I've only been playing to earn coins. This is the first time I've ever done that. Usually, I like to be relevant in the meta but now I'm considering leaving Hearthstone if the next 2 expansions can't fix the current issues.
Are you sure? Consider reading comprehension and context then reread the title and copy directly below it. Considering this is the first pro tournament with the new expansion the title is not the problem.
"Blizzard asked some of the players competing in the Hearthstone Championship Tour about which cards they are most excited about from Witchwood. Here are their answers!"
Yea, I think Carnivorous Cube has some potential in this deck. Upon further review, I made another tweak to include Meat Wagon so you summon one of the eggs. That should help a little with the card draw issue with the Hunter class.
I've been trying to make Emeriss work in a Fun Deck, nothing competitive... just something satisfying you can pull off dropping some big minions on the board. Anyways, here it is... I'm still trying to optimize the deck so feel free to add constructive feedback.
Eh, I'm probably giving up on the idea of Big Beast Hunter, without Barnes to cheat a big minion out this type of deck will most likely struggle against a lot of archetypes.
It's funny the deck I created is getting more down votes than anything... it's suppose to be a fun deck during the first few weeks before the meta settles and everyone goes back to net decking.
Yea, that's true, the term I think probably applies best is Value Hunter, lol. As for amalgam, it could be useful for dire frenzy but at the moment I'm not sure of what I would cut out since I reworked the deck to optimize best with the eggs. The main plan is generate as many dragon cards to your hand while fighting for your board presence with devilsaurs. This is to help compensate for poor card draw and hopefully be able to get a lot of value with Emeriss.
I'm sure I will be fine tuning this deck in the next few days. I decided on 1 dire frenzy because the only synergy are the devilsaurs that proc the deathrattle and the 2 scaleworms. I tried to stay true to the idea of a Dragon Hunter, my initial deck had a lot more dragons. However, I felt after more consideration that the deck would be way to slow. So I adjusted the deck to incorporate more support for the eggs. Spiritsinger Umbra to proc both swamp dragon eggs seems like it can a decent combo. Or on turn 8 Umbra with 1 devilsaur egg and 1 swamp dragon egg. These combos could potentially add more value to the other deathrattle trigger cards.
Yea, I was thinking of including Rexxar depending how the deck performs tomorrow. Tol’vir isn’t a necessary include but it does help with Hunter card draw problem.

Thijs Baku Taunt Druid is also a good pick.

Here is the version I've been playing around with. I'm still making adjustments to the deck.

It's too bad Runic Egg is leaving standard, otherwise I could optimize card draw in the deck even more.
