I opened 222 packs and got 12 legendary, I'm at one legendary every ~20 packs which is the average.
You opened 137 packs and got 4 legendary which is a legendary every 34.25 packs which is very close to the pity timer.
However if you open the next legendary in the next pack : -> 138 packs 5 legendary is a legendary every 27.60 packs
140/5 = 28 150/5 = 30 160/5 = 32 170/5 = 34
You'll need to open one legendary in the next 33 packs to stay at your one legendary per ~34 packs, which is pretty unlucky, but still below pity timer.
The next legendary you open, even if it's in 13 packs, will change your rate significantly and you'll get closer to the average.
If you open two legendary in the next 13 packs, you'll reach a 1 legendary every 25 packs which will change your average by a huge margin.
If you don't open a legendary in the next 33 packs you'll still be at one legendary every 34 packs which is really close to the pity timer but not close enough to consider yourself the unluckiest man ever to hit it every time.
Thanks for the mad Facts Mr. French man I think i'm going to give into temptation and get another 40 packs with amazon coins
If it's Prime day it won't have any discount for Australian's, The pricing has just changed yet again went from 30% discount to 25%. I'll buy the coins as soon as the pre-order becomes available or the price changes again.
If they put the pre-order in i'll buy the preorder otherwise i'll probably put 120 packs or so into the new expansion and split the rest with whatever I need must

I hit the Pity Timer every fucking time. I'll post Legendaries I got in a second

What's the pity timer again?
I know you're Guaranteed a Legendary in the first 10 Packs now which I got on pack 7.
So I got 3 Legendaries in about 120 Packs?
EDIT: Isn't the Pity timer 1 in 40? So if I don't get a Legendary after 40 packs I get a Legendary
That means I spent $150 Aud on packs and hit the Pity Timer every single fucking time.
EDIT 2: Legendaries I got were
Malfurion the Pestilent
Frost Lich Jaina
ShadowReaper Anduin
Blood-Queen Lana'thel
Artus

I'll either have 6 lots of 40 or 7 lots of 40 + 1 lot of 15 packs + whatever else I can afford left
How should I divvy up my purchases?
I could sink 1 lot of 40 into each expansion and then buy the pre-order plus a set of 40 in Knights of the Frozen Throne?
My missing card requirements at the moment for each expansion are:
Standard : 40,980 Dust
Goblins vs Gnomes : 56,280 Dust
The Grand Tournament : 33,300 Dust
Mean Streets of Gadgetzen: 36,500 Dust
Whisper's of the Old Gods: 46,800 Dust
Journey to Un'Goro: 36,100 Dust

This is for Amazon Australia.

So I am thinking of buying some Amazon Coins but am unsure where I should be putting them.
The Pricing is as followed:
10000 coins for $76 with a 24% saving
or
50000 coins for $375 with a 25% saving
Buying the $375 option gives me seven lots of 40 packs plus 15 packs in whichever I want.
Or I could buy 4 lots of $76 and if I need to sink in some more money. For an extra 5 dollars instead of blowing it all at once.

So amazon have a deal with Amazon coins which is basically $350 for $500 of coins.
I'm fine with that as I love hearthstone and want to be able to play pretty much everything without waiting 3 weeks to craft a single card I want.
I'm just having trouble feeling it as Amazon Australia doesn't explain much. So has anyone used amazon coins before and if so how smooth was it?
I usually buy the pre-order for the card back and bonus cards but yeah, Not sure what to do. It's essentially a small holiday.
I can buy 7 sets of 40 packs with the amazon coins deal plus like 13 random packs in whichever set I need most.
I wonder if you can use amazon coins to pre-order the expansion or whether it's elusive to the website.
any help appreciated

So should I craft all of these cards in Golden?
So I'd need to craft: 1x Golden Ice Lance
2x Golden Conceal
2x Golden power overwhelming
2x Golden Azure Drake
1x Golden Slyvanis
1x Golden Ragnaros
And I'd get 1600 + 6400 + 800 + 800 + 400 dust back when the new rotation hits??

I often turn on " Only show decks I can create" But sometimes there's a deck that I just need a rare or a common for.
So yeah maybe a dust required feature? It shows dust required next to total dust cost but there's no way to filter it.
Can elaborate if needed

So when is it actually being released?
I live in australia so I don't know which timezone is used
