Quote from TheArcanist236 >>As a very active player who also spends a ton of money each expansion, I feel slapped in the face. I am well aware of the fact that new/returning players are more profitable than active ones, but getting FIVE TIMES MORE cards just because your HAVE NOT been playing and paying for the game feels... wrong.
Well, why would they bother giving you more stuff when by your own admission you spend a ton of money each expansion anyway? : ^)
The whales are always the least catered to because they'll buy everything they throw at them anyways.

Paired with losing Wild Growth, Druid isn't doing much Ramping post-rotation. Their only ramp options now are Splish-Splash Whelp (build-around requirement), Crystal Cluster (6 mana), or Doomkin (6 mana)

I heard some speculation that the next set will be a time travel themed expansion set in all the past areas of HS's history. Imagine each class's set being themed around an old expansion, allowing us to see what they'd look like in 2024, or seeing what a Goblins vs. Gnomes set would look like for Death Knight or Demon Hunter.

Calling Dew Process getting nerfed to 4 meaningless is... a take indeed.
Having to spend 4 mana for this effect makes it VERY slow. If you aren't able to get it off early, it's unlikely you'll be able to get it off at all against anything except the Reddit Control decks without a proactive bone in their body.

Tin foil hat time: They were going to revert Velarok Windblade but decided to wait and see how the mini-set would affect the meta and if Velarok was still worthy of changing, and didn't get around to removing the balance change in the live patch.

Thaddius, Monstrosity and Snowflipper Penguin are both in Standard right now.
Can't wait to see someone get rolled by an 11/11 Penguin on turn 3.

Isn't Gilblin Stalker just better for that combo, since it has more health and Hidden Gem's other text is completely irrelevant?

Ignoring the fact that A) Control Priest, especially Reno Control Priest, has an atrocious matchup spread, and B) That tech cards have never made a busted card not busted. Even when half the meta ran Rustrot Viper in early Alterac it didn't stop Lightforged Cariel and Runed Mithril Rod from being two of the strongest cards at the time.

Because Highlander Shaman is one of the strongest decks (and strongest Reno deck), and is poised to be overbearing if Paladin is nerfed back into line.

You're missing the point.
You failed to meaningfully threaten the Mage into using the burn defensively or picking defensive options from Infinitize. As such, they were able to amass more and more and more burn as they pleased. This is not a case of Rainbow Mage being too strong - it's your deck/playstyle being too passive.
