Still to this day, I want a Multi-Class mode. I think it's the next logical step. At least a mode that has little to no class restriction. And no, Tournament Mode is not a format. It's like saying Tavern Brawl is a format.
As this is my favorite day of the year, I wanted to take the time to wish everyone a very Happy Halloween. I was planning on hosting another small Custom Card Competition, but I've been working a lot, so I haven't had time for things like that.
Given the spirit of things, I thought I'd also ask about your plans for the day, as well as the obvious other inquiries listed here. Got a costume you want to share? Got a prank you want to pull on people? Would love to see/hear them.
i have a strong feeling they are gonna nerf baku (or at the very least change the hero powers) in april, simply because facing the same kind of decks for 2 years is super boring, if not for balance issues.
It's almost like you've never heard of Patches or Patron Warrior. They don't nerf things just because those things can be boring to some people. Things get nerfed when they get abused or overused. If they were ever about legitimately improving gameplay, they'd be buffing cards more often. Nerfs aren't for entertaining the crowd. It's like thinking the executioner poledances on his halberd before covering everyone in blood from cutting off a head. I don't know how you could confuse nerfs like this.
From a design standpoint, I'm not really a fan of decks full of just odd/even cost cards. Too restrictive. While Kazakus is fun to a degree, I don't like the idea of locking my deck down for a reward. The worst offender in my opinion could very well be the Prince lineup that we got from Frozen Throne. Just one card in your deck benefits if you're using just one of the Princes.
Seeing Odd decks can certainly be irritating because you're told up front if they'll always have a 1 mana card on hand from the beginning of the match. Always having something to play on turn 1 is nice, but being told that that's the case for your opponent makes it hard to be on the ready often times, at least for me. The fact that Odd decks have overtaken the game so much is somewhat bothersome.
I was actually coming back to mention this. Look at Deathwing. The word "other" on a card that affects the board so drastically is one of the most important details.
Completely restricting players from using cards like Spells and Minions is too much. I feel like they could still cost the same but have their stats adjusted. I feel like the stat adjustment could be made sense of after making it so only you aren't allowed to play cards of those types.
Spell Hunter would be completely cut off from doing anything if players can't play Spells. Minion Mage would also be incapable of playing anything while you can't play Minions. You'd have to apply the restriction specifically to yourself. With the restriction being so hard and only applying to you, you could easily make your minions stronger. Make Tyrana something like a 7 mana 6/8. Winglore could be a 5 mana 6/6.
That Minion/Spell restriction is too much, really. If you wanted it to stick, your two minions would have to have a really low Health total.
I'd go further into the topic here, but your team punishes people for discussing moderator action taken against users. To actively punish and repress people for discussing action taken against them is sad. If you want to know just what you should be aware of that I consider sensitive, a message will suffice. Again, I'd mention certain things, but your team really hates looking bad when details come out in public.
I'd be inclined to agree that my posting behavior has gotten a lot worse lately, but I can't really say I've changed my style much. Often times, I try to be helpful, but I comment and respond to things according to the behavior of those around. If I'm acting a certain way, it is because it is inspired, not forced.
Speaking of calling you sensitive specifically, I'm remarking on how you and a number of other admins take and handle reports. I'm not the only one that feels your brand of moderation is a bit much. You have enemies you aren't aware of, Sinti. These enemies exist because of how you handle your administrative business here. Admins and moderators aren't often made aware of this, but I'm happy to tell you here and now because I often find myself irritated with reports filed against me. I don't have a personal problem with you, but I've spoken with a number of people that do, people who have made me aware when speaking of the moderation team and the way the moderation team conducts business here. Felt it was a good opportunity to make you aware of this.

Cards that convert Battlecries to Deathrattles. I need this bad, and so does Dane.

I'd rather we have 60 card decks than 20 mana.

All hail Azalina Soulthief. All hail!

I'm glad you acknowledged the problem with Pyrestone Shard. Nice change.

Best of luck to everyone.
Note: Edited the phrasing.
