People act like they’re new to the game. People want their deck to autopilot win. People hate Aggro decks. People hate priest meta. Watch various high-ranked streamers play, and you'll see all kinds of different strategies. Sometimes even the streamer is surprised when they try something new or weird and it takes them to first place.

What that says to me is that the biggest mistake you can make is to believe there is a one-size-fits-all approach or pseudo-algorithm that will always work.

Every game is different, and every lobby is unique. You just have to go with the flow and make decisions that fit the current situation.
