Combo Druid stomps Control Warrior, that is probably CW's worst matchup

Mech Mage and Midrange pally are probably the most consistent right now. There is Oil rogue that actually has a good match up against most of the top decks except warrior...if warrior makes a comeback then this deck is terrible. Ramp druid is unfavorable against midrange pally and does well against mech mage, but it loses hard to combo druid. Combo Druid has a tough time with aggro but has an even matchup against pally. So it is basically a big circle. Warrior is not good atm because of the Druids that are around.

Right now with the absence of warriors I would play Oil Rogue it just dominates many of the top decks. The minute you start seeing a lot of warrior, switch to a different deck because that matchup is almost impossible to win.

posted a message on Is it a bad idea to run 1x Hellfire in Zoo?

You are probably better using Imp-plosion. It damages a minion, hopefully kills it and gives you some dudes. Helfire can be a dead card and awkward for you most of the time.

posted a message on Mechwarper is the definition of powercreep

I think that mechwarper is above average for a two drop. The card was designed to support the mech tribe and it is a good option for mech decks and make them swarmy. But mechwarper can be removed more often than not with in the first two turns that it was played. When I play a mech mage I know what can happen and I mulligan very aggressively for spot removal or AOE to deal with it and whatever gets dropped. This is easier said than done but you can be proactive and tech your deck to slow down your opponent and make sure you have the answers. Add a zombie chow or MCT to gain board control. LIke it or not this game needs aggro, if there is not aggro there is no midrange decks (this is a traditionaly standpoint because there is a rock, paper, scissors element: aggro[fast] beats control[slow], midrange[in-between] beats aggro and control beats midrange, of course this is a basic concept but fundamental.) Now, while saying that I can see mech warper limiting game design, not as much as Undertaker or Gadgetzan Auctioneer, by this I mean introducing cards that indirectly buff these cards and make them increasingly better. If i could rate this I would say that Undertaker and Auctioneer would be a 10, because you would not want to make above average/high power- low cost spells or above average DR minions for these two cards. Mech warper is a 6/7 to me because he is a 2 drop, and while he can get some crazy stuff going it can be stopped more consistently than undertaker or gadgetzan. And yet, if Blizzard decides that this card is limiting game design/the meta/fun they will nerf it but it should not be much. Make it a 3/2 or a 2/2 for 2, it just makes it easier to remove and nothing else needs to be change.

I know the only deck I referenced was mech mage but that is because it is big in the meta unlike other mech deck. IF you are having trouble though try running Ramp Druid with lots of taunts, Control Warrior with explosive sheep, Midrange Pally(i wold add a zombie chow to make it more consistent against mech mage), Oil Rogue. Zoo may have agood matchup but unsure.

posted a message on Sen'jin Shieldmasta vs. Arcane Nullifier X-21

I have only found Arcane nulifier to be superior to senjin only in mech shaman, just because of the powermace to buff the card. Now the spell protection is nice against these mech mages and hunters so they cant burn through it, but the problem with Arcane nulifier is that it just does not trade well. There are a lot of 3 health minions that are popular right now and I believe the most important aspect of senjin is that it trades "evenly" with piloted shredder.

posted a message on Carine and The Meta

He does not trade well and basically the decks that would run him have a better option in sky golem because that card does trade against some of the popular cards in the meta and leaves behind a respectable body most of the time. Usually, the stats will add up even for both cairne and the sky golem because golem will drop some bad minions from time to time but also you can get minions that are by far better than the 4/5 cairne drops. Personally, Cairne feels sub-par now because he cannot trade that well against mid-range/control and is/has been way too slow against aggro.

posted a message on Undertaker Nerf = Rogue Buff?

The tempo rogue decks are good against Druid so that is probably the reason for the increase. The nerf just enables Rogues to clear the undertaker in the first few turns more consistently. Now, aggro is still going to be a problem for the deck and the more midrange builds of hunter along with warrior are very tough matchups.

posted a message on When will Dr. Boom be nerfed?

Well you said it yourself BGH is there to take him out so he is less effective. There are a few things that make Handlock tier 2 at the moment and the use of BGH is a small part but it is largely because of very effective aggro decks that Handlock has a hard time with. Also, there is a lot of deep thinking about the meta because of the large use of BGH many, mid-range and control decks have opted out 7+ attack minions to get an edge on that tech card. To me Dr. Boom is strong but can be compared to Rag which is not over powered either.

Control Warrior can halt their board presence and Tempo Rogue has a lot of ways to slow them down and clear their board.

posted a message on Is there a matchup where you would never play muster on curve?

Well you definitely want to value it way more because it can get wiped so easy by Rogue, Warrior and Druid. So holding onto it til Quatermaster can be comboed with it is good; however, sometimes you may want to take that chance, for instance: if you have alot of aggression and are doing a lot of damage, you want to gain alot of tempo and have a small board or you have quatermaster in hand and want to have the 3/3's on turn 5. For me when I have a aggressive start and I see that I have the combo in hand I will take the risk and play muster turn 4 and quater turn 5 and make them have the answer, if not you run away with the game. If they do you lose tempo and a possible board wipe. Of course this is all dependent on what my opponent has done the past few turns. I almost never play muster without Quater against Warrior they have a lot of tools to clear them.

posted a message on So Where Is My Naxx Gold Refund?

You have no idea what you are talking about. Undertaker is still going to be the premier one drop for most aggressive decks because it can trade up and still hit for huge damage. It is just easier to take care of which makes the game more balanced for everyone. Undertaker was way too strong and I do not believe that a one drop should swing the game in the first few turns. This card is still going to be played but it is not going to require a huge commitment to take care of. Hunter is still going to be a power house and Zoo really does not take full advantage of the card and will move on. The card is very playable but will now be even more suited for aggro decks because it will not get as much value. Also your statement about getting a refund is absurd, the card is a common...40 dust and the gold version can be completely refunded for dust when the patch hits.

posted a message on Hunter Mark.

Hunter's Mark is fine and if they did take it out they would run two owls same thing, they just want to get around your taunts to do direct damage. Every class has something annoying/good and that is the reason you want to play that class.

posted a message on Most recommended first legendary for control warrior

So imo there are 5 legendaries that you really want and three crucial ones: The top 3 would Grommash for a finisher, Slyvannas for board control and Alexstraza for control Match-ups. The other two are Dr.Boom and Rag they are very good threats but can be replaced by other threats. Once you get these Harrison Jones is very good and you may want Barron Gedon/Cairne/The Black Knight as tech cards.

Do you have all of Warrior's Key removal cards? Death's Bite, Sheild Slam, Brawl? If not then you may want to get those first.

posted a message on Feedback needed on my control priest.

Probably add some tech cards for aggro. Pyro is great against aggro and sludge belcher is really strong. I am not a fan of Prophet Velen, he is too slow most of the time and does not have an immediate impact. Also I would run either Lightbomb or Holy Fire, they are both clunky in a lot of match ups and you do not need both in your hand doing nothing for a long time against mid-range/aggro
