I am sorry, but if the point of the thread is that your hero being fucking invunerable isn't enough, i don't really know what to say.. lol.

I would take out harrison, no more patron anymore and you already have a good winrate against wallet warrior. Should replace him with Justicar, since she single handedly destroys control. You also need more early game, but lack naxx, so you can replace argent protector with argent squire. You also definitely don't need two tuskarr jousters; replace him for another squire usually (when you get naxx replace both squires with chows). Midrange paly should be not bad right now since patron is gone, but not 100% sure.  Another thing to consider is replacing Sylvanas with another quarter since she's slow, but idk since i don't have sylvanas myself LOL

Meh, just got Harrison Jones out of a pack and rly want to use it, I dont have Justicar yet, and another Quartermaster would only be good if I had justicar, and even with it, I'd have to take the risk of ending up with a dead hand of 2 quartermasters with no token. Argent Squire looks kinda meh, but I'll try it out

FYI, i have played over 1,000 games of hearthstone and have only been harrisoned twice. The card is so situational that it is often just sitting dead in your hand, awaiting its glorious moment to shine. The body is not attuned to the mana cost and so the board you get from the minion alone is just not valuable.

The only reason quartermaster would be sitting in your hand dead, is because your not using your hero power and as another poster said, Justicar is a great card, simply because she gives you TWO recruits instead of one, making your quartermaster's light up with anticipation.

Harrison is a decent card, but i think your winrate would argue with you over its usefulness. Justicar has endless value.. Harrison will maybe draw u 3 cards with a shit body if your lucky.

He is attacking with a weapon and if he dies, you lose your invunerable and would lose the bonus anyways so why even add it on.

If you ladder with anything, make it a class than can deal with these god damn belchers.. 25 games in a row i saw belcher on ladder and although not a surprise, it is to see the beast hunters running it, the dragons running it, rogues running it.. I swear belcher is in like 95% of the meta right now. (Counteracting the shift to aggro after GP death)

Dealing with either Tirion, MurlocKnight, MC and Dr. 7 can be harrowing. Dealing with all of them in one game can be incredibly difficult, but not impossible.

Whoever said freeze mage counter was damn right. Been playing pally's all day running freeze mage, most of them played the above cards and still ended up losing.

Divine Favor is an auto-include in most paladin decks and when you play around it, it literally becomes a dead card in their hand, one they cannot even draw 1 measly card off of.

The reason people are so fucking pissed off about the patron nerf is because patron allowed a condition to exist where you no longer had to play around aggro decks at all. You could just do your own thing and it literally, like LITERALLY did not matter what the aggro decks did, because either way they would play right into the strategy. What we are left with post GP nerf is the removal of that condition and a bunch of spoiled card players (GP PLAYERS) who have forgotten how to play around an aggro deck, because they have just been brainlessly playing patron with reckless abandon against aggro with great results.

Face it; Grim patron spoiled you. It made you weak and complacent. Patron allowed the game to go without aggro for a time, but guess what bitch, its back and your gonna have to learn how to play around it all over again. And no, you did not have to be a GP player to reap the benefits, it heavily impacted the meta.

you're joking right? aggro has been the dominant percent of decks players since beta. Ill agree Grim Patron was overpowered and that it needed a nerf, but not to point where it was an automatic win and have to be destroyed. let me ask, have you ever played Patron Warrior?

People are mad because a non linear deck that required skill to win against at minimum decent players was destroyed. a deck you rarely even saw on ladder after tgt released because people who weren't good enough realized they couldn't win consistently enough with it, so they went back to aggro decks.

But GP didn't impact the aggro played at all, right? Aggro played was not the lowest SINCE beta, right? -_-

Patron is the definition of a linear deck in hearthstone with a minimal amount of RNG involved.

People who play decks like this and think they are being competitive make me laugh. "Oh welp, looks like im playing secret paladin now!" or even "Warrior is my 'main' class" give me a break, your main is to netdeck and hope for the best and i can't help but laugh when players with that attitude get shit on.

Cheers! This is just one less crutch for these folk to prop themselves up with and if the removal of that crutch makes standing on your own two hard, maybe you should find another game to play or build up your collection.

I am a little sad to see the deck go, but only because it gave beginner players a way to get some half decent winrates for some easy gold farming with minimal investment, in context to most other meta decks that have a high dust cost.

But yeah, GP deck was clearly a marketing tactic to sell the adventure and when the next one comes out, you can bet your ass there will be another card to fill that role and with the GP nerf happening now, i think it is safe to say the next adventure will be coming sooner than later.

The GP whiners are out in full force. That was a low cost deck designed to help beginning players get a good win rate. "Oh no, i have to netdeck a completely new deck now!" like shut up, jesus.

posted a message on Patron Warrior is not overpowered

I love how people act like there isn't tons of sources to easily learn how to play patron and you have to do all the learning yourself, lol. At the end of the day, there might be 10% of the choices in any game that you have to make an audible on and making the right call can be hard, but that 90% of the time is gravy. Seriously, go look up "How to play patron" on youtube and see how many videos come up.

I have no problem with the deck personally. I love how it is fairly affordable and very powerful in comparison to any other deck that could be made available to a new player, but these guys taking it to legend like "Patron legend bro, it was super hard and crazy, not many people can do that bro." anybody could make it to a respectable rank with this deck.

Is it op? when you compare its winrate/dust cost, there is a massive disconnect where no other deck for that dust cost could influence the meta the way this deck has. Is it op? I don't know, but i certainly don't consider some guy making it to legend with patron a good player by any stretch of the imagination and that is really saying something.

Also, freeze trapping a deathwing can turn an easy win for your opponent into an easy win for yourself and on that basis alone, you should run atleast one copy. Deathwing is the bane of all early aggro and can completely fuck your board, even if they have 8-10 health left.
