It always amazes me that Blizzard just randomly adds or removes minions and heroes from the pool without keeping the overall number the same. Other auto battlers like TFT have settled on one exact number because their balance revolves around that number while Battlegrounds keeps re-inventing the wheel after every patch.

But why wasn't Spellcraft also part of the Standard HS expansion? That'd be a really sweet mechanic. Minions that generate a weak spell every turn would in incredibly fun.

Anyhow, looking forward to this patch. Actually kinda glad Buddies are going away. I hope buddies come back some time, like I hope Tickets come back sometime for a month or so before disappearing again, but it'll be nice to spend a bit of time apart from them.

There are literally two, Barrens Scavenger and Demonic Assault. Some Warlocks run one, some none and very few run both.
Yeah, give them insane card draw and then let them play a 6/6 taunt for free (...).
It's not free, cost is always reduced to 1, but you have to get rid of 20 cards from your deck first, which is almost impossible without self-mill (meta is too fast). And I wouldn't say Warlock has insane draw, it's just single card Backfire and Hero Power. Now compare it to Demon Hunter, Mage or Rogue...
Yeah, I'm gonna say 1 mana instead of 6 is essentially free. Mortal Coil is card draw. Free Admission is card draw. Hand of Gul'dan is card draw. Play Stealer of Souls, draw a bunch, play them for health, heal with Soul Fragment, reduce the cost of your cards with Runed Mithril Rod, and play the taunts that you happened to draw. Warlocks easily draw and play 10 cards a turn. "Wow, I got you to 7 HP but now I can't do anything because you just played half your deck, healed to 15 and put out taunts." Super balanced.

No, currently it’s pretty stale. But I’m being positive and hopeful that these changes will create some fun diverse decks.

Meh it’s been a coin flip for me lately, this weekend it ruined a lethal chance on my DH which cost me the game and later on the same day it gave my warrior aoe spell which let me help clear the board late game and cause the paladin to give up cause he didn’t have anything else to push with.

Tickatus corrupt should be both decks. Mage cards that are the real issue are refreshing water and incanters flow. Cant believe they aren’t getting more attention with how insane they are.

played a few games, i noticed if you cant seal the deal by turn 7 you pretty much are done for, it doesnt have much oomph after that

You can build these mage decks without lunacy and it’s still strong. Refreshing water and incanters flow are 2 insanely overpowered cards that should have been nerfed

it seems you either win very fast or have a slow painful death waiting for cards you need. still a fun deck.
