That's true. But the problem with Counterfeit Coin is that it takes up a card slot. The Coin is good because you get it for free. Tomb Pillager is insane because you get a decent minion and a coin to go with it. I'm not sure I'd be willing to take something else away to add one in, at least into miracle. I'll probably try using them when Pillager rotates out, but it'll probably be a lot worse.

Seems like a worse Shadowstep. If you play this in secret paladin you're probably getting a 1/1 back. If you play this in the hope to get a second Tirion, then you're going to be playing one of the slowest decks ever, and in this meta, you'll probably lose. I can see this being good in Murloc Paladin though. Getting another Bluegill Warrior or Murloc Warleader in would be insane.
Yes, Freeze Mage is really difficult to play well. Anyone can play it with a moderate degree of success, but it's currently vastly inferior when ranking compared to something like Midrange Shaman, even though the match-up is favoured. If you're really good with the deck, you can probably win most of your games on ladder. Depending on how good your friend is, it may or may not be worth it for them to try to play it, but if they have the deck, they should at least try and learn it. It's historically one of the strongest decks in the game.
Blizzard payed him off. They know that the majority of players picked him, so they figure paying him a large lump sum will cost them less than the money they lose on giving packs to the players who picked him.

Remember when Blizzard said they were trying their best?
...Yeah, about that Blizzard...

Absolutely garbage. Stats are bad, effect is bad, Rogue is bad.
RIP Rogue

Rogue is about to become the WORST class in the game, no questions asked

The card is insane on its own but I don't know if it will see play. It's like the Varian situation all over again

Nothing special here. Might be OK in arena but it's likely that only noobs will be playing it in constructed

Insane in arena, likely trash tier in constructed.

I think Blizzard will probably give Priest the Shaman/Paladin treatment- if not, I would expect more Purifies or the Rogue treatment.
