Totem shammy definitely didn't get any help from class cards for this coming expansion. I'll leave it to the big brain deck builders to see if a miracle totem deck can occur with the neutral cards we are getting.
One time, about a year ago, I was on a boss fight to break in to legend for the first time ever.
It was around turn 8 and I was playing an aggro Rogue. My opponent was a Warrior.
I was winning, and I felt that elation creeping up on me that you get when you are on the cusp of hitting legend for the first time (you never get that feeling again, just the once).
My daughter (2 at the time) chose this moment to try to get my attention. She wanted me to watch her do some silly little dance.
I put my phone down and watched her dance for a few minutes. She was the cutest thing ever.
When her little fat ass was done and she waddled away, I picked up my phone to see the roper timer going off. In the three turns I had missed, I had been decimated. I gave the guy a "Well played" and conceded.
I have no regrets about this game. I've crafted a few shit legendaries before, but we've all been there. It is strictly a spare time type of thing that I will throw money in to once in a great while if it's something I really want. I will never give it any meaningful time from my life, though.
Jepetto Joybuzz was an interesting card, and deserved more than to be in meme decks. A few mana lower and he would have been a true legendary.
Zephrys, you were a two-edged sword my friend. You won a lot of games for me that I had no business winning, and you cost me a lot of games that I had in the bag. Ultimately, I'm glad to see you go.
Whirlkick Master, you finally got gud towards the end of your lifespan. Sorry to see you go. Aggro Rogues won't miss you, but I will.
Galakrond, you were a fucking boss in Rogue decks till they neutered you. Maybe you'll get your old buff back as you rotate to wild.
Dark Skies can go piss up a rope. Glad to see that shit stain bounce out of here.
Risky Skipper, you're going to be missed tremendously by the Warrior class. I mean, I won't miss you, but they sure will.
The flavor of the expansion influences the style of the art. With more "fun" expansions, you get more whimsey in the cards and their art. With more "serious" or dark expansions, you tend to get grittier, more detailed/dark shaded work.
Watch Ink Masters some time and check out how different artists approach different styles of tattoos using their own style. If you have an artist that is highly skilled at traditional Japanese, and you ask them to do an American Traditional or New School style tattoo, you are going to get it because they are good, but you are also going to definitely see their own flavor blended in.
Card art is no different. No other art is different, really. It's art. It is subjective, and comprised of many factors, not the least of which is the artist, the subject, the theme, etc.
I like the art in the game, myself. It strikes a balance between the cartooney and the serious in just the right places, more often than not. You can tell that the development team cares about their work because the voice effects almost always match up with the artwork perfectly.

No, it's a 10 mana play.
Leeroy - 4
Shadowsteo, Leeroy - 2
Shadowstep - Leeroy - 2
Prep, Cold blood - 0
Prep, Cold Blood - 0
8 mana spent thus far, 2 remaining
Eviscerate - 2
I do read that as a 30 damage play, rather than 34 damage, though.

But leave him, you did. Until now... at the dawn of the new Classic Age....

My thoughts.
Convincing Infiltrator can die in a fire.

Buff idea to make a classic card relevant again
Buff Fan of Knives
Current effect - Deal 1 damage to all enemy minions, and draw a card.
My idea is to make it a combo card.
Combo effect - Deal 1 damage to all enemy minions and the enemy hero, and draw a card.
It's fun, it's flavorful, it resurrects a classic card back to being useful, and it's not overpowered.

I like this suggestion.

Because Rogue thievin' is slow, expensive and random.
Priest thievin' specifically pulls your opponents cards, which they can then ridiculously discount.
It's truly apples to oranges, and comparing the two is of little value.
