The idea was that it would take it TWO turns before it got ready.

Orginally i wanted it to say something like "This minion takes 2 turns to get ready".

But this basically does the same thing.

Incase people don't know how Freeze works, then it skips the next possible possible Attack. So this would be able to Attack on turn 4 at the earliest. (Turn 3 with coin, and Turn 2 with Coin + Silence )

I guess i will have to make my cards crystal clear in the future.

I think i will only vote for Starsurge. It's a really cool mechanic. I might also vote for Ultimate Infeastation for meme purposes.

I don't really get the hype for Rain of Fire. People would hate to play against this card if Discolock became viable. I mean. Look at every single other infinte Value or near infinte value card that have been viable so far.

The rules which were written down were as follows:

    • Your card must be a spell
    • Your card must contain at least 3 of the same number on the card
    • The number can be numeric (1, 2, 3 etc.) or alphabetic (one, two, three etc.)

From the above, I think it's completely reasonable for someone to assume that numbers in the cards title are allowed. It's pretty clear; The rules do not specify in anyway where the numbers can occur. If I had my time again, I might have banned numbers in the title but it simply didn't occur to me. But that's beside the point. The card was valid.

The card isn't valid. ShadowsOfSense has told us what he intended by the rules. If you didn't consider the case of numbers in the title, but ShadowsOfSense did, and you didn't bring it up, then it's disallowed by the rules. He's the mod. Anyway, the rules should never be set in stone on a 'everything that isn't specifically banned is ok' basis. That's a terrible way to run a competition.
But that also creates kinda a "if i don't like it, then it isn 't allowed policy". Next time a card could be banned, because someone find it broken with another card. Banned because someone thinks it looks similar to another card. This could go on and on.
I was not sure if "a" were allowed, so i looked through the discussion, and found the creator to say it was allright. Great.
I then looked at my card. There is ABSOLUTLY, and i repeat ABSOLUTLY nothing that would indicate that it wasn't allowed. Unless you really, Really know the competition and the mindset of the mods, which i don't.
So tell me. How would i have known this was not allowed. Because you agree that it should not be? I'm not a mindreader, you know.
(But i guess you only agree with it because your card reached the finals, since my card was disallowed.)
I also want to point out that i am not mad a ShadowsofSense. If it was an honest mistake, or he simply did not have the time to tell me why it's wrong. I understand that.
But telling me that i should take into consideration what others think, makes me mad. I simply have to know a thing before i have ever experienced it before. That's not a great way to hold a competition.

May i ask why i wasen't in the final polls?

I had more upvotes than Free the Trees on page 2.

Incase you say that my card diden't qualify. The creator of the theme said (a) counted as (one). The card costed 1, the name was One of a Kind, and one (a) makes three in total.

How am i soppused to know it's not allowed to use (a), if the creator says so. And furthermore anywhere on the card also includes the name.

I diden't even get a notice. Nor an action that tells me the card does not fit the theme, like several other cards did.

IT Works the same way as the highlander mechanic, where if you draw one,  you no longer have a duplicate of it in your deck.

    Feedback would be appreciated! :D

Now onto more serious side, I decided to take a twist on "Deal 4 damage" meaning. You don't have to play this reactively, you can also play this proactively in some scenarios aswell. Making her summoning from a spell was mainly meant for the rules of this competition, but helps with creating nice synergies, both that require minions or spells.

I don't think this really works well. As you said, you made it a spell for the purpose of the competition, and this is just dying to be a minion. Also, it's busted. If you give this minion Taunt and never attack, your opponent can never get through. :/

What do you think? The no duplicates thingy works as the highlander mechanics. So if you have drawn one of your minions, that you have a duplicate of. You can draw another one.

It can also be used as a tutor effect, if you only have a few selected minions in your deck.

And Call of the Yarr is the easiest way to complete the restriction 3 times, with little text.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the priest spell(s) don't meet the criteria of the competition. I only see two "one"s. Also, Call of the Yarr feels kind of weird since pirate decks are fast, and this is painfully slow. How about just "Summon three 3/3 Pirates" (for 6ish mana). Obviously less interesting but much more of a useful/realistic card.

The creator confirmed that a counts as one.
So 1 mana, One in the name, and discover a card makes 3.

The void orb mechanic seems really clunkly. And how will you choose the amount when you have 8-10 void orbs? The Ui would go crazy. Besides that, your void orb cards are really well made, Leyarara is pretty cool. Maximillian seems really bad. As you would likely only draw 1 card. Icaria seems really clunkly and slow too.

    Rating 2/5

There's a picture inside a spoiler in the OP which can give you a rough idea on spending Void Orbs. In addition to that, Hunters tend to run a lot of Beasts, so I feel Maximillion would draw 2 or more card often enough to justify considering him. He was mostly intended to give Hunters card draw, something that the class heavily lacks at the moment.
I litterally just diden't see that. It's really well made, and it makes the mechanic better. I still feel like it's a clunky mechanic tho. Sometimes having to do 11 bottom presses for one command is way too much for hearthstone.

