• 2020 Roadmap contains up to 6 innovations/implementations. But Influenceres were unable to test all of them because some content is still under costruction.

• All the content will be introduced gradually during 2020.

• Influencers played the entire upcoming expansion during demo session. They playtested a lot (5+ hours) and probably not just the new expansion.

• Influencers have seen the 2020 Hall of Fame and some of they were very surprised by it.

• Someone mentioned something about co-operation between Influencers in the near future.

• Each couple of Influencers recorded a videoclip (similar to HCT Events) that will be shown in some "context" soon. (2v2 Co-Op Announcement maybe?)

• Something HUGE will be announced very soon, presumably next week.

• The big changes coming this year include the competitive cooperative and multiplayer formats for battlegrounds.

• They will also be releasing a tournament mode for the classic format of play which will be ranked in on ladder in seasons. In standard conquest format 4 decks must be selected, 1 is then banned by your opponent.

My comments: Wow! this is super exciting! There could be up to 6 new features in Hearthstone this year! We should see something new in the weeks and months to come! As for hall of fame, there's speculation a few dozen cards will rotate out to be replaced by a core set. We might see all charge cards, including Leeroy himself get retired and replaced by rush for the core classic/basic set. There's also a possibility a few OP cards from 2019 expansions gets retired a year early, including Zephrys himself! I am also excited to see 2v2 mode and team mode in BG! We have wild and standard and it looks like we are getting a third format, the classic format. This also explains why 2020 HOF will be surprising! Expect many balance changes to classic as well.

 This deck was posted a month ago, chief.  Galakronds Awakening cards weren't all out yet.  It was a good deck for the pocket meta it lived in.

What is this card saying when played?  Something about "I feel bad for you...?"

I hate all of you using this deck.

So I talked to the guys down at Blizzard, and we kicked this thread around for a few minutes.

Welcome to hearthstone, and to these forums!

I remember when I first found Hearthstone, how awesome it was to find such a cool game.  It is by far my favorite card game.  It still holds my interest as a premiere hobby, even after all this time.  I'm glad you discovered it, as well.

In addition, I'm glad you discovered this community!  There is a lot of knowledge and intelligent discussion here (most of the time).  If you ever have beginner questions that you don't want to post for whatever reason, feel free to message me.

That guy (or gal) left that conversation laughing at you, mate.  When they get under your skin, the best thing to do is not let them know they got under your skin.

After being bogged down at rank 5 this month, this deck currently has me at rank 3 with three stars.  I've beat every popular archetype out there with it, from embiggen druid to face hunter, to highlander rogue and hunter.  It struggles against quest hunter, and mech paladin is a 50/50.  I like it a lot and will keep using it to try to push to legend before February ends.  Thank you for the deck!

I felt this post in my soul.  I love the Rogue class, and I have all cards for the "optimized" Highlander Rogue deck, so I built it, and at rank 5....  it's rocking about a 45% win rate.  Galakrond Rogue with Faceless Manipulators is a much more consistent and overall better deck.

I will say that Highlander Rogue is exciting to play, though.  Games feel like edge-of-your-seat deathmatches every time.  It's just that most of them result in YOUR death.

Here lately, I've stepped away from Rogue and given some Dragon Hunter variants a try, and it's been a breath of fresh air for me.  Solid winrate (currently rank 4 with 3 stars) and lots of fun.

I got to rank 1, three stars, this past season (January 2020).  It's the furthest I've ever gotten before.

I got pretty excited.

Then the loss, and the 4 that followed, brought me back down to Earth.

If I never hit it, I'm ok with that.  Hearthstone is for fun, for killing time.  My job, friends, family, personal health routine, etc, are all infinitely more important, and from what I have observed, sinking time in to the game is the real key to getting legend.

I'm just not that interested in sinking that kind of time in to something that is just a passing distraction for me on the rare occasions that I have nothing else to do.

I just beat a cocky Embiggen Druid who kept spamming "Well played" the entire game.

I had to weather this asshole hitting BOTH Breath of Dreams, BOTH Strength in Numbers, and one Embiggen.

I won with 1 health and 5 armor.  Screw you, Embiggen Druid.

(was playing Galakrond Rogue w/ two Faceless in it - they made all the difference)

It does, but from playing it various times at ranks 5 through 1 (legend still eludes me!), it runs out of gas way too fast.  I've experienced this both when I play it and when I face it.  

Mech Paladin is currently lower T2 according to Tempstorm.  It looks much better according to HS Replay, and it is without a doubt the best Paladin deck right now.  

 Ah, I was checking HSreplay and Vicious Syndicate. It does run out of gas fast, but I think it could become too oppressive if it didn't.

I don't see Blizzard giving paladin more card draw anytime soon tbh, Crystology is busted and I doubt they'll put something on top of that. If anything, they could give some value generation (like Chopshop Copter).

Sidenote: I just checked the stats on crystology (in mech paladin) and it's has the highest mulligan, drawn and played winrate in the deck lmfao, I've never seen anything like that.

Yeah Crystology is awesome in and of itself.  When I play mech Pally, it feels like you are spending all of your resources to down the opponent's big threats, and never really get to build up your own board the way you'd want.  Hence the running out of gas comment I made earlier.
