks for the input. Sadly lack the quest and the second primalfin myself. Problem is not just Mindcontrol I think. With a relatively expensive curve and no definite boardclear (like Pyro / Eq in 'standard' control type paladin decks) it is fighting an uphill battle in the current meta either way. Not fast enough to go toe to toe with aggro/flood decks and depending a lot on getting buffs on the right minions means late game curve, where silence and yes, Mindcontrol wreck your basic gameplan.
Making it to late game without heals or other recovery strategies is tough in the current climate.
While i loved the idea of the deck and the synergies present between kobold, Gorgon and murmuring Elemental it just does not work for me at all. The 70%+ winrate seems hard to believe. I usually have been wiped (even after use of the single healing rain) before even drawing any of the AoEs to try and remove something on the other side. Decks have now gone fully board flooding to play their Creepers quicker so most of them don't even give a toss about you hexing something or devolving something.
Thanks for your reply. I might try my hand at the deck again and see if i can make it work like you said. Sadly for me in earlier trials the removal just did come fast enough to ever play a solid N'Zoth to pull out a win. Often by the time I got my second statue down I was down on my health a lot already and faced a silence bypassing my statue's heals and removal altogether leading to an early death.
Am glad the deck is working for everyone else. I can even see how it could work out, but I keep on losing with it, mostly by either getting outplayed by other Keleseth decks from my opponents or just never establishing a solid board presence.
Would love for this deck to work and I see a certain potential, but it has been too slow for me allround. You can drag out games a long time, but compared to other "big priest" molds it is even harder to get a solid board presence.
I personally don't find the deck to be favorable versus Keleseth Rogue and even Buff Paladin is a hard matchup. We are hoping for one drops to keep the board clear but unless you get lucky with an early defile / zealot boardclear that is turning out quite difficult and I end up getting snowballed before even reaching the time to play my Bloodreaver.
Sometimes I wonder if they design tavern brawl "restrictions" exclusively AROUND mage cards. Mage still has tons of their standard burn cards (frost bolt, fireball, and of course they need Blizzard and Meteor too) and a lot of their normal minions available.
It would be so much fun if they would have a brawl once where Mage would not be the go-to class.
Am usually reaching between rank 10 and 5 depending on my playtime (was rank 4 last month) but would like to do so more consistently and possibly get further than that. So any time you would be able to spare me coaching or reviewing my games would be awesome.

Yeah I sort of found out. In a meta where even evolve or jade shaman have a tough time laddering, murloc shaman just seems meh.
Still cannot get myself to DE the quest though :P

How would you play it without the Beardo / Uther package? What cards to add and / or replace? Could it be made viable in the current meta?

Is this any good on Ladder or just for Murloc / Shaman quest spam?

I suppose the cardback will be automatically linked to the account that gets the Deluxe edition?
I can see myself getting the WoW xpack for my wife on her account but would like the cardback for myself. :-o

Getting pwned by 3 other/cheaper hunter decks in a row. Think the curve is too many heavy for most of this to work.

You have Rat Pack on your list, that seems difficult in a warrior deck. ^_^

Actually missed one Mountain giant and switched them to Arcane Giants instead. Knocked out Jade Druids in my first two matches. Always a bonus :)