All these expansions seem really well done. I'm kinda sad i diden't enter during the first phase.

So this rating will be depending on how good they are compared to each other.

    Nobravery

Brightwing seems busted, Trustworthy Coworker has a typo. Should be has been and not is. Living Meteor could almost just be a 4 mana 6/6 that requires you to deal 6 to one of your minions, since it will rarely be used as removal. And the theme is a bit too goofy for my tastes. Sensei of Chaos seems pretty cool tho.

    Rating 1/5

    RazorofArtorius

Voodoo seems like a great mechanic, and the troll theme was pretty cool. Trapologist and Legbas are my favorites, since they seem like really cool, simple and viable cards. Totemic Hammer and Gurubashi Warmage seems rather decent too. Hakkar's Fanatic is just a worse version of the GvG 2 mana 3/2 windfury.

    Rating 4/5

I like the winter theme, but the Chill mechanic seems way undervalued. If you hit 2 minions with your mage 3 drop, you ensure that these minions WILL die during the next 2/3 turns. It also seems like you tacked Elusive on your minions for no good reason. Unless i just don't understand the lore. Tyrande is also hand Attack, which is a big nono. The rest of the cards are pretty decent.

    Rating 3/5

    I think therefore i am

    Latin classes finally paid off.

Your mechanics are really good, the theme is really good. And all the cards are pretty good. Although i don't find any outstanding.

    Rating 4/5

    SnorlaxBr

The theme is really... Hearthstoneish. Which is good i guess. Exhibit is Battlecry. Just restricting you from playing bad cards. Your cards seem pretty allright. Although Tained Claws and Master Demongolist seem great.

    Rating 3/5

    ShadowsofSensei

Great theme. Echo is a really cool mechanic, that i could see find it's way into the game. Forget-me-not is outstanding. Dragonguard Mallet seem really weird. The rest are okay to decent.

    Rating 4/5

    thepowrofcheese

Decent mechanic. Good theme, and you have the best cards overall with Terrorize, Blood Moon and Dreadlord Insurgent. The rest cards are also pretty good.

    Rating 5/5

    ThisOtherGuyTox

Allright theme. Intimidate is slightly unfun, although i can't really see how it turned out, since none of the cards feature the mechanic. Empower is what Inspire should've been. Guarenteed, which makes it good almost always, but not able to win you the game if your opponent diden't pack enough removals. A Moment of Silence, Iskar and Forest Frenzy are really great cards. Spirit of the Badger is kinda boring, and almost just a worse Heroic Strike. The rest are good too.

Rating 4/5 (Theme and Intimidate drags it down a lot.)

    Broeck1

The best theme by quite a far shot. The Alliance and Horde faction thingy is also outstanding. Your faction mechanics are also really really good, and encourages to think your turn through. Your cards are not as great. Going from Mediocre to good. The mechanic and theme flavor makes this my favorite expansion.

    Rating 5/5

Due to what i just said, then i would think that powrofcheese, Brock1, Razorofartorius and either ShadowofSensei/ThisOtherGuyTox/Cogito_Ergo_Sum will advance.

I will probably vote for all these guys.

Thank you for taking the time to look at everyone's expansion and reviewing them. It means a lot!
And since your Latin classes payed off, surely your History classes will pay off because you totally know the significance of "Cogito ergo sum" right? ;)
Okay, so I need to make my cards more "outstanding". What you mean by that? I was more or less focusing more on the synergies of the cards rather than individual ones.
I honestly sleept through most of latin. So the amount of things i remember from it is limited.
What would make a card outstanding is most about the excitment factor. Your cards compliments each other well. But there is not one where you get that feeling that it's amazing all around. The Armed and Dangerous cards lack the card text feeling. They're allright cards, but it's nothing new, nor is it something exciting. Margoss and Gust of Wind suffers from the same, but their names could also be one of another 20 or 30 other names, where many are just as good names. Earthquake is new, and the name fits well. But it's just super clunky, and will rarely work. Dealing 6 to one of your own minions and paying 6 total is a huge cost for dealing 6 to 2 other minions, whom you can't really decide which ones they are, due to positioning problems. Blessing of the Ancients also suffer from the name being interchangeable, and the mechanic is basically ripped off Brann and Baron Rivendare. Also the fact that you can save the effect for the next turn makes it absurdly busted. As many Deathrattles and Battlecries are way more worth than 1 mana and a card.
A good example of an outstanding card is Forget me now from ShadowsOfSensei. Great simple effect. With a name that isen't interchangeable, as the name makes a lot of the flavor. The art is also perfectly matching it's flavor.
I hope this clarified it. My English is rather mediocre, as it's my third launguage.
