ps: Most of the time i use kael to get out the stoneborn generals early (kael into forsaken lieutenant into stoneborn turn 8). I only use kael for a early denathrius when i am in a tight spot
You can run finley instead. He allows you to redraw your starting hand if you did not get any combo pieces and he also enables you to shuffle big minions back into your deck when you do not have kael.
Just played as reno-mage against quest-druid. The druid played ysera into floop. One of the portals was vanilla nozdormu. Then more portals followed. For some reason the portal animations counted into my time-limit after his turn ended. My turn started and instantly ended. The druid then was able to just go all in face and win.

Oh yeah because the game is sooooo fun with no midrange and aggro in the meta.
Look at quest dh and the rogue decks - this happens with no aggro and midrange around to keep them in line.
Only renathal or combo decks in the meta is not enough,

Good start, but i feel like the dh nerfs are not enough.
The relic will have reduced costs thanks to the quest anyway and the lifesteal card gets played on turn 6+ most of the time.
With some luck the renathal nerfs will lead to aggro decks raising as a counter.

i made some changes to make the tutors better
ps: obviously you will lose some matches with a highroll deck like this, but when things go well it is rly rly fun
in my experience the combo works in 2 out 3 matches thanks to the tutors or just by getting lucky

Does korrak work with smokescreen? If yes he is absolute worth running in this deck. (i do not own him so i can not confirm it)
Taelan is risky because of overdraw when you draw him with smokescreen.
