You failed to meaningfully threaten the Mage into using the burn defensively or picking defensive options from Infinitize. As such, they were able to amass more and more and more burn as they pleased. This is not a case of Rainbow Mage being too strong - it's your deck/playstyle being too passive.
Strong? Yes. But essential? Not even close. You can make Pure Pally work without Kotori if you don't own him. Oftentimes the deck just plays him as a River Crocolisk.
Considering that Kotori is rotating in 4 months, I recommend not crafting him unless you're hard pushing for ladder climbing or think you'll use him in Wild.
Apparently it's very inconsistent with triggering, as a number of cards that Discover did not trigger the discount, especially if the Discovered card was already discounted.
[Hearthstone] Fixed a bug where cards transformed by Shenanigans would retain their Deathrattles, allowing you to... *sigh* destroy the enemy hero with a banana that had Mecha’thun’s Deathrattle. Talk about Shenanigans.
Someone please tell me they have a video of this happening. I need to see it for... research purposes.
Tempo is extremely important in BGs. Spending 3 gold to ramp might well be too slow, as you're going to be losing the following battles unless you're far enough ahead in board that you can afford to spend 3 Gold not developing your board.
This spell can easily throw the game if you buy it too early, or if you're too weak to afford the tempo hit.
It was specifically named as having a refund in the patch notes. If you type "Refund" into the search bar Gerry pops up. If you have a Gerry it's dustable for the full 1600 dust.
It was given the Kargal Battlescar treatment. I recommend double checking your sources, lest you end up making a fool of yourself.
Because it's a token generated by Excavate cards. As a result, Warlock's Excavate cards (Smokestack and Mo'arg Drillfist) along with the Excavate synergy card Tram Conductor Gerry are the ones with a dust refund.
Having to play and bounce the Azerite Snake a grand total of 5 times is a very big deal, because now the "Play and bounce the Snake a bunch of times" plan now only works against decks whose games go on long enough for Hearthstone 2 to release. The people saying "It'll still be good at 5" are running those decks, as any deck with a proactive gameplan will roll Snakelock at 7.
Probably the only meta deck which will lose to Snakelock is Control Priest, and even then, making Control Priest cry is like, the bare minimum to be considered a meta deck.
bro, u have no idea what u are talkin about; there are nearly no blizzard bots, stop praising that lame mmr argument (its not real), they are actual accounts, same in overwatch u freak!!!
blizzard banned 60k accounts, and there are still thousands of bot accounts around.
Apprentice (new player ranks) and low internal-rating players (colloquially called “MMR”) may now face up against AI opponents when playing on the ranked Standard ladder. This will help said players have a more fun experience while learning the game. Experienced players will not face these AI opponents, and they will have no impact on MMR, leaderboards, or legend ranks. Most players advance beyond the affected MMR range upon leaving Silver or Gold ranks.
This is a server-side hotfix change. They can not change the effect - just "The big numbers" - Stats and Cost.
It will receive a different nerf aimed at actually addressing the problematic aspects of this card, the cost increase is a stop-gap solution until they can get around to actually doing that.
Most sets in recent years have at least one tie-in legendary which is obtained just from owning a pack. Some even have two, like Murder at Castle Nathria. As such, I recommend grabbing a pack or two of each Standard relevant expansion for free Legendaries, and because many of them are actually pretty good.
Those are Blizzard ran bots, which only appear at low internal MMRs. They're there because the game doesn't have enough players at these ranks to get you a match in a reasonable amount of time (before their addition, I've seen 5+ minute queues)
They don't show up in the "Recent players" list because they're not real players or Battlenet accounts. Similarly, you can't report them because, well, they're officially ran by the developers.
Keep in mind: This is a hotfix change. They can only change things such as the Cost or Stats. Touching the effect is off the table until the next client update, which is 2 weeks after launch at least. They very well may change it to "LIfesteal, deal 10 damage to the enemy hero" but that's outside the scope of changes they can do right now.

Don't believe me? Take it from Blizzard themselves. Specifically, the "Early Progression and Milestone Offer Updates" section.

Purchase/get a Festival of Legends pack and he'll be added to your collection.

It's getting nerfed another time, this is just a stop-gap solution until they can properly address it.
