That would be a very easy way to make discardlock more playable. It would suck that BOTH legendary's for warlock is targeted to discardlock though. Not all lock players want to discard...
I often hear that netdecking is strongly despised, but do most players actually blind-copy the top-tier deck? (Because this is what most people write about it mad about) Most often I myself only see it as a reference. I wonder how it really is?
Netdecking is only "strongly despised" by a few vocal crusaders. In part, they like to pretend they are superior to others. But the larger part of their attitude comes from the fact that many of them don't understand (or don't accept) that even if a player builds his own deck from scratch, there's a very strong chance that it will look a lot like one of the popular meta decks.
Yes, you can go out of your way to try to be original and create something that hundreds of thousands of other players never dreamed of, but you're only fooling yourself. You might get a few wins due to the element of surprise, but in the long run your quirky deck will not stand up to the decks that have been sharpened to a razor edge by millions of matches.
So your other option is to build (from scratch) a deck that makes sense and will perform well. Well, guess what -- in most cases, that's going to come out looking like one of the decks we've all seen many times, even though you didn't copy it at all. Moreover, if you do come up with something original AND viable, it will eventually get copied and spread, and soon enough -- hey wow, you're using a netdeck.
So what you're saying is, 'life is hard so just google the answers?'
So this is the game, list what you think the new class DK hero cards will do. What we know so far is that they will all have a Battlecry, change the hero power and grant 5 armor. It was also confirmed that the cost will vary. Here are some ideas I came up with on the fly, some might be OP or just really bad, who cares!? :) Looking forward to seeing your ideas!
Battlecry: Restore 4 health to all minions I was way off! But I'm liking the board control gained.
New Hero Power:Voidform (0) Create and then Cast at zero mana Shadowform I'm upset that this doesn't interact with other castings of shadowform... but I'm still pretty happy! This is an amazing hero power!
Warlock: Cost 5
Battlecry: Restore 5 Health to your Hero
New Hero Power: (2) Draw two cards and then discard a random card, your hero takes 2 damage.
Warrior: Cost 6
Battlecry: Your hero gains +1 attack for each damaged Minion on the battlefield
New Hero Power: (2) Give +2 attack to a damaged minion until end of turn.
Battlecry: Until the end of your turn all elementals cost zero mana to play however take 5 damage for each elemental played this way. I was way off here :)
New Hero Power: (2) Summon a random basic totem but double its healthTransmute Spirit
Battlecry: Give all friendly minions stealth until the start of your next turn. Turns out its just your hero that gets stealth. Pretty happy how close my prediction was here :)
New Hero Power: (2) Unsummon target friendly minion.Death's ShadowI REALLY like the passive hero power, it leads to a whole new style of play for rogue.
I hope you enjoyed these thoughts. Don't take them too serious! If you want to add your own ideas I look forward to seeing them!
new hero power: enter shadow form and gain lifesteal. So you can use shadowform cards to hav 2/3/4 damage hero power with lifesteal. 3 damage with lifesteal is strong, 4 is op, which is rigjt since its a 3 card combo
Blizzard would have to change the wording on Shadowform for your idea to work. As of now it caps out at 3 damage, but 3 lifesteal for 2 mana is nuts. I would be fine if it didnt gain lifesteal, priest has so much healing it can do while in shadowform the lifesteal really isnt needed.
Tweaking your card idea as the following:
Cost: 5 mana
Battlecry: 3 damage to all minons (you have it dealing damage to heros)
New Hero Power: Cost zero mana, Cast Shadowform. This would basically be a one time use new hero power.
I would be cool with the DK Priest card being as the following:
Card Cost: 2 or 3
Battlecry: Something minor, like restore 4 health to all minions
New Hero Power: Cast Shadowform.
So at first this card seems really bad or kinda meh... but lets think about it. The main draw back of shadowform is that 3 mana cost makes it really hard to play on curve. The other issue with shadowform decks is that a reno/highlander deck with shadowform is fun but losing the second shadowform really sucks. This card would let reno/highlander decks run two shadowforms!
The other reason why this card would be perfect is it stops Raza cheese with some OP new hero power. What do you all think?
Edit: I raised the casting cost because I forgot about the 5 armor.
This generation of kids grew up with google, so its like they don't know any better. I remember in the early 90's making magic decks just from the cards I had and having a BLAST creating fun combos that came to me. I think it really takes the fun out of it to just copy past a deck without even putting some thought into deck creation.
Now don't get me wrong, I love watching streams from Kibler or Toast to see what crazy ideas they came up with. If one of their ideas really seems fun i'll try it out and tweak it based on my card collection or play style.
What it comes down to is that we can't be angry at netdeckers, they just are lazy or not creative OR just want instant gratification... (if this statement makes you angry then it prob hit close to home for you lol). I just wish there was a reward system for players that don't netdeck or play not as popular decks.

I would rather it be like this tbh.
Battlecry: discard a random card (ya i know, I hate the RNG too)
Deathrattle: Add a fel Mummy to your hand.

The wording is poor on this card.
"Battlecry: put fel Mummy into your hand." As in put THIS fel mummy, or all fel mummies or a whole new fel mummy?
I think the intent is this: "Battlecry: Add a Fel Mummy to your hand."

I wonder how this will work with Shadowflame. Would the lifesteal still work?

The attack gain is NOT a battlecry so it will grow even while in play. So ideally you play this turn 4 or 5 and then start the discarding.

This in Pirate Rogue with all that charge!

I really like this in pirate rogue. Think of all the cheep charge and this.
