This thread is for discussing bad experiences you have had in the game, and it's going to stay that way and not be used to discuss things that are on the forbidden topics list.

Why would anyone ban a serious discussion about this major topic. This concerns us all, this is absolutely vital for the future of this game and has to be addressed. And where if not here in the salt thread should it be discussed. Fluxflashor, the creator and long time head of heartpwn wouldn't have shut down and deleted an important issue like you did.

First of you wouldn't call it a conspiracy theory if you actually played the game somewhat recently. Besides that I don't see any fighting or bickering here, just people who express their frustration about the current state of the game. The amount of people, that defend Blizzard and deny manipulation, has gone drastically down the last months.I think thats for a reason.

Of course Blizzard/Team 5 won't admit manipulation, that would hurt them badly. Not even The FIFA guys did, even though its more than obvious. Yet Blizzard says things like we want to maintain a 50% win rate and create the card Zephrys, that reads the state of the game and gives you the perfect card to take advantage. I think that was an own goal eventually.

I think you as a mod shouldn't come around and write things like 'we have no place for nonsense like that' or 'Now, enough on this'. Sounds rather bossy and arrogant to me. This nonsense is the opinion of the majority of users here. And where is actually your 'single shred of proof', that you are 'completely independent from Blizzard'...?

So don't get me wrong I want Hearthstone to improve again, there's still hope for better times. But imho the current way is the way of doom. If Hearthstone sinks so will this site. In order to prevent this I try to express my opinion.

Just deleting posts like this makes you wonder if this site isn't somehow in contact with people at Blizzard.

I mean hearthpwn is probably one of the biggest websites for hearthstone. Who there would like heavy criticism on a subject like manipulation, especially if its true.

with the reward pack my pity timer hit 40...legend opened Infiltrator Lilian oh well...you often read posts here on opening days where people open 150 packs and get 15 legends (1/10) including 3 golden ones and 40 epics. I just cant believe that. In my history of hearthstone starting about half a year after beta I had exactly one solid expansion opening,which was Journey to Ungoro.I got 2 golden quests (open the waygate one of them) and legends slightly under a 1/20 packs rate. All the other expansions that rate was between 1/25 and 1/40, epics in average maybe 1/7.

If you apply an average 1/35 legend and a 1/7 epic opening rate for someone who does his dailies, grinds some gold here and there and is able to open 80 packs at the start of a new expansion thats 3 legends (with the guaranteed one in the fist 10) and 11 epics. With the introduction of demon hunter we have 10 classes 24 new legends and 46 new epics each expansion...so thats just a small share of whats available...and imagine you draw the bad ones. Basically with those rigged pack rates you would have to open around 800 packs to get all legends...impossible

Thats actually the biggest flaw in the system.You can not give people legends at a 1/10 rate and others at a 1/35 rate.Thats a HUGE imbalance, especially if the F2P folks get the 1/35 rates. You'll never be able to keep up. I'd immediately sign if I get the average 1/20 legend and 1/5 epic rates offered. The good RNG folks would probably refuse that offer. Pity timers HAVE to be changed.

So RNG and manipulation in every single aspect of this spoiled game. Matchmaking rigged (playing against a rankless your opponent with legend card back anyone), your draw and mulligan nerfed, opponents draw buffed, crazy combos enabled for your opponent, Pack opening rigged, legend and epic opening rates close to the pity timer, Golden cards decreased, quests rigged (what is a 100 Gold quest,not seen one in a year),don't get me started about that battlegrounds slot machine...

all in order to frustrate you and push you towards buying a bundle/craft new cards and milk the players/maximize profit

I also think RNG isn't the same for every player and isn't only maintained to reach a 50% win rate. If certain people lose more there must be others who win more. Imho there's whales who preorder each time, buy all the event packs and newbies/people that return after a long break who get favourable RNG in matchups or packs and on the other side people like me, who are mostly or completely F2P veterans, who grind a lot and try to keep up, that get awful RNG. I know there is some people out there, who defend Blizzard/Team 5 at all cost and deny manipulation...imho they belong into the group of whales who never/hardly experienced rigged nerfed RNG or streamers with buffed RNG....or its people paid by Blizzard

Honestly at this point I think it might be better to just stop and quit hearthstone. But there's just so much time and effort invested in it and actually it was fun and one of the best games I've played back then. It's a shame cause I know with the right competent people in charge, that actually care for the game and not only profit, this could be THE CTCG for years to come. But currently you just close the game and feel salty and mad about rigged RNG. Maybe a 3 month break or whatever is needed to get that free deck for returners is the way to go and meanwhile give LOR a try.Then return and see if things changed. If not leave for good.

Wall of text, sorry for that. But I feel certain things are not ok and must be said. I'll split it in 2 parts.

I recently had a few days time and decided to farm some gold, since we all know its a rare good. The result...salt of course. It's not the first time I realized this, but this game clearly doesn't want you to accumulate gold through grinding towards the 100 gold daily limit.

It started reasonable the first day but after a few hours it turned a little worse. When I came back the 2nd day I hit a brick wall, lost the first 10 games in a row (2 or 3 straight concedes against priest included since I wanted quick wins). After that it hardly got better,my RNG was all over the place. Back to back to back druids with turn 3 and 4 Guardian Animals always with 1 Lake Trasher to wipe my board perfectly. I was playing aggro stealth rogue for quick wins so I had to be aggressive, next one a Kael thas who pulled of 3 spells for free in one turn. It was ridiculous, I had 2 copies of cutting class in my deck, the one card you only want to see with a buffed weapon or a hooked skimitar equipped. I lost count how many times I got that after the mulligan or directly as first card drawn. Typical start hand secret passage,Edwin,Steeldancer,cutting class...

