posted a message on Hearthstone's Arena Team is Testing a 20% Increase in Spells During Drafting

Honestly, this is why Team 5 scares the shit out of me and I fear for the future of this game when they say things like ''Standard Arena is a good idea'' when basically everyone else instantly realizes how bad it actually is.

We need Legendarys, Rares and Epics appearing more to improve decision making and variance. Not the opposite.

Changing Arena to Standard is not a ''Good Idea'' in fact it's one of the worst things they could do, it kills the variance, unpredictability, and fun.

There are much better solutions that could add onto Arena instead of cutting down and taking away.

Having Epics and Rares appear more frequently would improve Arena better then cutting the card pool down.

Lowering the card pool just dumbs down Arena and this game is already at brain dead levels. It's nice to have a competitive scene that has all the cards available to be experienced. Arena is meant to be more complex than Standard.

There is a lot of eggs in Un'goro so very high chance on new egg style card, probably be some beefed up version of Nerubian Egg.

    Quote from Fluxflashor >>

I just want to make sure the full quote on that is somewhere.

Brode: We’re definitely starting to believe it might be a problem. What we’re looking to see is if the problem is going to get worse or better or stay the same. Depending on how that happens over the next few weeks or months, we will have a better idea of when or how we would make a decision on nerfs, if they would happen. I’m being a little cagey about our response there, because in general we try to plan our nerfs around patches. I don’t think it’s the best experience to announce nerfs too early, if we decide to make them. Then it feels like you have to play a broken game with this card that everyone agrees is broken and Blizzard knows is broken.

That's the problem with Team 5's ideology they believe they have to sit and wait for months on end before making a small change to a single card.

posted a message on Blizzard doesn't care about high skill players

That is exactly why WoW is trash and is no where near the game it once was and why Hearthstone is getting to be trash as well. To many RNG aspects run by Liberal developers that want everyone to have participation trophies and everyone to feel like they can ''win''. The problem is none of these 'wins' have any long lasting effect because they weren't earned so what we have is just a bunch ''who the hell cares mentality'' with no competitiveness or thought.

If they make Arena a Standard format good chance i will quit the game, having a diluted card pool is the entire point of Arena...Never know what your going to get and you can still build synergies regardless. Going to Standard is not the answer.

I almost never do Constructed because i can't stand Standard so if Arena is much the same there is no getting away from it.

Nice concept and was different but executed poorly like most things from Team 5. It was so brain dead easy to beat it sucked all the fun out, had no desire to play it a 2nd time.

A thing Blizzard used to excel at but is now something they don't get at all now that all the founders don't do this anymore is that without struggle there can't be triumph. Everyone look back at all your greatest gaming moments throughout your life, chances are it was struggle and you were banging head on the keyboard but looking back would you have wanted it any other way? Fuck no. All of this participation hand outs with brain dead easiness is the #1 absolute cancer to Blizzard games today it makes for abysmal game play with no lasting memory no nothing.
