Hello Lackey SMORC zoo.
Amazingly , I won one of my games! Ohhh but it was one heck of a struggle. Other games were quite laughable. A least my opponents got a good chuckle out of my druid deck :)
How do you play around a rogue that has 2x demonic projects that transform both of my baleful bankers, 1x duel that pulls my Shirvalla, and 1x timeout after me playing Nomi.
The fact that I lost isn't what's frustrating. It's the fact that there was nothing I could do better or learn from.
I love that you created an account just for that comment :)
Fuck you token druid... just fuck you.....ahhhhhhhh that feels a bit bett...... FUCK YOU Token druid players......
Hello fellow Hearthstone players. I have been playing this game since it began and I have had a lot of fun along the way. Lately I get tired of grinding to get to legendary so I will often just reach rank 5 and then play a fun deck that isn't optimized for winning but more just for fun. This got me thinking about how many different type of decks exist out there or how many things you can actually do in Hearthstone.
So here is the purpose of this thread....
I hope this can give people ideas of things to do when waiting for a new expansion or just finding themselves in a funk with Hearthstone.
I was curious to see what type of deck people enjoyed playing that they find difficult but rewarding?
I have a mill deck I use in Wild. I find this type of deck so rewarding since you need to often calculate your last two or three turns. I find you don't see it often but when played right (drawing the proper cards of helps of course) it is so satisfying. There is nothing better than playing someone that thinks they have you beat because you aren't playing many minions. All along the way they are emoting and then suddenly they realize they are powerless and have to watch you force to them draw to their deaths.
Why belittle decks people post like the comments some have made? No deck builder has to ever post anything and this deck he put effort into a pretty decent guide and his thought process. Why troll decks built and posted when that’s kinda one of the main goals of this site? Regardless if he changed one card or you think this archetype is a cancerous deck? I hate them on ladder (not as much as DR rogues) because they’re tough as well as Galakrond warrior but rather than insult for effort I’ll give it a +1 because I think the card he teched in could provide some nice tempo
I agree that Inkmaster Solia wasn't a very good card, even though I still have it. But going from "If your deck has no duplicates" to "if you are holding a dragon" and changing the orange gem into a blue one AND reducing the mana cost is underselling it a little bit, I think.
I mean, the design suggests a tempo play, which you never really cared about in a Reno deck. Adding a free 5/5 to a Flamestrike, Blizzard or a Kazakus Potion was surprisingly not quite broken enough, when you were constantly playing defensively anyway. Also, the 7 mana cost was a bit akward, since the discount on the spell didn't free up enough mana to do have a crazy turn.
Will this card do better? I don't know. I think with the much easier condition and the lower cost, it might have a chance in a midrange deck. You can play a bit more proactively without the highlander requirement, and keep this card around for a Pyroblast or a Power of Creation. It might even be good enough to simply play it with Conjurer's Calling, transforming a weak 6 mana minion into two (hopefully) better ones.
I hesitate to call it good, but it's definitely worth trying out.
First of all: Interesting idea. Though I somewhat expect that either the bees or Overkill as a mechanic will eventually get changed if these strategies ever get out of hand.
I like the idea of armor gain better than using this combo for damage. At least you can achieve it within one turn. Seems more reliable to me than hoping a Linecracker survives a turn to deliver a killing blow.
As an alternative to Dreampetal Florist, you could also have all the combo cards reduced with Emperor Thaurissan. Arguably a bit harder to do, since you'd need all the required cards on hand at the same time, but it would also lower the cost of the combo to 6+2+2+0+0=10. The upside would be that you are not required to play all minions in your hand before you can play Florist.
Another thing I wanted to point out: Aside from the obvious weaknesses like Mecha'thun combos, Exodia Paladin, deck disruptors or simply dying to aggressive decks, any deck that can infinitely extend its size, whether it's Rogue, or Jade Druid, or an infinite Shudderwock combo with a Baleful Banker, will simply force a tie. Once you played your combo, you can do nothing but wait, and if your opponent's deck is infinite, you will just reach the turn limit. So, maybe add one Jade Idol or even Mecha'thun (which would require the Thaurissan switch) so that you have a win condition outside of making your opponent concede.
That new Secretkeeper art may or may not make me aroused. Mind you i will miss the butt cheeks a little. We just get the other view now.
Wait, wut?! Do you actually get aroused by a HS cards? Not judging, I just never looked at them like that. If these changes impact your libido, you know there's a world of porn out there waiting for you to discover it.