Well the 3 rd day wasn't any better.10 losses straight again, you could mostly already tell after 2 or 3  turns this is a lost case. So a lot of quick wins for my opponents there through concedes. I had an open arena run with 1 win, thought maybe that would work...no 3 defeats in a row. People with multiple legends and perfect synergies. I don't consider myself a great player, but I could reach rank 5 regularly...well if you draft shit, draw shit and your opponent doesen't it's basically 100% game over, not even a rank 1 legend player could do anything there. They say arena shows your true skill...I just can't second that, in fact I think it's even more of a RNG lottery then ladder.

2 nd Arena run...no legends or epics as usual...highlighted by a game where I had a huge board and easy lethal next turn against a priest. The priest apparently had a good draft because he could plague of death my whole board. Next turn (10 mana) he top decks dragonqueen in a fucking Arena deck...I mean seriously one of the best cards WITH no duplicate condition...into Kalcegos into some copy spell..dare I say game over. Afterwards again huge board advantage with 2 Judicious Juniors...both stolen by MINDCONTROL and after that a 3 rd Mindcontrol, this time stolen from my deck...run finished.

Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron what a great card. I'm losing, please RNG god help me...

I lost my last 3 games against mage each time because of this card. Last game the mage had only 3 cards in hand and 2 Boulderfist Ogres from Power of Creation on board and had 12 HP remaining.I had a solid board, could handle his Ogres and lots of cards in hand.

He proceeds and plays his Hail Mary card which first buffs his Ogres with Gift of the Wild now 8/9 taunts. After that he gets another 8 mana druid spell...The Forests Aid, then he clears 2 of my minions  and gets a fucking Inner Demon +8 attack for his hero. Opponent finishes his super fun box with a Grave Rune not on any of my remaining minions, nor on one of his 5 2/2s, no it lands on his Boulderfist Ogre of course. Not a single spell to his disadvantage by the way.

He went face with his +8 attack and brought me down to 10 HP.I would have been able to clear his 2/2s and even both his buffed taunted Ogres, but not the fucking 2 resurrect cancer copies. No taunt or life steal in hand...game over

Puzzle Box is such a stupid card, pretty much the icing of this RNG casino high roll clown fiesta meta. And this RNG thing is not random at all, I would bet money on it.

so here's my fun loaded playing experience today....

Logged in and figured I still need to do the chaos. Picked priest since I also have a 60 gold priest quest. So mechs and a lot of boom bots. Well RNG alert bells ringing...and rightly so.

I counted it, 9 of my first 13 boom bots did 1 damage, my opponents mostly did 3 or 4. The mech that  gives a legendary minion as deathrattle gives me commander Rhyssa, opponent gets a 7/7. The mage gets at least 4 cheap spells for his Antonidas, mine rots unplayed, because I dont draw a single spell...well I have 2 cleric of scales in hand that could help discover one, but of course no dragon anywhere. Alright a rather unfortunate start, I lose the first 3 chaos games, but actually just win the 4th after a 20 minute game because the opponent mispalys badly.I didn't know that this was actually the fun part today...

Well lets quickly move away from that RNG garbage I think and switch from priest to rogue in wild. Trying the old kingsbane pirate rogue I didn't touch for a while...result 0-3. Second game I try to hit a single 4/2 with my ships cannon...4 cheap pirates and the cannon hits face 4 times, with the help of his intact 4/2 he proceeds to smorc me down. Third game I have a wide pirate board but the hunter top decks unleash the hounds and buffs them to clear my pirates effortlessly. Generally I draw no kingsbane buffs.

Ok lets try my homebrew handbuff palli, thats fun and actually pretty good.Leads to the highlight of the day against a highlander mage.I establish a big board with huge minions (2 Valanyr buffed 10/8 faceless corrupters and echoing oozes out of flamestrike reach. Of course still freeze and blizzard (oh the irony) danger, but I have buffed charge minions in hand and his Zephyrs has already been used. Ok next turn lethal for me...but no. Opponent did play Lunas Galaxy last turn and what does he draw now...yes dragonqueen for 1 Mana. Still alright I think as a deathwing would leave him with no hand, while I have some buffed minions...its not deathwing its Veranus. 1 Mana dragonqueen into 1 Mana Veranus into his flamestrike and all my big minions are gone. His 2 nd dragon the new 5/6 deatrattle. My turn now and I'm 2 off lethal with the reequiped Valanyr and my buffed Argent Horserider +Leeroy. Ah well I heal back up to almost 30 with a buffed vicious scalehide, just have to survive one turn for the second Valanyr strike or another drawn charge minion (divine favour). The blessed opponent proceeds to draw his second consecutive 1 cost Alexstrasza, this time the classic one, game over.

After getting terrible opening hands and not seeing smugglers run once in 4 games I rage quit with a doppelgangster, Valanyr, Faceless Corrupter and spellbreaker start hand. That is after mulligan against a demon hunter.

1-10 fun times , Blizzard/Activision/Ayala you are truly amazing, thank you for brightening my day
