Yes. BGH is unhealthy, and I feel the nerf is justified. I'd be happy if they simply reworked the card, maybe into something like "Destroy a dragon" or if they have the Giants a tribal tag and made it "Destroy a giant." The card was mainly introduced to counter Handlock, but even with BGH going out and even if they didn't nerf the giants, Handlock would actually not be a problem on ladder. We've gotten to a point where midrange decks like Hunter and Paladin have burst damage, and can afford to play around Molten Giants. We've also gotten to a point where a 4 mana 8/8 was still not better than a 4 mana 4/3, especially if the 4/3 was pressuring the opponent. Giants are an overstated issue
This sucks for Druid though. While they have recently receive moderately okay stuff like Mulch, the will need a good removal of their own every few sets.
I really feel you OP. I was a die hard control fan, playing Handlock since the birth of Hearthstone and then rotating to CW later when Handlock stopped being as effective. However, none of those decks really climb latter like Secret Paladin. I played like 20 games or so from rank 16 to rank 10 and I lost 1. It bores me to death, and I hate how little brain power goes into the deck. Aggro is so shitty and cancerous in this game that you're just flipping a coin to see who wins. It annoys me how effective that is.
So, the only card I see that is playable in the current meta is Sacred Trial. A Paladin Secret that forces you to either attempt to control a Paladin's board with only three minions (which actually makes Boom a nuisance rather than a boon) or have one of your things maybe die.
Blizzard already knows how cancerous Secret Paladin is, and they're just rubbing it in. The only really unfavorable matchup Secret Paladin has is Aggro Druid, because Aggro Druid fills the board faster, and now they've received a card to make that matchup better. If Secret Paladin gets to the point that it has no bad matchups, it will actually be more OP than Patron Warrior. That's the real reason we should be saying Fuck Blizzard. Unless all the other cards are completely defensive and don't help aggro decks at all, in my eyes this will be another failed expansion pack.
I think this is beautiful, and is a haunting reminder to what the past was. I would hope that everyone is able to read this at least once, and it should have a place in Hearthstone's history. If nothing else, it should remain Hearthpwn's top deck until the end of time.

Until Secret Paladin takes it over Kappa
