Finally Challenges/Adventure involving creativity and deck-building - for me these have always been more interesting and challenging than the pre-set ones, especially since we have no Heroic more anymore, and since the Outlands solo adventure was so easy and lacking any variation.

DONT MAKE THIS NOW! Bloodboom is nerfed and this no longer works at 4mana.

Both say the battlecry will trigger twice. Not "one more time" for each one. It is working as expected.

the ultimate strategy that worked!
Add your opponent to your friends, as this strategy requires you two to talk!
As Mage, wait until your opponent has Lorewalker Cho on the board (beware, Lorewalker will survive only one turn!), then play your Mirror Entity, and thus your opponent will have it. As soon as your opponent plays their new secret, summon your Animated Armor and let your opponent enjoy its copy. Make sure you have one or two minions with 5+ attack, as one of the Animated Armors can be destroyed by the all-devouring mech, otherwise. So I recommend you to play on this strategy around at least 8-9 mana level.
This will buy you some time. Assuming that you've already dealt 20+ damage to Gearmaster Mechazod, replenish your health and start building on the board. Use your opponent's spells to upgrade your minions, and keep a minion over 5 attack on the board, at whatever cost. Never fill your entire board with 7 minions, as this will cause Gearmaster Mechazod to destroy all your minions to secure itself some fresh air.
You may as well invest on some spell damage, and ask your opponent to use their Millhouse Manastorm. Then you may be able to cast Pyroblast and Fireball for no cost. If your grand plan with Animated Armor does not survive for long, use Brann Bronzebeard and your battlecry minions for additional HP supply for yourself and your opponent.
Do not get charmed by low-cost yet powerful cards, save them for the right moment. These are some of the cards NOT to be used at the early game: Lorewalker Cho, Millhouse Manastorm, Animated Armor, and Brann Bronzebeard
Still, probably it would take you and your opponent a few tries before taking the mech down. Communicate a lot, good luck!

It’s funny - when they first did this brawl, it wasn’t that hard. However, as I play it I notice how many cards have been nerfed since then. They didn’t rebalance the brawl with those nerfs in mind.

lol, the salt is real here.
Me and my friend loves co-op tavern brawls. However this is not one of the good ones, the decks were awful.

I really liked this tavern brawl. Working with a random player was a nice change. It took about 10 tries. Nearly got there a few times.

Interesting that demons are considered to be to powerful, yet Jaraxxus is considered to be one of the worst heroes. They should just change Jaraxxus completely.

Quote from serotoninronin >>It's been said a million times before but I always find that it bears repeating, and I have to often remind myself about it, but it's basically a pure numbers game. Unless you're really struggling with a deck or making big mistakes in your play, it literally is just about the number of games you play. As someone said earlier, 51% will get you there, it'll just take about 300 games from rank 5, where allike a 63% winrate will get you there in about 75.
Indeed. You really need time unless your winrate is pretty high.
51% is not high enough.. You will gain you 2 stars every 100 games you play (51 wins, 49 losses), so to get 25 stars you will need to play 1250 games. That’s about 40 games per day for a month. So I would say 51% does not get you to legend.. ;)
60% gives you 20 stars per 100 games, so you’ll still need to play 125 games, which is like 4 games per day in a month..
Even when you would have 70% you’ll still need to play 2 games per day for a month...
it depends on the time you have and the winrate...

I really like that they went back to the old style. Maybe I'm biased because I started Hearthstone buying Blackrock and Naxx, but I prefer the old style adventures. Also in the Story Mode/Normal Mode you never really needed to create a new deck anyways, because it's too easy, so I like that they let you have pre-made decks with crazy heroes for those, while letting you create a deck for Heroic!
2
8 bosses per adventure is really tiring, also the bosses have to be super generic since you can't build a deck specifically to fight them
1
WOW this brawl is such a good idea and so fun! Even if you lose to an OP deck you'll get to play with that deck right after!
1
Yeah, new adventure is a big let-down! I don't think the value is bad, but having to fight 8 random bosses with very little creativity put into them is quite disappointing(I think the Kobolds Dungeon Run was great, but after 4 expansions with the same thing it's getting annoying). I miss the crazy bosses we had back in the actual Adventure days!
2
I have been asking since the beginning for a Nostalgic brawl with only older sets. I guess this is close enough! Awesome!
1
Currently 0% winrate with this, and for all my opponents too when I’m playing any other deck lol
2
WTF is this card? I just saw it in a Kripp video and I've played this game for 3 years and had never seen it before!

This was the WORST CHANGE POSSIBLE. Not only does druid have many more problematic cards, the card didn't need to be turned absolutely unplayable(there were many possible nerfs). Also, now we have two Hearthstone cards that do the EXACT SAME THING(Counterfeit Coin and Innervate). If it wasn't enough, didn't Blizzard just say they didn't want to nerf basic cards, so that's why they created the Hall Of Fame?
This is oficially the worst change in the history of Hearthstone
BTW, there might be a druid card that clearly isn't balanced and can be easily nerfed without being turned unplayable, as it has many effects. Oh I forgot, this would mean 800 free dust for the players! We can't let that happen!
2
Yeah I forgot about the Voidcaller! I guess Mal'Ganis would be really good, too bad I don't have him. I had a lot of success with the normal Zoo list and the burst usually helps a lot
-3
Zoo lock is so OP in this brawl, I'm 5-0 already. But I don't get these weird cards like Mal'Ganis on your list. How would you even play these late-game cards if the games are over by turn 5?
