Holy shit dude, I guess I'm a Pure Paladin main until the expansion hits. I'm already bored to tears with this deck. Praying they nerf Tickatus in the next balance patch.
This seems like a card that could be slotted in a variety of Druid decks, although it's a bit hard to tell so far. However this looks like a good card for a token deck, as Innervate and Lightning Bloom already see play in those decks on top of other cheap spells too.
Mana cheat is nothing to scoff at. So far with what's revealed and the current pool of taunt minions this is a very good card, a must kill target. It's an early drop too, if anything to fight the board against aggro, which is gonna want to kill this thing for sure so ironically this card has taunt too
In a Taunt deck this is basically a way better Kel'Thuzad. Any Taunt minions with Rush could get huge value out of this. And don't forget, there are ways to give minions Taunt so there are some potentially neat interactions with non Taunt minions.
I am liking the direction they pushing Druid this expansion, hoping Druid turns away from the Clowns and Treants for a little bit and bring back good ol' Midrange Druid.
As long as they are trying to push DH into a slower archetype then I'm all for what cards this Deathrattle archetype will bring to the table. Building slow DH decks is the most fun I've had with deck building.
What pisses a majority of us slow deck players off is the people who do build their deck around Tickatus that is so unfair to face against. How is it fair that one single card that can be copied multiple times (something that already pisses most people off) just sais "no you can't have fun with your deck"? how can you possibly justify this? there isn't a single archetype other than this that invalidates not one but several other archetypes.
I'm sick and tired of people assuming I'm doing something wrong as a Highlander Druid against Tickatus decks, I dunno where this notion is coming from. A normal Tickatus deck isn't much of a problem (such as Galakrond and Prime Warlock) but when you come across these fuckwhads with x2 Felosophy and Demonic Studies that make these matches so one sided I might as well concede from the start. It's like the time when Freeze Mage was just countered by Control Warrior, only alot worse because anything you do doesn't matter in the end.
I don't think this effect is nearly as strong as people think.
But it is silence so this will most likely see play in Aggro lists. But make no mistake, this is not as strong as Consume Magic and the silence may not do anything.
Also, the people who make the argument that Control Players are entitled and should have counters don't realize that even with some control decks (Highlander decks specifically) have more pressure than most other slow decks, yet no matter what you do to try to pressure the Warlock your board just gets removed over and over again quite easily. Cascading Disaster and plenty of other removal pretty much invalidate any way for a control deck to pressure. You just cannot pressure Warlock unless you play threat after threats until they don't have anymore removal.
I remember a game playing as Highlander Druid (which is supposed to be a good matchup for me) and doing my very best to pressure the Warlock, but everything I did was just easily thwarted. I even Zephrys for a Tirion and that still wasn't enough.

I know I was making a comparison

A solid 1 drop for a tempo or midrange archetype. Just what the doctor ordered.

I can handle bad matchups. That's a given.

I'm not sure if this makes the cut but it is a good card.
However, with all these good 1 cost spells for Rogue there is more incentive to play Wandmaker for Rogue.

I'm LOLing at the comments that are saying Tickatus is only good against Priest. That's the funniest thing I've heard all day.
