    I don't think I ever run into bots. I really don't understand.

If you play Standard on NA server, you've more than likely encountered a bot; can basically guarantee it.

Names are usually jumbled up random letters... or (I'm assuming for the blizzard bots) a Color + an Item/thing ... i.e. LimeDrake  // SilverBear

Wheel lock makes other control options moot

Any Tendril build is so stupid and tedious to play against.  Why can't the Tendril counter reset from 10 back to 1 in the same way Excavate does?!?!?

Aggro is off the charts fast.

     Real.
& Tendril idea is top notch, if they would've done just a little more research into their own game, they would've know there'd only be 2, 10-cost spells in the game after rotation... and one of them is pretty strong.

If the game needs bots to be alive it's already a dead game. I'd rather play vs a slow real person than a fucking bot.

Could not disagree more. The game's -fairly- dead, so bots are expected given how the game plays. I would 210% rather face a bot than someone that's going to start roping every single turn when he starts losing

I'm sorry man, I can tell you're probably a handlock main or at least only play control decks.

I can tell that you clearly are a control main. I was the same way.

I can tell you think that you're right (because you said it twice).... but no, I play everything & have hit legend with different play styles, Antinodas OTK Mage, Dragon Priest, Pirate Warrior ...  Opinion still stands, aggro is easiest to play, that's why it's played so often, not many people want to think, or just don't have the capability of thinking. either way. trash is trash

the deck is very strong, but I actually agree with the OP. Idk why so many people are playing this. Wheel warlock is much easier to pilot and can win in any matchup. The DH gets rolled by most control decks. I guess it's good vs sif mage which is popular now. I really hate the way everything is balanced based on the stupid graphic where they list the classes and their overall win %. It's the worst thing that's ever happened to this game.

I think the winrates are heavily skewed mostly because the people at top legend play rock/paper/scissors and have 4 decks at their disposal. The best players just know when to pick the perfect deck to counter what they're facing and that has a huge impact on winrates. They prefer picking decks that are really good vs one thing instead of decks that are good in general. My theory is that people are fed up with all the control warriors, rainbow DKs and other extremely oppressive control decks, so a lot of people are playing combo decks that kill them without requiring a board like sif mage and spellpower druid. The DH deck everyone's playing absolutely annihilates those decks and that's dramatically affecting their winrate.

I am genuinely confused why everyone is ok with wheel warlock and not ok with the demon hunter deck. I played wheel warlock myself with a gimped list that was missing the Jailor of Yogg Saron card and I won 10 matches in a row from rank 5 diamond and got legend for the first time in 10 years of HS. Most of those matches I won simply by playing the 8 8 taunt + 8 8 rush turn 4 and then ignoring my opponent and going face every turn. In a deck that has 8 TOTAL BOARD CLEARS THAT CLEAR DEATHRATTLE and has an INEVITABLE WIN CONDITION that outvalues any deck in the game. Not to mention tons of healing and room for tech cards. But of course, everyone simps for that class so the deck will never be nerfed, but any deck that plays minions on the board will be nerfed.

Wheel Lock requires a little more thought... got to know what the opponent might have, plan your board clears for when you destroy your deck, etc... Not to mention, 8 mana to start my game when there's decks that can end the game by turn 6 just feels bad.

DH is simply ... "There's a 3 on the top left of the card, and a 3 in the bottom right, therefore, I play the 3 card." and throw everything at the face. The smoother the brain, the faster the thought process.

"I can't see how DH have any wins"

*Looks at stats* ... 70% win rate.. I think what  you meant to say is you don't understand that damage to face wins games.

Nah deleting this game now. I don't remember the last time the game was fun. The designers since Ben Brode left are so incompetent.

Doubt you actually delete it... See you again tomorrow friend

Hearthstone has been on the decline for a while. It is no longer a game, it is now just a blizzard cash grab. Hence - nostalgia xpac.

posted a message on Is there a point in playing off meta?

Off meta is for when you want to have fun and/or know how to build your own successful decks.

meta is for when you want to feel good about being bad at the game and squeeze wins out of low mmr players.

posted a message on Does anybody buy the pre order bundles?

I used to buy them - as of lately I haven't been pleased with the quality of updates, so I've stopped purchasing them until I can find a reason to support the devs.

Personally feel like they've been doing too many cash grabs, and updates that lack creativity, nothing new, nothing fresh, every update leaning more and more into aggro play styles.

To be fair, I'm also actively looking for a game I can pivot to and play with all the travelling I do for work.
