Card won't see play, because you're going to want to hold it in your hand!

I don't know, turn 2, no playable card in your hand, Chameleos displays a 2 drop. Do you play the 2 drop ? I think you do.
My point is, sometimes you want to keep it in your hand the whole game, but sometimes you HAVE to play it.

you are picturing an aggro style, u dont need to play something just to play on curve when u run Priest
It depends what kind of deck you're playing, what class you're up against and the board state. I'm sure you've lost games as priest because you had nothing on 2, don't lie to me
that actually made me smile cause its true, ive seen some tempo plays on turn 2 that disrupt my gameplans entirely.

My (detailed) opinion on why this card isn't THAT strong as some people give credit for:

    Let's start with a post I saw from a fellow user -

    Quote from Alius4156 >>

    Good because:

    • You know what you're playing against
    • Basically a cheaper Mindvision (-1 mana)
    • A chance to know when to Dirty Rat (In Wild)
    • Know when your opponent has removal and plan accordingly.
    • It's Thief Priest Card.
As you can see Alius made a very nice and self-explanatory list. Yes, dear hearthpwn-ers, our little chameleon friend does work like a nice scout, he does give you a lot of knowledge on the opponent's hand and you can use this knowledge to react adequately to the opponent's current and futuristic plays. However this only works in control v control/slow mid-range decks and here are my reasons:
    - Against aggro you don't really want to know what their hand consists of, as you can always have a vague idea about it. You can almost always guess. But this isn't important, what's important is that you have to have the best hand in order to answer their threats. If I see a paladin, I'm almost sure, that it will be aggro. That's why I mulligan hard for cheap AoEs and taunts. I don't need any more concrete information, I only need to survive.
    - And it's not like that I want to use their synergistic cards (pirates) in my control deck anyway. I don't need a stupid 2/1 Deckhand, I need something big. Something, which will help me stop their zerging waves.
    - Against burn (mage) - I don't really need to know what their hand consists of either. As with the first case I have to try to stabilize as much as possible. And every attempt to get a heal is more valuable than knowing a card of theirs, which I will see in a second.
    - The card this little chameleon is showing is random. Meaning - imagine how he shows you cards A, B and C over the course of several turns. You don't get a full view of the opponent's hand (that would be broken), but he doesn't skip already shown cards. He might trick you in some situations.
    - As already mentioned before - a bad top-deck.
I would say, that even in control vs control this isn't that amazing. When I play my control warlock, I always expect my priest players to have hard counters (Mind Control, removals or clears). So I play my threats one by one, in order to minimize their value. So in reality you don't need the Chameleon in your matches, only when you are playing vs a really slow deck.
In other words - you are kinda overrating it, Leute.

Very interesting arguments, i guess as always only by playing a card can we fully grasp its full potential

40 % WR vs Warlock? wow thats already too much. I run a Controlock and i have 91% WR against Paladin class.

So its u driving me mad all the time!!!!!!!   ;)
lol speaking of which u might benefit from Equality to remove the huge board of taunts from DK Guldan. I know ppl say if u go that long vs Warlock u lose but thats not true at all. Save a knife juggler and equality vs Warlock and blast him with equality and things like Stand Against Darkness, i know it changes a lot ur deck but it will improve ur matchs against Warlock. I mean most times u just pray he doesnt have board clears early on. And against Controlock like myself u need to tech for it. But anyways Murlocadin is top tier either way

My bad, put Armorsmith, and second Warpath instead since they fit better IMO. But thanks for advice.

that works. ever thought about Bring It On! ? it works wonder on late game if u have a Brawl in hand. if ur opponent has much man to spend and only like 2, 3 or 4 cards in hand he will most likely vomit those on the board and then u just brawl. i guess it depends on the state of the match and your board numbers

First off, even if your opponent cheated, why Kindly Grandmother? Why not, I don't know, Crackling Razormaw for instance?

Secondly, others have already pointed this one out, evidence. Anything would be helpful, even a screenshot.

Lastly, maybe it's one of those card that made another Kindly Grandmother (assuming you are wild player):
    1. Generation - Ball of SpidersRam WranglerJeweled MacawStampedeGrimestreet InformantStitched TrackerInfestAbominable BowmanWebspinnerN'Zoth, the CorruptorChromaggusKel'ThuzadSpiteful Summoner (yes, I will include this), Summoning Stone (and also this), Carnivorous Cube, Faceless ManipulatorTomb LurkerBarnesPiloted ShredderTomb SpiderPrince TaldaramShallow GravediggerZola the Gorgon;
    2. Activation (as in it wasn't Kindly Grandmother who was summoned for the third time) - Feign DeathPlay DeadSeeping OozelingPrincess HuhuranTerrorscale StalkerSpiritsinger UmbraBaron Rivendare.

I know the list is long and most of the cards listed have no chance of appearing in your game, but maybe you remember something looking at all these cards. Also, I'm aware that there are more ways to gain additional card (Sylvanas Windrunner, Hungry Ettin), but I decided to not put these in, because you would have to play them (or Kindly Grandmother) and that would be obvious. Sorry, if the list is incomplete.

    hey OP- what he said

This is rubbish besides working as spy glass.

nope. this is amazing to hold on the entire game. Plus in mirror matches might work wonders as u need a certain card that you opponent might have and same applies to other classes. imagine you are facing a Warlock with board removal in hand you use it to remove the DK ressurect board etc
