I see Cancer decks as anything that is exceptionally common and completely obnoxious to play against. Original Patron Warrior is the best example. Pre-MSG Midrange Shaman is a decent example. Jade Druid would be if it was still as popular as it was on day one.
He's maybe not essential but the extra draw AND spell power on the same body make him really really nice as You said ;P especially in a Reno Mage where every card counts :D have You tried the Manic Soulcaster ? Is it any good in Reno or just a gimmick ? :P
I've had a lot of fun with my Highlander Mage, honestly. Soulcaster is definitely pretty good. Delays fatigue, lets you get another Reno or Kazakus. A worthy addition, I feel, but the version of the deck I'm running probably isn't optimal, but it's fun.
Well I normally wouldn't run a Pyroblast in my Reno Mage as it seems a dead card most of the time - that's why I'm asking. And I still lack Bloodmage Thalnos - it's soo hard spending 1600 dust on him
Was just an example of a fringe benefit. Thalnos isn't really an essential card in most decks that use him. He's just really nice to have.
Assuming I already have anything else you'd reasonably recommend (because I do, besides really niche shit)...
Should I craft Hobart, Wickerflame, Aya, Kazakus, Baron, or Harrison? (I enjoy the types of decks they all go in equally. I want to win more often. *wink*)
Planning on playing a Jade deck? Aya. Want to play Highlander? Kazakus. Tech vs. Aggro for your warrior deck? Baron. I find Harrison isn't usually a necessity, since you can often replace him with the easier to use Acidic Swamp Ooze. I think Hobart and Wickerflame are difficult to say atm, with the meta being as fluid as it is.
Soo after the 2-3 days of playing did anyone gave Reno Mage a go and can tell how do they feel about Inkmaster Solia ? :) I'm considering crafting her but the voices of negativity on this forum telling me she's a glorified Firelands Portal keeps me away from her... What is Your opinion fellow mages ? Is she worth the dust ? I'm sitting on 3400 dust and I'm thinking about crafting her and then crafting some other cards to fleshout the collection.
People who call her a Firelands Portal are blind and dumb. She's a card that lets you play a big spell while also developing a 5/5 onto the board. It's bonkers tempo.
It's has the same effect as Jeeves where if you can't draw 3 cards because you are in fatigue, it will only draw a maximum of 3 cards. If you played Naxxramas and tried to beat Patchwerk using Jeeves, you would notice that it would only draw 3 cards because infinitely drawing cards breaks the system and makes Mill decks OP. Hearthstone Mechanics.
Ah. I was always too lazy to do all the Heroics. I mean, it makes sense. You'd just think they could word it properly though.
Honestly, I personally really like the Kazakus and goon decks, and I'm not half as tilted by the Jade decks as I thought I'd be. I'm taking it as a win.
I ended up in a game vs. a Reno Priest and we both ended up into fatigue (Shocker), he gets Genzo, the Shark out of the Golden Monkey. He's five turns deep into fatigue and I'm two deep.
So when he plays Genzo, the Shark and we both have less than 3 cards, so I sit here thinking "Oh wow, that's an awkward way to tie", except when he attacks he first draws 3 cards (bringing him into negative HP), then I draw 3 cards (Still in positive HP). He dies, I win. But the card reads "Until they have three cards"; so by the text we both should have drawn ourselves to death and had a draw, but he really just draws at most 3 cards. Interesting interaction.
The fact that it makes you draw first, and won't draw infinitely kind of sucks for the thought of it in Mill decks... Although I don't play those so at least I won't have to deal with it.
I've only played two games with my Highlander Mage, but I'm 2-0 vs. a Pirate Warrior and a Jade Druid...
Although the Jade Druid accidentally overdrew himself to 10 HP while doing that weird shit where they empty their deck and fill it with Jade Idols for the entire turn. PyroblastLUL.

I feel like Don Han'Cho is probably the one you'd see in the largest number of decks.

Kazakus
Inkmaster Solia
Aya Blackpaw
Raza the Chained
And a part of me wants to craft Sergeant Sally, even though I have no idea how I'd use her. She's just such a cutie.

7/10 so far. Will see when the meta settles.
