Even Goblins and Gnomes had way less RNG than Kobolds and Catacombs. And we haven't even seen all the cards yet.

SoulHero7 posted a message on Kobolds & Catacombs - Hearthstone's Seventh ExpansionPosted in: GuidesRecruit actually is 100% random though. It's not like Discover or Adapt where you have a choice in the randomness.
- Cards with the Recruit keyword immediately summon minions from your deck and put them into play. Some cards recruit minions that match certain conditions; others recruit randomly chosen minions.
So far only Guild Recruiter limits the randomness a bit with it's Recruit effect, and I'm sure there will be others, but if you play a card like Gather Your Party, it's literally a spell version of Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound that works instantly. Unless there's proof from Blizzard that Recruit works like Discover or Adapt, then it's pure randomness.

YJHS2000 posted a message on New Paladin Minion - HydrologistPosted in: Card DiscussionI think I recall Blizzard saying that if a class with secrets played this card, they'd be offered secrets from their class (as expected), but if a non-secret class played this, they'd be offered Paladin secrets.

Whenever an RNG effect happens, it has either the best or worst possible outcome and Brodesaurus explains why it's good for the game.

EchO1088 posted a message on Miracle Jade Rogue [RANK 5+]Posted in: Miracle Jade Rogue [RANK 5+]Took out one Azure Drake, one Jade Spirit and Bloodmage Thalnos for an additional Fan of Knives and two Questing Adventurer seems to work better.
I found that I wasn't playing the Jade Spirits on curve and often had an extra in my hand, the Thalnos wasn't providing much value and I found with two auctioneers I didn't need the card draw from Azure...the fan of knives is good in this meta + provides cycle that I'm losing from Azure and Bloodmage, and the two questing adventurers require the opponent to remove them or become big quick.

Elise is more of a value card, I wouldn't say Prince Malchezaar is a good card for the deck, you'd probably want to switch out for some kind of counter like; Harrison Jones or The Black Knight but if you don't have any of those, then go for some kind of weapon removal

In that case, don't use Doomguard at that moment, think of him more as burst to use after the big cards you wanted to drop are down when they're clogging your hand. If you still don't like it, then you could replace it with a good body like Tar Lurker or Leeroy Jenkins if you still like the idea of burst. If you're willing to, you could add in a counter if you're facing something a ton, For instance; pirate warrior - Golakka Crawler or jade druid - Skulking Geist
An upside to Doomguard is that it gives your Voidcaller a decent grab

It's not an excuse, it's valid reasoning. This archetype is perfectly valid compared to Taunt Warrior which is more of a control styled tempo deck rather than full on control.

Dude, put that Heal bot in the deck, it's wild now, so embrace the WILD

Indeed, someone tested it's metal in a highly corrosive zone

I played against this deck in wild and found that it's horribly weak to mill rogue

You failed to touch on any points that lastcaress23 made. Llavios, you sound somewhat butt hurt and have come to the rescue of a game that has major flaws, you shouldn't give immunity to what definitely needs critique unless you legit think it's perfect. I personally agree with lastcaress on the most part, but I still think the quests are rather fun to play and even counter, it's a double edged blade and that's what's fun about it. But the game is now geared towards new players, for those who can't afford the high cost cards and adventures. It's an extremely expensive game, and I would say that's it's main flaw, if the game was cheaper, I would be able to test more decks and have more fun, but otherwise, I'm stuck with waiting for "good" deals.

Priest is a different class now. I don't recognize it anymore
