Just hit legend #320 with deck, so it has some viability, it's also super fun so there's that. The most underwhelming card is Ticket Scalper but it can give you a huge turn 8 with hooktusk so it probably needs to stay. Also, shadowstepping hooktusk against a priest with Psychic Scream feels pretty great.
All depends on your win rate, with a 60% win rate it will take just over 100 games to reach legend, and with an average game length of about 10 minutes (some aggro decks will be closer to 5) you need to put in just a little over 10min a day to climb from 5 to legend, I don't think thats too much, but again you need to be playing high tier decks and making optimal plays every game.
Haven't played wild in a while, but back during the Wild Brawlesium I had tons of fun with Anyfin Paladin. The version I played was more midrange with anyfin as a strong finisher, but you could definitely build it as more of a pure combo deck if you wanted to.
I thought I might make a trip here after getting my entire hand discarded (except for one highmane) against cubelock as a big beast hunter when I got Howlfiend off of Wandering Monster, but then I topdecked Kill Command, followed by Explosive Trap then I drew King Krush on 9, then I emoted, then I smashed him in the face. One of the best experiences I have had in hearthstone lmao.

For oaken summons, I guess he figures it is the best option that is still ok to play from hand, which is probably true.
