Elemental shaman is quite nice to play. Yesterday I got 68% win ratio from Rank 14 to Rank 9.
The only problem is the quest rogue as mentioned. However after changing my game now it was not that bad. I actually won 5 out of 6 matches. So what I did was stop fighting for board control at early stages. Smork most of the time and try to flood the board. This allows me to prepare for lethal on turn 7 or 8 using the Blazecaller or Kalimos, Primal Lord battlecry to the face.
The trick is to make the rogue trade a bit with the 5-6-7 mana elementals before she could flood the board with 5/5s.
2300/800 here and I got a golden Bloodmage Thalnos 7 months ago. DE it then also other golden cards. But 3-4 months ago I decided to keep the goldens I get since only a few from the worhy cards I didn't have and could wait to craft them with the dust from the regular cards.
Aren't the cards that you deny initially going back to the deck so they can be randomly picked again? I mean if you deny 3 cards the are substitutes picked out of 27 or 30 cards?
Rank 19 highest in 6 months. If you enjoy playing the game - keep doing it it for fun.
In October I will be making 1 year of playing HS and highest I have reached is Rank 2 so what I decided is that this game is not for me and I will stop playing it. Already uninstalled it from one of the PCs.
I have the same problem as well. Always trying to get control of the board thus leaving lots of minions, but with little health. An AOE later gets me in trouble.
Maybe we need to be better at analyzing what we have in our hands, decks and opponent's hand/deck. Sometimes need to go to face and even hope that the opponent has a right answer. Also if some of the minions have little attack you can leave them on the board and go to face thus closing your opponent to lethal range. Even if you lose the big guy next turn.

Isn't this mechanic working only when the card is on the board?

It's normal for the start of the season so I don't pay any attention to them. Everyone tries to rank fast

My first legendary from pack was Harrison Jones. First crafted was Cairne Bloodhoof

Yeah it's like - you hid the minion and you know where it is, but the enwmy can't really "see" it

If he did that doesn't it mean that it is weak against Hunter?
