posted a message on Hearthstone Players in China to Receive 8 Free Packs, The State of Hearthstone Events & Brawls

I suppose a small indie company could add more holiday events. Maybe even spice it up every year so they are slightly different.

posted a message on The priest problem post nerf

If it's on top lets complain until it gets nerfed. Then the next deck that rises to the top lets complain until it gets nerfed. Rinse and repeat. Hearthstone players are too predictable at this point.

Spoiler: It doesn't matter what they nerf. You will always play those tier 1 decks.

posted a message on The game is becoming too expensive

I liked it when there were adventures. The cost was fairly inexpensive and gave every card. Every week the meta would evolve slowly as new wings were released. It was nice to get a break from purchasing so many packs to get a decent collection. Probably the main reason they don't do them anymore. $.$

posted a message on How is Jade Druid post nerf? What cards would you replace?
    Quote from CylonToaster >>

Jade druid is stronger because the counter decks were nerfed. No need for Spreading Plague because the aggro decks that were able to beat jade are now nerfed. The only opposition to jade now is jade (lol) or priest. So the obvious choice would be to replace the 4 cards with some big drops. Grab your coffee because this is going to be a slow ResidentSleeper meta.

I don't recall Hunter getting nerfed
I don't recall seeing a hunter for months now.

posted a message on Hearthstone Patch 9.1 - Card Balance Changes Have Arrived!

Enjoy playing against jade druid and priest for another year. Decks that stood a chance like midrange murloc paladin, pirate warrior and aggro druid got gutted. Heck even shaman got destroyed because of hex and it was not performing well in this meta... Blizzard logic.

posted a message on Is the matchmaking system really random, or rigged?
    Quote from Slydie >>
    Quote from CylonToaster >>

It's hard to explain but after playing for years you start to notice the game tries to pull you back when you go on win streaks. You start facing counter decks and mulligans seem to get worse. I always compare it to arena, the more you win in a row the harder it becomes. Whenever i go on a massive win streak i just call it a day. This method has worked best for me whenever i rank up. A theory is trying to keep worse players more equalized so they stick around longer. Reducing the skill gap can be beneficial because it makes the majority feel special. Things are very random for a reason, but i would never count out the possibility things are rigged to a point as well.

     Consider this logic.
-Why are you on a winstreak in the first place? Did you get some lucky draws or good matchups? Are those likely to continue forever?
-When going on a long streak, probably with a good deck, playing well, how is it most likely that you eventually lose? (How about a lucky draw or a counterdeck...)
Your observation proves absolutley nothing about the system, this is the very nature of random matchmaking. Good luck trying to prove any of it. There is no proof here whatsoever.
Ya i never said my observations proved anything and i am not trying to prove anything. Remember when i said it's a theory. You can't prove whether it's rigged or not but i do believe that it is. If i am wrong i am fine with that. After placing high every month since release it's just my opinion from what i have seen. At least it adds something to the thread topic, rather than replying to every post in this thread with meaningless rants because you disagree with everything.

posted a message on The Balance Patch Releases Next Week - September 18

I preferred the double Innervate into Bittertide Hydra on turn 1. The only downside was waiting for the game to end because they quit out of the client.

posted a message on Synergy Picks in the Arena are Being Removed

This is a very positive change and should never be reintroduced. The days of getting synergy cards like Frost Lich Jaina in your first 2 picks will finally be over.

posted a message on Twitch Prime Card Backs Available Starting September 11 - Oktoberbrawl!

Really lame rewards compared to the Overwatch rewards or Tyrande. I wouldn't feel too left out if you can't get Prime this month.
